Optimizing the combined horizontal and vertical accuracy of the well-known Global Digital Elevation Models(GDEMs) of various resolutions for ea.h country and region especially in Iraq’s mountainous areas is still questionable. All the three GDEMs, approximately, have the same vertical accuracy with the Root Mean Square(RMSE) of ±7.3 m, ±7.6 m and ±6.5 m via 12 fixed Ground Control Points(GCPs) for the Advanced Land Observation Satellite Phased Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar(ALOS PALSAR 12.5 m), the Shuttle Radar Topogra.hic Mission(SRTM 30 m) and the TerraSAR-X(the name of twin satellites) add-on for Digital Elevation Measurement(TanDEM-X 90 m) GDEMs respectively. Moreover, the percentage of outliers that are greater or smaller than ±10 m detection of the height extraction from both the ALOS PALSAR and SRTM Digital Elevation Models(DEMs) contains 16.7% and for TanDEM-X was 25%. In this paper,the special DEM is derived using 2123 handheld GPS points for Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Kurdistan region, Iraq. The height extraction by discarding the outliers of 58% gives the RMSE of ±8.0 m in the case of adding geoid heights(N) to the ellipsoidal heights(h) via the Earth Gravitational Model 2008(EGM2008)and ±5.6 m without adding N. It is expected that the derived DEMs will give more accurate results both horizontally and vertically in the mountainous areas when GPS observations are intensified. The horizontal accuracy is validated through extracting hierarchy stream types of the watershed map from the DEMs for higher than 100 pixels length. The ALOS PALSAR DEM extracted more numbers of stream orders than ***, based on the criteria of RMSE, outlier detection, and the number of extracted stream orders, the ALOS PALSER DEM is regarded as the optimal GDEM in comparison with the close accuracy of both the TanDEM-X and SRTM DEM.

Background: The diagnosis of Non-ST Elevated Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) is dependent on elevation of high sensitivity troponin (Hs-troponin). The current cutoff point for Hs-troponin is highly sensitive but not specific for obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD). This study aims to determine the best cutoff point for diagnosing CAD in patients presented with NSTEMI. Methods: Our study included all patients admitted as NSTEMI that underwent coronary angiography (CAG). They were grouped into two groups: A and B. Group A has obstructive CAD of 70% or more stenosis and group B with non-obstructive CAD. Patients were assessed for their demographics, clinical history, laboratory and imaging results. Using SPSS version 22, the pooled cohort of patients were analyzed at significant level 0.05 and the data were tested for significant correlations between two predetermined groups. Results: Group A comprised 87.6% of the patients and both groups had a median age of 53 years. In Group A, 91% were males, 54% diabetics, 54% hypertensives, and median Hs-troponin was 145 ng/L. While in group B, 88% were males, 39% diabetics, 60% hypertensives, and median Hs-troponin was 54 ng/L. 为了研究乳酸链球菌素和茶多酚对罗非鱼鱼糜中微生物代谢多样性的影响,制备了乳酸链球菌素和茶多酚溶液并添加到罗非鱼鱼糜中。最终,各处理组中含有的乳酸链球菌素和茶多酚的量如下:每10克罗非鱼鱼糜含乳链菌肽(0.5克、1克和2.5克);每10克罗非鱼鱼糜含茶多酚(0.1克、0.5克和0.8克)。经过一段时间后,采集样品,采用BIOLOG-Eco Plate法对样品的微生物代谢多样性进行表征。根据微生物利用不同碳源的利用特征,对以下指标进行测定和计算。最后得到了平均颜色变化率(AWCD)、h多样性指数(h)和U多样性指数。此外,还进行了主成分分析。结果表明,在1g乳酸链球菌素作用下,样品在72h内的AWCD值、U指数值和h指数、六大类碳源利用情况与对照组比较均有显著性差异,主成分分析也表明各组得到了明显区分。另一方面,0.5g和2.5g乳酸链球菌素作用组与对照组相比无显著性差异;在茶多酚试验中,0.1g、0.5g和0.8g茶多酚作用下,样品的AWCD值、U指数值和h指数以对照组相比,在72小时内无显著性差异。结果表明,乳酸链球菌素对罗非鱼鱼糜中微生物代谢多样性的作用强于茶多酚,提示其对微生物生长的影响可能更大。

为更准确地模拟基因调控网络的动力学行为,考虑采用新的两导数Runge-Kutta模拟算法。这种数值算法的特点是在格式中融入了真实解的二阶结构,使得模拟结果更为精确。与通用的经典四级四阶Runge-Kutta算法RK4相比,二级四阶两导数Runge-Kutta算法TDRK2s4具有3个优势:1)构造简单,易于编程实现;2)计算成本小,RK4每步需要计算4次非线性函数,而TDRK2s4只需要计算3次;3)存储空间小,RK4方法需要4个内级存储单元,而TDRK2s4只要2个。TDRK2s4用于模拟具有持续振荡特征的果蝇周期蛋白PER与per mRNA负反馈调控网络。与RK4相比较,对不同步长(h=1/2,1/4,1/8,1/16),TDRK2s4的误差远小于RK4的误差;而且TDRK2s4对大步长(h=1/2)的误差远小于RK4对小步长(h=1/16)的误差。对固定步长(h=1/4),随着模拟区间的延长,TDRK2s4的累积误差增长十分缓慢,而RK4的累积误差增长很快。对不同步长(h=1/2,1/4,1/8,1/16),TDRK2s4计算耗费的CPU时间也明显少于RK4。TDRK2s4的模拟效率远高于RK4。结论:当基因调控网络微分方程组右端函数的导数容易得到时,TDRK算法比传统的RK算法更适用于大步长、长时间的高效数值模拟。

The effect ofmutagenic NaN3 at concentration （0.0, 2.0 and 4.0 mM） and salinity stress at the levels （6.5, 8.5, 10.5 and 12 dS/m） on the seeds germination, callus induction and plant regeneration fi＇om stressed callus of different borage explants were investigated. The results showed that （4.0 mM） NaN3 with 4 h incubation period increased germination percentage rea.hed 83.3% rate. Moreover the responses of different explants for callus induction in the presence of different combinations from auxin and cytokines were varied and a combination of（2 mg/L ）from ea.h of BA and IAA gave high callus fresh weight rea.hed （229.6, 218.0, 237.3） for （shoot tips, cotyledon leaves and hypocotyls） respectively .Concerning to the effect of salinity stress on callus induction and plant regeneration a.high reduction in callus flesh weight and plant regeneration were observed at the high level of NaCl.

The aim of the study was to investigate effect of transport times of up to 12 h on pigs＇ welfare. An observation box was located on the 3rd floor of the vehicle. Device to measure temperature, humidity and video camera to monitor pigs＇ behaviors were fitted in the box. Eighteen measurements were performed during two seasons for 4, 8, and 12 h of transport time with three replications. Meat samples were taken from longissimus dorsi （LD） and the carcases were chilled for 24 h at ＋4 ~C for ph determination. To determine cortisol, glucose, lactate, and creatine kinase concentration levels, blood samples were collected before and after transport from 90 pigs and from 20 controls that were not transported for control purposes. To evaluate behavioural alterations, frequency of events and durations were considered. highest ph24 of 5.99 ＋ 0.29 occurred during summer at 12 h transport time. Cortisol concentrations elevated during short and decreased with an increase of transport time （P 〈 0.001）. highest and lowest glucose concentrations for winter and summer were at 8 and 12 h transport time, respectively （P 〈 0.01）. Concentrations of lactate and creatine kinase positively correlated with transport time （P 〈 0.002）. Lying, sitting, rooting and vocalization behaviours correlated with transport time （P 〈 0.009）. Certain ThI values during summer surpassed normal （〉 74） level during loading. The ph24 value correlated with transport time during summer. Lactate and creatine kinase concentrations increased with an increase in transport time but for Glucose, highest value was at 8 h transport time.

Cytokines have been in focus of scientific in for more than decade now. Analyzing their expression has enabled a better understanding of pa.hogenesis of various diseases. Moreover, they are now for beyond their stage when they were of interest for pa.hophysiological research. In the present study, we used an assay to anti-inflammatory cytokines. One hundred and thirty sera and urine from egg positive individuals and 42 samples of healthy individuals in Eldeum locality—an endemic area of S. haematobum and 28 healthy individuals from non-endemic area were tested. Concentration of IL5 and IL10 is reverse. IL5 is low in serum but high in urine before treatment and high in serum and low in urine after treatment. IL10 is high in serum, low in urine before treatment and low in serum, high in urine after treatment.

Introduction: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus2 (SARS-CoV-2) represents a major health problem worldwide. Thus, early detection and appropriate management of the virus will influence the outcome of the disease. This study aimed to investigate the epidemiological characteristics and survival outcomes of patients with COVID-19 infection in Kassala, Eastern Sudan. Methods: A cross-sectional hospital-study was conducted among patients visiting Kassala tea.hing hospital with suspicion of COVID-19 infection. A structured questionnaire was used to ga.her clinical and socio-demo- gra.hic information from COVID-19 patients. Nasopharyngeal specimens and blood samples were collected and tested to confirm the diagnosis of COVID-19 infection using RT-PCR. Results: A total of 371 patients were enrolled in the study from September 2020 to January 2021, with mean age ± SD was 42.9 ± 19.9. The prevalence of COVID-19 infection was estimated at 61.7%. The majority were males 159 (69.4%), of university-level education, 96 (49.7%), and urban residents, 175 (9.7%). The most common symptoms were fever 215 (93.9%), cough 188 (82.1%), heada.he 179 (78.2%), and shortness of brea.h 154 (67.2%). Overall all mortality was reported as 16%. Older age group with the age ≥ 70, P P = 0.020, diabetes mellitus P = 0.029 were significantly associated with high case fatality. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that older age, male gender, laboratory tests (leukocytosis, lymphopenia, low hemoglobin and high CRP) and various comorbid conditions significantly increase the disease severity and mortality. Therefore, attention should be paid to preventive measures to reduce the considerable impacts of the disease.
