Objective:To carry out the genetic characterization and evolutionary analysis of three avian orthoavulavirus 1(AOAV-1)isolates from poultry workers with respiratory ***:Using Illumina Mi Seq,whole-genome sequencing was carried out to assess the evolutionary dynamics of three AOAV-1 isolates.A phylogenetic and comparative analysis of all coding genes was done using bioinformatics ***:Phylogenetic analysis and genetic distance estimation suggested a close relationship among human-and avian-originated velogenic strains of genotypeⅩⅢ,sub-genotypeⅩⅢ.*** substitutions in the significant structural and biological motifs were exclusively identified in the human-originated ***:To our knowledge,this is the first report of a velogenic AOAV-1 isolate from natural infection of the human upper respiratory *** findings highlight the evolution and zoonotic potential of velogenic AOAV-1 in a disease endemic setting.

The controlled and homogeneous flow of dry granular powders through hoppers is essential for applications,namely,packaging of food grains,fertilizers and additive manufacturing processes such as directed energy deposition for better product *** of the major issues encountered in the granular flows through hoppers is flow stagnation due to the well-known arching ***-assisted granular flow through hoppers is one of the mechanisms used for better mass flow *** this work,the influence of external mechanical vibration on the powder flow is investigated experimentally and using discrete element ***,the mass flow rate through the hopper increases with an increase in vibration amplitude and then decreases,signifying the existence of an optimal amplitude of *** DEM simulations explained the underlying mechanisms for the existence of an optimal amplitude of vibration corresponding to the maximum mass flow rate.A range of vibration amplitudes from 0 mm to 3.5 mm is used to study the flow behaviour;the maximum flow of around 33 g/s to 35 g/s is observed for 0.75 mm to 1.25 mm vibration amplitude for the hopper-particle combination studied in this *** work also reports the influence of vibration frequency,hopper,and particle dimension on the flow *** research facilitates the effective use of mechanical vibration to enhance powder flow that can further be extended to non-spherical and multi-material particles.

In this article,multiple attribute decision-making problems are solved using the vague normal set(VNS).It is possible to generalize the vague set(VS)and q-rung fuzzy set(FS)into the q-rung vague set(VS).A log q-rung normal vague weighted averaging(log q-rung NVWA),a log q-rung normal vague weighted geometric(log q-rung NVWG),a log generalized q-rung normal vague weighted averaging(log Gq-rung NVWA),and a log generalized q-rungnormal vagueweightedgeometric(logGq-rungNVWG)operator are discussed in this *** is provided of the scoring function,accuracy function and operational laws of the log q-rung *** algorithms underlying these functions are also described.A numerical example is provided to extend the Euclidean distance and the Humming ***,idempotency,boundedness,commutativity,and monotonicity of the log q-rung VS are examined as they facilitate recognizing the optimal alternative more quickly and help clarify *** chose five anemia patients with four types of symptoms including seizures,emotional shock or hysteria,brain cause,and high fever,who had either retrograde amnesia,anterograde amnesia,transient global amnesia,post-traumatic amnesia,or infantile *** numbers q are used to express the results of the *** demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the models we are investigating,we compare several existing models with those that have been developed.

Photoelectric displacement sensors rarely possess a perfectly linear transfer characteristic, but always have some degree of non-linearity over their range of operation. If the sensor output is nonlinear, it will produce a whole assortment of problems. This paper presents a method to compensate the nonlinearity of the photoelectric displacement sensor based on the extreme learning machine （ELM） method which significantly reduces the amount of time needed to train a neural network with the output voltage of the optical displacement sensor and the measured input displacement to eliminate the nonlinear errors in the training process. The use of this proposed method was demonstrated through computer simulation with the experimental data of the sensor. The results revealed that the proposed method compensated the presence of nonlinearity in the sensor with very low training time, lowest mean squared error （MSE） value, and better linearity. This research work involved less computational complexity, and it behaved a good performance for nonlinearity compensation for the photoelectric displacement sensor and has a good application prospect.

Polymer composites reinforced with the biofibers are found to have improved applications in many fields and also they can reduce the environmental effect. In this work, caryota-a new natural fiber for polymer composites is fabricated and their tensile, flexural and impact properties are estimated to be used in economical and lightweight load carrying structures. Laminates at different weight fraction (wt%) of 10 wt%, 20 wt%, 25 wt%, 30 wt%, 35 wt%, 40 wt% and 45 wt% are manufactured using a compression molding technique. Results asserted that the unidirectional arrangement having 40 wt% fiber posses good properties. Also the dynamic characteristics such as natural frequency and damping study are carried out for different wt% of unidirectional caryota fiber reinforced composite laminates by ex? perimental modal analysis. From this study, it has been asserted that by using the caryota fiber reinforced polyester composites, the traditional synthetic fiber can be replaced especially in automobile sector. If the caryota fiber reinforced composite material is applied properly, then its application fields will be improved.

Pomegranate rind is abundantly available as a waste material. Pomegranate Rind Extract (PRE) can be applied to cotton fabrics for its natural colours, as a mordanting agent and also for imparting certain functional properties such as fire retardancy and antimicrobial properties. This paper reviews the feasibility of Pomegranate Rind Extract to improve the functional properties of cellulosic fabrics. Studies show that varying concentrations and higher temperatures that were used to apply the extract on the fabric, resulted in enhanced functional properties. At a particular concentration, the treated fabric showed a 15 times lower burning rate in comparison with the control fabric. Also, antimicrobial efficacy has been observed against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Due to the natural colouring material, it can be used as a natural dye on cotton material. The fire retardancy of pomegranate rind extract was tested on jute material under varying alkalinity. Research has indicated that pomegranate rind extract could be used to dye polyamide as well. The rubbing and wash fastness of the finished fabrics is good. The light fastness was fair, and its antibacterial efficiency against tested bacteria was good.

The effect of reinforcing natural fiber in the form of braided yarn woven fabric on mechanical properties of polymer composite was investigated. The results of braided yarn fabric composites were compared with the conventional yarn fabric composite and random oriented intimately mixed short fiber composites for the same percentage of fiber weight. The effect of intra-ply hybridization, by keeping two different natural fiber yams along two different directions of a woven fabric, on mechanical properties of the woven fabric composite was also analyzed. Natural fiber braided yarn fabric reinforcement significantly increased the mechanical properties of the composites compared with that of the conventional woven fabric and short fiber reinforcements. Intra-ply hybridization of two different natural fibers improved the mechanical properties of the conventional woven fabric composite while it could not enhance the properties of the braided fabric composite. The improvement in impact property is very high compared to tensile and flexural properties due to the braided yarn fabric reinforcement.

Two-dimensional(2 D)titanium carbide(MXene)nanosheets exhibited excellent conductivity,flexibility,high volumetric capacity,hydrophilic surface,thermal stability,***,it has been exploited in various ***,we report synthesis of mixed phase 2 D MXene as a catalytic material for simultaneous detection of important biomolecules such as ascorbic acid(AA),dopamine(DA)and uric acid(UA).Crystalline structure,surface morphology and elemental composition of mixed phase titanium carbide(Ti-C-T_(x))MXene(T_(x)=-F,-OH,or-O)nanosheets were confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEM),high-re solution scanning electron microscopy(HR-SEM)and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)mapping ***,Ti-C-T_(x) modified glassy carbon electrode(GCE)was prepared and its electrochemical properties are studied by cyclic voltammetry(CV)and diffe rential pulse voltammetry(DPV).It was found that Ti-C-T_(x) modified GCE(Ti-C-T_(x)/GCE)showed excellent electrocatalytic activity and separated oxidation peaks of important biomolecules such as AA(at 0.01 V),DA(at 0.21 V)and UA(at 0.33 V).Also,Ti-C-T_(x)/GCE sensor is enabled their simultaneous detection in physiological pH from 100 to 1000μM for AA,0.5-50μM for DA and 0.5-4μM&100-1500μM for *** limit of detection’s(LOD)was estimated as 4.6μM,0.06μM and 0.075μM for AA,DA and UA,***,real sample analysis indicated that spiked AA,DA and UA can be determined accurately by Ti-C-T_(x)/GCE with the recovery ratio in the range between 100.5%-103%in human urine *** proposed Ti-C-T_(x) modified electrode exhibited good stability,selectivity and reproducibility as an electrochemical sensor for the detection of AA,DA and UA molecules.

The fate of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and their interactions with aggregates of forest soils are not completely understood. Our objectives here were to quantify the distribution of different POPs in water-stable aggregate fractions and to study their influence on soil organic carbon (Corg) content. Soil samples were taken from a forest-site, Gogerddan (G) and a semi-rural site, Hazelrigg (H) in Great Britain, from 0-2 and 2-5 cm and 0-4 and 8-12 cm soil depth, respectively. POPs analyzed were PAHs, PCBs, total DDT, PBDEs and HCB. The bulk soil analysis showed that the concentration of POPs was significantly higher (p ≤ 0.05) in forest site G than in semi-rural site H, particularly at the surface soil levels compared to the subsurface soil depths in both sites. Total concentrations of PCBs and PAHs of both sites were positively correlated with Corg contents. POPs concentrations and Corg, Nt contents of forest site G were significantly higher (p ≤ 0.05) in water-stable macro aggregates (>0.25, >1, >2 mm) than the micro aggregates (>0.053 mm). The POP concentrations of all aggregate fractions after normalizing to their respective Corg content were increased due higher contamination and strong sorption by Corg. These results showed a strong effect of Corg on the partitioning of organic pollutants to soil aggregate size fractions. The present study affirms the ecological significance of forest soils act as a potential sink of POPs. In summary, our results suggest that aggregate fractions may promote soil C storage and act as a potential POP sink in surface soil without increasing their concentration in the aggregate fraction of subsoil.

The effect of pre-treatment of dewatered sludge using different nitrite concentrations and p H for microbial fuel cell(MFC) application was investigated. The results show that the addition of nitrite was feasible to increase the solubilization rate of the sludge and may reduce mass transfer limitation at the anode. This helped the MFC to reach higher voltage and to generate more power. The higher free nitrous acid(FNA) concentration under the acidic condition helped to increase sludge solubilization. However, under an alkaline condition, during which the FNA concentration was relatively low, the solubilization of the sludge was higher. The highest voltage and power density produced was 390 mV and 153 mW/m^2, respectively, with the addition of nitrite at 100 mg-N/L and pH 9. Furthermore,it was found that elevated levels of FNA could inhibit electrogenic bacteria thus reducing power generation.
