Elemental titanium(Ti)and nick.l(Ni)powders were consolidated by spark.plasma sintering(SPS)to fabricate Ti-51%Ni(mole fraction)shape-memory alloys(SMAs).The objective of this study is to enhance the superelasticity of SPS produced Ti-Ni alloy using free forging as a secondary *** from two processes(with and without free forging)were compared in terms of microstructure,transformation temperature and *** results showed that,free forging effectively improved the tensile and shape-memory *** increased from 6.8%to 9.2%after *** maximum strain during superelasticity increased from 5%to 7.5%and the strain recovery rate increased from 72%to 92%.The microstructure of produced Ti-51%Ni SMA consists of the cubic austenite(B2)matrix,monoclinic martensite(B19′),secondary phases(Ti3Ni4,Ti2Ni and TiNi3)and oxides(Ti4Ni2O and Ti3O5).There was a shift towards higher temperatures in the martensitic transformation of free forged specimen(aged at 500°C)due to the decrease in Ni content of B2 *** is related to the presence of Ti3Ni4 precipitates,which were observed using transmission electron microscope(TEM).In conclusion,free forging could improve superelasticity and mechanical properties of Ti-51%Ni SMA.

Herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi2O3solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy3+and Gd3+has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi2O3-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRD）,field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（FESEM-EDX）,thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis（TG/DTA）,and the four-point probe technique（4PPT）.XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi1-x-yGdxDyyO1.5（y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20） exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic（FCC） structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi0.90Gd0.05Dy0.05O1.5has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd2O3increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi2O3solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi0.75Gd0.20Dy0.05O1.5exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）.

Cu2O thin films with （111） preferred orientation have been grown on glass and Cu substrates by rapid thermal oxidation of Cu at 500℃ for 45s. The optical band gap energy was determined by spectral data of transmittance and absorbance to be 2.04eV. The electrical conductivity of grown films was measured around （1：1 × 10^-5Ω^-1cm^-1） at 300k. Thermoelectric power measurements of the film were carried out. Furthermore, the properties of these films are compared with properties of Cu2O obtained by other methods.

In this article,a low-cost electromagnetic structure emulating photonic nanojets is utilized to improve the efficiency of wireless relay *** spectral element method,due to its high accuracy,is used to verify the efficiency of the proposed structure by solving the associate field *** application of optimal single-relay selection method shows that full diversity gain with low complexity can be *** this paper,the proposed technique using smart relays combines the aforementioned two methods to attain the benefits of both methods by achieving the highest coding and diversity gain and enhances the overall network.performance in terms of bit error rate(BER).Moreover,we analytically prove the advantage of using the proposed *** our simulations,it can be shown that the proposed technique outperforms the best k.own state-of-the-art single relay selection ***,the BER expressions obtained from the theoretical analysis are perfectly matched to those obtained from the conducted simulations.

OBJECTIVE: To investigated the relationship between epicardial fat volume (EFV) and coronary collateral circulation (CCC) in patients with stable coronary artery disease (CAD)。 METHODS: The study population consisted of 152 consecutive patients with CAD who underwent coronary angiography and were found to have at least 95% significiant lesion in at least one major coronary artery。 EFV was assessed utilizing 64-multislice computed tomography。 The patients were classifield into impaired CCC group (Group 1, Rentrop grades0-1, n =58), or adequate CCC (Group 2, Rentrop grades 2-3, n = 94)。 RESULTS: The EFV values were significantly higher in paitients with adequate CCC than in those with impaired CCC。 In multivariate logistic regression analysis, EFV (OR = 1.059;95% CI: 1.035-1.085; P = 0.001); and presence of angina were independent predictors of adequate CCC。 In receiver-operating characteristic curve analysis, the EFV value > 106.5 mL yielded an area under the curve value of 0.84, with the test sensitivity of 49.3%, and with 98.3% specifity。 CONCLUSIONS: High EFV, and the presence of angina independently predict adequate CCC in patients with stable coronary artery disease。 This association offers new diagnostic opportinities to assess collateral flow by conventional ultrasound techniques。

The objective of the presented study is to perform a vibration analysis and investigate the stability of a viscoelastic-fluid conveying pipe with an intermediate *** mathematical model is elaborated in the framework.of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory in combination with the k.lvin-Voight viscoelastic *** resulting differential equation of motion and the related boundary conditions and compatibility conditions in the mid-span support are solved analytically using a power series *** results show that an intermediate support located atξ_(s)=0.1 andξ_(s)=0.5 increases the critical velocity up to 35%and 50.15%,***,the non-dimensional critical velocity for an intermediate support atξ_(s)=0.1 is 4.83.
