Shoot density, standing crop （above- and below-ground biomass） and habitat of salt marsh grass Porteresia coarctata were investigated along the coast of Bakkhali estuary, Cox＇s Bazar, Bangladesh from January to December 2006. Shoot density of P. coarctata was influenced by season and was found to be higher （〉2 500 shoots/m2） in post-monsoon and minimal in monsoon season; plants were particularly active in vegetative propagation during pre-monsoon. Above-ground biomass was greater along the protected coast compared with the exposed one in this estuary. Below-ground biomass was higher （7.75-269.53 g DW/m2） than that above ground （2.20-114.75 g DW/m2）. Standing crops ofP. coarctata showed a negative relationship （R=-0.77; P〈0.05） with sedimentation rate, while seasonal activity influenced sedimentation. The recorded sedimentation rate was lower （6.09 mg/（cm2·d）） in pre-monsoon and highest （14.55 mg/（cm2·d）） in monsoon season. The mean value of pore water salinity was higher （34.25±65.05） during post-monsoon and lowest （18.0±3.71） in monsoon season. The soil was sandy clay in this P. coarctata bed; it consisted of 86% sand, 13% clay and 1% silt. Soil organic matter dropped during the monsoon season （0.78%-0.67%） and was highest （（2.17±1.42）%-（2.3±1.47）%） during post-monsoon, probably owing to accumulation of decomposed peat on the marsh surface. The mean pore water NH4-N concentration ranged from 2.444-1.65 to 3.33±1.82 μg/L, with a minimum air temperature of 22.09℃ in post-monsoon and a maximum of 31.16℃ in pre-monsoon. Variations of physico-chemical parameters in the soil, water, and climate governed biological parameters of P. coarctata in the Bakkhali estuary, and were comparable with estuarine environments elsewhere.

Canola oil and light cycle oil （LCO） blends were co-hydrotreated over a commercial hydrotreating catalyst （NiMo/Al2O3） to produce diesel fuel with a green diesel component. High hydrodeoxygenation, hydrodesul- phurization and hydrodenitrogenation catalytic activities were achieved for all three feedstocks tested in the temperature range of 350-380℃ with a hydrogen pressure of 7 MPa and a gas/oil ratio of 800 nL/L. The hydrocrack- ing conversion of the 360℃ ＋ materials in the feedstocks increased by 5% and 15% when 5 and 7.5 wt-% canola oil was added to the LCO, respectively. Compared to the pure LCO, the cetane index of the diesel product formed from hydrotreating the two canola oil-LCO blends increased by 2.5 and 4, respectively. Due to the higher hydrogen requirement to crack and deoxygenate the triglycerides contained in the canola oil, a higher hydrogen consumption was needed to hydrotreat the canola oil-LCO blends.

Phaeocystis globosa is a harmful algal bloom(HAB)species *** modified clay(MC)to control HABs and to mitigate their adverse effects is currently a commonly used method in *** this paper,the effects of oxidized composite modified clay(OXI-MC)on *** were studied from different *** results show that the OXI-MC could effectively remove *** and inhibit both the growth of residual algal cells and the formation of new *** *** algal biomass removal efficiencies after 3 h reached 90%at a dose of 0.1 g/L,and the number of colonies with different particle sizes was greatly *** with those of the control,the superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,catalase(CAT)activity,and malondialdehyde(MDA)content of the residual algae significantly increased,indicating that OXI-MC caused oxidative stress in the algal *** addition,we evaluated the effects of OXI-MC on the photosynthesis of residual microalgae and found that the maximal photochemical efficiency of photosystem II(PSII)under dark adaptation(F v/F m)and actual photochemical efficiency of PSII(ФPSII)decreased,severely damaging the photosynthesis efficiency,implying that OXI-MC effected the photosynthesis system of *** results of this study clarify that OXI-MC could remove the most of algal cells and break up the colonies of *** by collision,flocculation,and releasing active substances,as well as inhibit effectively the growth and colony formation of residual *** by causing oxidative stress,reducing photosynthesis activity,accelerating the degradation of polysaccharides,and inhibiting the formation of colonies.

Modified clay(MC),an effective material used for the emergency elimination of algal blooms,can rapidly reduce the biomass of harmful algal blooms(HABs)via *** that,MC can still control bloom population through indirect effects such as oxidative stress,whichwas initially proposed to be related to programmedcell death(PCD)at molecular *** further study theMC induced cell death in residual bloom organisms,especially identifying PCD process,we studied the physiological state of the residual Prorocentrum *** experimental results showed that flocculation changed the physiological state of the residual cells,as evidenced by growth inhibition and increased reactive oxygen species ***,this research provides biochemical and ultrastructural evidence showing that MC induces PCD in *** changes were observed,and increased caspase-like activity,externalization of phosphatidylserine and DNA fragmentation were detected in MC-treated groups and *** the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway was activated in both MC-treated ***,the features of MC-induced PCD in a unicellular organism were summarized and its concentration dependent manner was *** our preliminary results elucidate the mechanism through which MC can further control HABs by inducing PCD and suggest a promising application of PCD in bloom control.

We propose a novel indoor positioning algorithm based on the received signal strength(RSS) fingerprint. The proposed algorithm can be divided into three steps, an offline phase at which an advanced clustering(AC) strategy is used, an online phase of approximate localization at which cluster matching is used, and an online phase of precise localization with kernel ridge regression. Specifically, after offline fingerprint collection and similarity measurement, we employ an AC strategy based on the K-medoids clustering algorithm using additional reference points that are geographically located at the outer cluster boundary to enrich the data of each cluster. During the approximate localization, RSS measurements are compared with the cluster radio maps to determine to which cluster the target most likely belongs. Both the Euclidean distance of the RSSs and the Hamming distance of the coverage vectors between the observations and training records are explored for cluster matching. Then, a kernel-based ridge regression method is used to obtain the ultimate positioning of the target. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated in two typical indoor environments, and compared with those of state-of-the-art algorithms. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed algorithm in terms of positioning accuracy and complexity.

Objective:To study callus induction from different explants(internode,leaf,root)and in vitro plantlets propagation from medicinally important plant Achyranthes aspera ***:Sterilized explants were prepared by uning 0.1%HgCl_2 and 0.5%Bavistin and callus was obtained when cultured onto Murashige Skoog's(MS)medium by using different concentrations and combination of 2,***,IAA,IBA with 3%sucrose and 0.8%*** callus was immediately transferred to MS medium containing at different concentrations of phytohormones for shootlets and rootlets induction ***:Sterilization treatment of 0.1%HgCl_*** 2-3 min and Bavistin 0.5%for 10-12 min showed the highest percentage of asepsis and survival *** induction of callus was obtained from a combination of 2.0 mg/L 2,4-D and 0.5 mg/L NAA from *** shootlets number(4.83±0.l7)and length(3.8±0.16)cm were observed on full strength MS medium when fortified with BAP 4.0 mg/L and KIN 0.5 mg/*** efforts of BAP 10 mg/L and NAA 0.5 mg/L on full strength MS medium showed highest leaf number(6.77±0.94).In vitro raised shoots were allowed to root on different strengths of MS medium fortified with IAA and IBA at different ***,3.0 mg/L IBA was enabled to induce maximum rootlets number(10.0±9.82)on full strength MS ***,regenerated shoots with well developed roots were successfully subjected to hardening process and were *** survived plantlets showed 66.67%survival frequency without any morphological ***:The results demonstrated that different explants were good source of callus induction,morphology analysis as well as indirect plantlets regeneration.

目的分析多系统萎缩小脑型(MSA-C)影像学的特定参数对临床诊断与鉴别的作用。方法对陕西省人民医院2021年1月—2024年10月收治的34例MSA-C患者脑桥体积等影像学资料进行测量,并与进行性核上性眼肌麻痹(PSP)组9例、脊髓小脑性共济失调(SCA)组8例、正常组32例进行对比。结果MSA-C组与PSP组、正常组在脑桥体积方面差异有统计学意义(P0.008 3);PSP组与SCA组、正常组在脑桥体积方面差异无统计学意义(P>0.008 3);SCA组与正常组在脑桥体积方面差异有统计学意义(P<0.008 3)。受试者曲线(ROC)提示脑桥体积在诊断MSA-C的截断值为8.66 cm^(3)(AUC为0.972,敏感度为94.12%,特异度为100%);鉴别MSA-C与PSP的截断值为8.66 cm^(3)(AUC为0.961,敏感度为94.1%,特异度为100%);鉴别MSA-C与SCA的截断值为6.79 cm^(3)(AUC为0.783,敏感度为52.94%,特异度为100%)。结论脑桥体积作为评估脑桥萎缩最客观的指标,具有对MSA-C的诊断及鉴别价值。
