Nowadays,one of the most important difficulties is the protection and privacy of confidential *** address these problems,numerous organizations rely on the use of cryptographic techniques to secure data from illegal activities and *** cryptographic ciphers use the non-linear component of block cipher to ensure the robust encryption process and lawful decoding of plain data during the decryption *** the designing of a secure substitution box(S-box),non-linearity(NL)which is an algebraic property of the S-box has great ***,the main focus of cryptographers is to achieve the S-box with a high value of *** this suggested study,an algebraic approach for the construction of 16×16 S-boxes is provided which is based on the fractional transformation Q(z)=1/α(z)^(m)+β(mod257)and finite *** technique is only applicable for the even number exponent in the range(2-254)that are not multiples of ***,we choose a quadratic fractional transformation,swap each missing element with repeating elements,and acquire the initial *** the second stage,a special permutation of the symmetric group S256 is utilized to construct the final S-box,which has a higher NL score of 112.75 than the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)S-box and a lower linear probability score of *** addition,a tabular and graphical comparison of various algebraic features of the created S-box with many other S-boxes from the literature is provided which verifies that the created S-box has the ability and is good enough to withstand linear and differential *** different analyses,it is ensured that the proposed S-boxes are better than as compared to the existing *** these S-boxes can be utilized in the security of the image data and the text data.

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that is ranked among the top 10 causes of death by the world health *** the last few years,an alarming increase is observed worldwide with a 70%rise in the disease since 2000 and an 80%rise in male *** untreated,it results in complications of many vital organs of the human body which may lead to *** detection of diabetes is a task of signiﬁcant importance to start timely *** study introduces a methodology for the classiﬁcation of diabetic and normal people using an ensemble machine learning model and feature fusion of Chi-square and principal component *** ensemble model,logistic tree classiﬁer(LTC),is proposed which incorporates logistic regression and extra tree classiﬁer through a soft voting *** are also performed using several well-known machine learning algorithms to analyze their performance including logistic regression,extra tree classiﬁer,AdaBoost,Gaussian naive Bayes,decision tree,random forest,and k nearest *** addition,several experiments are carried out using principal component analysis(PCA)and Chi-square(Chi-2)fea-tures to analyze the inﬂuence of feature selection on the performance of machine learning classiﬁ*** indicate that Chi-2 features show high performance than both PCA features and original ***,the highest accuracy is obtained when the proposed ensemble model LTC is used with the proposed fea-ture fusion framework-work which achieves a 0.85 accuracy score which is the highest of the available approaches for diabetes *** addition,the statis-tical T-test proves the statistical signiﬁcance of the proposed approach over other approaches.

There are numerous application areas of computing similarity between process *** includes finding similar models from a repository,controlling redundancy of process models,and finding corresponding activities between a pair of process *** similarity between two process models is computed based on their similarity between labels,structures,and execution *** attempts have been made to develop similarity techniques between activity labels,as well as their execution ***,a notable problem with the process model similarity is that two process models can also be similar if there is a structural variation between ***,neither a benchmark dataset exists for the structural similarity between process models nor there exist an effective technique to compute structural *** that end,we have developed a large collection of process models in which structural changes are handcrafted while preserving the semantics of the ***,we have used a machine learning-based approach to compute the similarity between a pair of process models having structural and label ***,we have evaluated the proposed approach using our generated collection of process models.

Genomic prediction is an effective way to accelerate the rate of agronomic trait improvement in *** methods typically use linear regression models with clear assumptions;such methods are unable to capture the complex relationships between genotypes and ***-linear models(e.g.,deep neural networks)have been proposed as a superior alternative to linear models because they can capture complex non-additive *** we introduce a deep learning(DL)method,deep neural network genomic prediction(DNNGP),for integration of multi-omics data in *** trained DNNGP on four datasets and compared its performance with methods built with five classic models:genomic best linear unbiased prediction(GBLUP);two methods based on a machine learning(ML)framework,light gradient boosting machine(LightGBM)and support vector regression(SVR);and two methods based on a DL framework,deep learning genomic selection(DeepGS)and deep learning genome-wide association study(DLGWAS).DNNGP is novel in five ***,it can be applied to a variety of omics data to predict ***,the multilayered hierarchical structure of DNNGP dynamically learns features from raw data,avoiding overfitting and improving the convergence rate using a batch normalization layer and early stopping and rectified linear activation(rectified linear unit)***,when small datasets were used,DNNGP produced results that are competitive with results from the other five methods,showing greater prediction accuracy than the other methods when large-scale breeding data were ***,the computation time required by DNNGP was comparable with that of commonly used methods,up to 10 times faster than ***,hyperparameters can easily be batch tuned on a local *** with GBLUP,LightGBM,SVR,DeepGS and DLGWAS,DNNGP is superior to these existing widely used genomic selection(GS)***,DNNGP can generate robust assessments from diverse datasets,including omics data

Drilling is one of the most challenging and expensive processes in hydrocarbon extraction and geothermal well *** faced during drilling can increase the non-productive time(NPT)greatly,resulting in inflating the drilling cost and also pose a safety *** of the main problems faced during drilling that limits the life of drilling equipment and tools and decreases the overall productivity of the system is drilling *** vibrations can be categorized into three modes:axial,lateral,and ***-slip vibrations are a type of torsional vibration in which the bottom hole assembly(BHA)periodically stops to rotate followed by a spike in the bottom hole *** paper provides a comprehensive review of techniques used to control and mitigate torsional vibration with an emphasis on stick-slip.A brief introduction to drillstring and friction modeling is presented followed by a concise summary of passive control techniques to control *** the focus is shifted to an up-to-date review of active control and machine learning for stick-slip control and *** paper ultimately highlights the importance of adapting novel control and mitigation concepts to improve stick slip detection and improve the overall drilling process.A unique solution is insufficient to control a complex process such as drilling,but integration of various techniques has been found promising.

Deaf people or people facing hearing issues can communicate using sign language(SL),a visual *** works based on rich source language have been proposed;however,the work using poor resource language is still *** other SLs,the visuals of the Urdu Language are *** study presents a novel approach to translating Urdu sign language(UrSL)using the UrSL-CNN model,a convolutional neural network(CNN)architecture specifically designed for this *** existingworks that primarily focus on languageswith rich resources,this study addresses the challenge of translating a sign language with limited *** conducted experiments using two datasets containing 1500 and 78,000 images,employing a methodology comprising four modules:data collection,pre-processing,categorization,and *** enhance prediction accuracy,each sign image was transformed into a greyscale image and underwent noise *** analysis with machine learning baseline methods(support vectormachine,GaussianNaive Bayes,randomforest,and k-nearest neighbors’algorithm)on the UrSL alphabets dataset demonstrated the superiority of UrSL-CNN,achieving an accuracy of ***,our model exhibited superior performance in Precision,Recall,and F1-score *** work not only contributes to advancing sign language translation but also holds promise for improving communication accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments.

Ultra-low power transceiver design is proposed for wireless sensor node used in the wireless sensor network（WSN）.Typically,each sensor node contains a transceiver so it is required that both hardware and software designs of WSN node must take care of energy consumption during all modes of operation including active/sleep modes so that the operational life of each node can be increased in order to increase the lifetime of *** current declared size of the wireless sensor node is of millimeter order,excluding the power source and crystal *** have proposed a new 2.4 GHz transceiver that has five blocks namely XO,PLL,PA,LNA and *** proposed transceiver incorporates less number of low-drop outs（LDOs）*** size of the transceiver is reduced by decreasing the area of beneficiary components up to 0.41 mm;of core area in such a way that some functions are optimally distributed among other *** proposed design is smaller in size and consumes less power,<1 mW,compared to other *** operating voltage has also been reduced to 1 *** transceiver is most efficient and will be fruitful for the wireless networks as it has been designed by considering modern requirements.
