Tick-borne encephalitis virus(TBEV)is an important tick-borne pathogen that poses as a serious public health *** coverage and immunogenicity of the currently available vaccines against TBEV are relatively low;therefore,it is crucial to develop novel and effective vaccines against *** present study describes a novel strategy for the assembly of virus-like particles(VLPs)by co-expressing the structural(core/prM/E)and non-structural(NS2B/NS3Pro)proteins of *** efficacy of the VLPs was subsequently evaluated in C57BL/6 mice,and the resultant IgG serum could neutralize both Far-Eastern and European subtypes of *** findings indicated that the VLP-based vaccine elicited the production of cross-subtype reactive *** VLPs provided protection to mice lacking the type I interferon receptor(IFNAR^(-/-))against lethal TBEV challenge,with undetectable viral load in brain and intestinal ***,the group that received the VLP vaccine did not exhibit significant pathological changes and the inflammatory factors were significantly suppressed compared to the control *** with the VLP vaccine induced the production of multiple-cytokine-producing antiviral CD4+T cells in vivo,including TNF-α^(+),IL-2^(+),and IFN-γ^(+)T ***,the findings suggest that noninfectious VLPs can serve as a potentially safe and effective vaccine candidate against diverse subtypes of TBEV.

Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)is the major cause of bronchiolitis and pneumonia in young children and the *** are currently no approved RSV-specific therapeutic small molecules *** high-throughput antiviral screening,we identified an oral drug,the prenylation inhibitor lonafarnib,which showed potent inhibition of the RSV fusion *** exhibited antiviral activity against both the RSV A and B genotypes and showed low cytotoxicity in HEp-2 and human primary bronchial epithelial cells(HBEC).Time-of-addition and pseudovirus assays demonstrated that lonafarnib inhibits RSV entry,but has farnesyltransferase-independent antiviral ***-electron microscopy revealed that lonafarnib binds to a triple-symmetric pocket within the central cavity of the RSV F metastable pre-fusion *** at the RSV F sites interacting with lonafarnib showed resistance to lonafarnib but remained fully sensitive to the neutralizing monoclonal antibody ***,lonafarnib dose-dependently reduced the replication of RSV in BALB/c ***,lonafarnib could be a potential fusion inhibitor for RSV infection.

It has been demonstrated that incorporating real-time observational data into forecast models significantly enhances the accuracy of both shortterm weather forecasts(Bauer et al., 2015;Bannister, 2017)and long-term climate predictions(Karspeck et al., 2013;Mochizuki et al., 2016).

The Earth's magnetosphere is a region occupied by many artificial satellites, and also is a region that spacecraft must cruise during the deep-space exploration. In this sense, the Earth's magnetosphere is closely related to human activity and is a candidate for us to expand our living space. Generally, the Earth's magnetosphere can preclude most energetic particles from the Sun and the interstellar space, effectively protecting human beings on the Earth from being attacked and thus making the Earth to be a habitable planet. However, in some conditions, the Earth's magnetosphere becomes dynamic and energetic, and consequently may damage the artificial satellites, threaten the astronauts' health, and disrupt the ground infrastructure, which leads to a decline in the national economy. Therefore, investigating how energy is injected into the magnetosphere, how it is transported in the magnetosphere, and how it is ultimately dissipated in the magnetosphere are the key issues in space physics. Targeting these key issues, in this paper, we review the recent progress on them. Particularly, we introduce the relevant scientific questions,models, methods, and spacecraft missions, for better building a physical link among the energy injection, transport, and dissipation in the magnetosphere, present an energy chain of the magnetosphere, reveal the relationship between such energy chain and the space weather events, and discuss the forecasting and warning methods for energetic-particle events in the magnetosphere. The magnetospheric energy chain discussed in this paper will help us reveal the mechanisms of space weather events, establish the models of space environment, and forecast the disastrous space weather events.

目的：利用锥形束CT分析颞下颌关节盘不可复性前移位患者髁突骨改变的影像学特点，以期为临床提供参考。方法选取2010年1月至2012年12月于北京大学口腔医学院·口腔医院颞下颌关节病口颌面疼痛诊治中心就诊的≤30岁临床诊断为单侧颞下颌关节盘不可复性前移位、且患病时间在1年以内的患者，共204例。由两名评价者分别根据锥形束CT，判断患者双侧髁突骨质的骨关节病表现：骨皮质模糊、表面粗糙不平（Ⅰ型）、表面缺损破坏（Ⅱ型）、形态改变（磨平、短小畸形）（Ⅲ型）、骨质硬化（Ⅳ型）、骨质增生（Ⅴ型）、囊样变（Ⅵ型）；其中Ⅰ、Ⅱ型为早期骨关节病表现。分析颞下颌关节盘不可复性移位患者骨关节病锥形束CT表现与性别、年龄、患病时间及开口度的关系。结果204例患者的症状侧关节中124侧（60.8%）有骨关节病表现，其中早期骨关节病表现的检出率为47.1%（96/204），显著高于对侧[10.8%（22/204）]（P〈0.05）。Logistics回归分析显示，患病时间（P＝0.000）和开口度（P＝0.002）与早期骨关节病表现显著相关，患病时间越长，开口度越大，越可能出现骨质改变。患病时间＞1个月的患者，其早期骨关节病表现的检出率从患病时间≤1个月的25%快速上升到70%以上。结论颞下颌关节盘不可复性前移位与髁突骨关节病表现密切相关；患病时间＞1个月后，早期骨关节病的检出率显著增大；开口度越大，早期骨关节病的可能性也越大。

The low-dose X-ray induced long afterglow near infrared（NIR） luminescence from Cr3+doped Zn1-xCdxGa2O4spinel solid solutions was *** structure analysis shows the good formation of Zn1-xCdxGa2O4spinel solid solutions,which possesses a cubic spinel structure with Fd3m space *** formation of Zn1-xCdxGa2O4spinel solid solutions induces the obvious increase of long afterglow near infrared luminescence excited by low-dose X-ray,When the content of doped Cd2+reaches 0.1,the low-dose X-ray induced long afterglow NIR luminescence is the *** importantly,only 5 s Xray irradiation can induce more than 6 h NIR afterglow emission,of which the afterglow luminescent intensity is still 5 times stronger than the background intensity after 6 *** thermoluminescent results show that under the 5 s exposure of X-ray,the trap density of Zn0.9Cd0.1Ga2O4:Cr3+is much higher than that of ZnGa2O4:Cr3+.The replacement of Cd2+ions with large radius at Zn2+sites causes the increase of de fects and dislocations,which results in the obvious increase of trap co *** the addition of high-z number elements Cd2+would enhance the X-ray absorption of the solid solutions,which thus can be easily excited by low-dose ***0.9Cd0.1Ga2O4:1%Cr3+solid solution is a potential candidate of lowdose X-ray induced long afterglow luminescent materials.
