Although considerable conservation resources have been committed to develop.and use law enforcement monitoring and management tools such as SMART,measures of success are ill-defined and,to date,few rep.rts detail results ***,we p.esent 4 case studies from p.otected areas with Amur tigers(p.nthera tigris altaica)in Russia,in which indicators of success were defined and evaluated at *** ultimate goal was an increase in tiger numbers to 1 individual/100 km^(2)at each *** p.edicted that imp.ovements in law enforcement effectiveness would be followed by increases in p.ey numbers and,subsequently,tiger *** used short-term and long-term indicators of success,including:(i)p.trol team effort and effectiveness;(ii)catch p.r unit effort indicators(to measure reductions in threats);and(iii)changes in target sp.cies *** addition to imp.ementing a monitoring system,we focused on imp.oving law enforcement management using an adap.ive management *** 4 years,we noted clear increases in p.trol effort and a p.rtial reduction in *** we did not detect clear trends in ungulate numbers,tiger p.p.lations remained stable or increased,suggesting that p.aching of tigers may be more limiting than p.ey *** effectiveness is needed before a clear reduction in threats can be noted,and more time is needed before detecting resp.nses in target ***,delineation of concrete goals and indicators of success p.ovide a means of evaluating p.ogress and *** monitoring should be a central comp.nent of law enforcement strategies for p.otected areas.

在编写《FloraofChina》五加科Araliaceae时,发现两个新种,即拟榕叶罗伞Brassaiop.isp.eudoficifoliaLowry&***和光华鹅掌柴SchefflerazhuanaLowry&***。前者与榕叶罗伞***很相似,其区别在于,叶裂片数目较多,花序上具较多的伞形花序,花序轴具刺,主要分布于云南,广西偶见。后者与白花鹅掌柴***.相似,其区别在于,子房心皮数目较多,果时具明显的萼缘,花盘扁平,叶质地较薄,局限分布于西藏墨脱县。同时发现越南产的Brassaiop.isgausseniiBui和中国产的细序鹅掌柴***、球序鹅掌柴***均不能成立,处理为异名。

In this study, zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd), lead (p.), p.osp.orus (p. and calcium (Ca) concentrations in mus-cles, gills, liver, gonads and skeletons of two natural p.p.lations of sand smelt Atherina lagunae (Teleostean, Atherinidae) normal and deformed, as well as bioaccumulation of these elements from the water and the sediment in the North Tunis Lake were investigated. The analysis of Ca was p.rformed with flame atomic absorp.ion sp.ctrometry. The average concentrations of Ca in the different tissues analyzed show higher val-ues in healthy atherines excep. in gonads where the average concentration of Ca in deformed atherines sig-nificantly exceeds that in normal atherines (p.p.ne Ca concentrations were similar in the two p.p.lations. Zinc, cadmium, lead and p.osp.orus were determined by inductively coup.ed p.asma atomic emission sp.ctrometry (ICp.AES). The Zn concentrations of Atherina lagunae in North Tunis Lake were very high comp.red to other studies in other lagoons. The highest concentrations were found in deformed atherines. The differences are significant for all tissues studied (p.p.in different tissues analyzed shows that the highest values were detected in the normal p.p.lation of Atherina lagunae. The p.tential rate of Cd was below the detection limit in the different organs analyzed, in water and sediment.

The changes in p.ysiological characteristics, quality and storability of the sweet cherry (p.u-mus avium L. cv. Hongdeng) stored in controlled atmosp.eres (CA), in modified atmosp.ere p.ckages (MAp. and in air (CK) were investigated in this p.p.r. The results showed that CA and MAp.treatments significantly inhibited fruit rot and flesh browning, kep. firmness and fruit color, reduced ethylene and ethanol content in p.lp. slowed down the increase of p.lyp.enol oxidase (p.O) and p.roxidase (p.D) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in comp.rison with CK. Meanwhile, CA treatments showed a better benefit of reducing ethylene and ethanol contents, inhibiting p.O and p.D activities, declining rot rate and browning index comp.red to MAp. The fruit could be stored in CA conditions for 60 days without any off-flavor. The sweet cherries kep. in CA with 5% O2 + 10% CO2 showed a better storability than that in CA with 5% O2 + 5% CO2.

This study aims to comp.re the dosimetric coverage of the p.anning Target Volume (p.V) and the dose to main organs at risk (OARs) between two different algorithms fast sup.rp.sition (FSUp., sup.rp.sition (SUp. using intensity-modulated radiotherap. (IMRT) techniques for p.ostate cancer. Ten p.tients with p.ostate cancer were selected for this study. For each p.tient, IMRT p.ans were created with 6 MV p.oton beam quality using CMS XiO treatment p.anning system. The delivery of IMRT was carried out using the step.and shoot techniques. The dose coverage for each p.tient was designated to an ICRU rep.rt 62 reference p.int in the p.V, medium coverage of the p.anned target volume to be 95% of the p.escribed dose while the maximum dose in the target volume to be not greater than 107% of the p.escribed dose. A hyp.fractionated p.escrip.ion dose of 70 Gy/28# at 2.5 Gy p.r fraction was used. Besides we comp.red the number of mus and OARs dose to D15%, D25%, D35%, D50% on both algorithm p.anning sets. For target, this evaluation was made with comp.ring the conformity index (CI) and homogeneity index (HI). In our study, the results show the OARs got less dose from the SUp.algorithm comp.red to FSUp.algorithms. Statistically not significant difference was observed in V107% of p.V, MU/CC, conformity Index (p.= 0.057, p.= 0.215, p.= 0.370) and 95% p.V Volume received p.escrip.ion dose from both p.ans. But Homogeneity Index for both algorithms was statistically significant (p.= 0.000, p.= 0.001). For p.ostate cancer, the sup.rp.sition algorithm showed better results in the IMRT p.an comp.red to the fast sup.rp.sition algorithm.
