With the popularity of e-learning,personalization and ubiquity have become important aspects of online *** make learning more personalized and ubiquitous,we propose a learner model for a query-based personalized learning recommendation *** contextual attributes characterize a learner,but considering all of them is costly for a ubiquitous learning *** this paper,a set of optimal intrinsic and extrinsic contexts of a learner are identified for learner modeling.A total of 208 students are ***(Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory)technique is used to establish the validity and importance of the identified contexts and find the interdependency among *** acquiring methods of these contexts are also *** the basis of these contexts,the learner model is designed.A layered architecture is presented for interfacing the learner model with a query-based personalized learning recommendation *** a ubiquitous learning scenario,the necessary adaptive decisions are identified to make a personalized recommendation to a learner.

Electricity,being the most efficient secondary energy,contributes for a larger proportion of overall energy *** to a lack of storage for energy resources,over supply will result in energy dissipation and substantial investment *** electricity consumption prediction is vital because it allows for the preparation of potential power generation systems to satisfy the growing demands for electrical energy as well as:smart distributed grids,assessing the degree of socioeconomic growth,distributed system design,tariff plans,demand-side management,power generation planning,and providing electricity supply stability by balancing the amount of electricity produced and *** paper proposes amedium-termprediction model that can predict electricity consumption for a given location in Saudi ***,this study implemented a standalone ArtificialNeuralNetwork(ANN)model and bagging ensemble for predicting total monthly electricity consumption in 18 locations across Saudi *** dataset used in this research is gathered exclusively from the Saudi Electric *** pre-processing phase included normalizing the data using min-max method and mapping the cyclical attribute to its sine and cosine *** number of neurons and learning rate of the standalone model were optimized using hyperparameter ***,the standalone model was tested against the bagging ensemble using the optimized *** bagging ensemble with an optimized ANN as the chosen classifier outperformed the standalone ANN *** results for the proposed model produced 0.9116 Correlation Coefficient(CC),0.2836 Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE),0.4578,Root Mean Squared Percentage Error(RMSPE),0.0298 MAE,and 0.069 Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE),respectively.

Dynamic spectrum sharing and cognitive radio networks were proposed to enhance the Radio Frequency(RF)spectrum ***,there are several challenges to realize them in real systems,such as sensing uncertainty causing issues to licensed users,business models for licensed service *** virtualization is regarded as a technology that leverages service level agreements to sublease unused or underutilized RF spectrum that addresses aforementioned issues and helps to significantly enhance the utilization of the RF spectrum,offer improved coverage and capacity of networks,enhance network security and reduce energy *** wireless virtualization,wireless networks'physical substrate is shared and reconfigured dynamically between virtual wireless networks through Mobile Virtual Network Operations(MVNOs).Wireless virtualization with dynamic configurable features of Wireless Infrastructure Providers(WIPs),virtualized wireless networks are vulnerable to a multitude of attacks,including jamming attacks and eavesdropping *** paper investigates a means of defense through the employment of coalition game theory when jammers try to degrade the signal quality of legitimate users,and eavesdroppers aim to reduce secrecy ***,we consider a virtual wireless network where MVNO users'job is to improve their Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio(SINR)while the jammers target to collectively enhance their Jammer Received Signal Strength(JRSS),and an eavesdropper's goal is to reduce the overall secrecy *** results have demonstrated that the proposed game strategies are effective(in terms of data rate,secrecy rate and latency)against such attackers compared to the traditional approaches.

The unsteady oscillatory flow of an incompressible second grade fluid in a cylindrical tube with large wall suction is studied analytically. Flow in the tube is due to uniform suction at the permeable walls, and the oscillations in the velocity field are due to small amplitude time harmonic pressure waves. The physical quantities of interest are the velocity field, the amplitude of oscillation, and the penetration depth of the oscillatory wave. The analytical solution of the governing boundary value problem is obtained, and the effects of second grade fluid parameters are analyzed and discussed.

In this paper,we present the existence and uniqueness of fixed points and common fixed points for Reich and Chatterjea pairs of self-maps in complete metric ***,we study fixed point theorems for Reich and Chatterjea nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space using the Krasnoselskii-Ishikawa iteration method associated withSλand consider some applications of our results to prove the existence of solutions for nonlinear integral and nonlinear fractional differential *** also establish certain interesting examples to illustrate the usability of our results.

This work is concerned with the peristaltic transport of the Johnson-Segalman fluid in an asymmetric channel with convective boundary conditions. The mathematical modeling is based upon the conservation laws of mass, linear momentum, and energy. The resulting equations are solved after long wavelength and low Reynolds number are used. The results for the axial pressure gradient, velocity, and temperature profiles are obtained for small Weissenberg number. The expressions of the pressure gra-dient, velocity, and temperature are analyzed for various embedded parameters. Pumping and trapping phenomena are also explored.

The IEEE802.15.4 standard has been widely used in modern industry due to its several benefits for stability,scalability,and enhancement of wireless mesh *** standard uses a physical layer of binary phase-shift keying(BPSK)modulation and can be operated with two frequency bands,868 and 915 *** frequency noise could interfere with the BPSK signal,which causes distortion to the signal before its arrival at ***,filtering the BPSK signal from noise is essential to ensure carrying the signal from the sen-der to the receiver with less ***,removing signal noise in the BPSK signal is necessary to mitigate its negative sequences and increase its capability in industrial wireless sensor ***,researchers have reported a posi-tive impact of utilizing the Kalmen filter in detecting the modulated signal at the receiver side in different communication systems,including ***-while,artificial neural network(ANN)and machine learning(ML)models outper-formed results for predicting signals for detection and classification *** paper develops a neural network predictive detection method to enhance the performance of BPSK ***,a simulation-based model is used to generate the modulated signal of BPSK in the IEEE802.15.4 wireless personal area network(WPAN)***,Gaussian noise was injected into the BPSK simulation *** reduce the noise of BPSK phase signals,a recurrent neural networks(RNN)model is implemented and integrated at the receiver side to esti-mate the BPSK’s phase *** evaluated our predictive-detection RNN model using mean square error(MSE),correlation coefficient,recall,and F1-score *** result shows that our predictive-detection method is superior to the existing model due to the low MSE and correlation coefficient(R-value)metric for different signal-to-noise(SNR)*** addition,our RNN-based model scored 98.71%and 96.34%based on recall and F1-score,respectively.

Radiative heat transfer in the steady two-dimensional flow of Walters＇ B fluid with a non-uniform heat source/sink is investigated. An incompressible fluid is bounded by a stretching porous surface. The convective boundary condition is used for the thermal boundary layer problem. The relevant equations are first simplified under usual boundary layer assumptions and then transformed into a similar form by suitable transformations. Explicit series solutions of velocity and temperature are derived by the homotopy analysis method （HAM）. The dimensionless velocity and temperature gradients at the wall are calculated and discussed.

Lip-reading technologies are rapidly progressing following the breakthrough of deep *** plays a vital role in its many applications,such as:human-machine communication practices or security *** this paper,we propose to develop an effective lip-reading recognition model for Arabic visual speech recognition by implementing deep learning *** Arabic visual datasets that have been collected contains 2400 records of Arabic digits and 960 records of Arabic phrases from 24 native *** primary purpose is to provide a high-performance model in terms of enhancing the preprocessing ***,we extract keyframes from our ***,we produce a Concatenated Frame Images(CFIs)that represent the utterance sequence in one single ***,the VGG-19 is employed for visual features extraction in our proposed *** have examined different keyframes:10,15,and 20 for comparing two types of approaches in the proposed model:(1)the VGG-19 base model and(2)VGG-19 base model with batch *** results show that the second approach achieves greater accuracy:94%for digit recognition,97%for phrase recognition,and 93%for digits and phrases recognition in the test ***,our proposed model is superior to models based on CFIs input.
