The demand of high-performance thin-film-shaped deformable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding devices is increasing for the next generation of wearable and miniaturized soft *** highly reflective conductive materials can effectively shield EMI,they prevent deformation of the devices owing to rigidity and generate secondary electromagnetic pollution ***,soft and stretchable EMI shielding thin film devices with absorption-dominant EMI shielding behavior is *** devices consist of liquid metal(LM)layer and LM grid-patterned layer separated by a thin elastomeric film,fabricated by leveraging superior adhesion of aerosol-deposited LM on *** devices demonstrate high electromagnetic shielding effectiveness(SE)(SE_(T) of up to 75 dB)with low reflectance(SER of 1.5 dB at the resonant frequency)owing to EMI absorption induced by multiple internal reflection generated in the LM grid ***,the excellent stretchability of the LM-based devices facilitates tunable EMI shielding abilities through grid space adjustment upon strain(resonant frequency shift from 81.3 to 71.3 GHz@33%strain)and is also capable of retaining shielding effectiveness even after multiple strain *** newly explored device presents an advanced paradigm for powerful EMI shielding performance for next-generation smart electronics.

Derated Mode of Power Generation in PV System Using Modified Perturb and Observe MPPT Algorithm

In a grid-integrated photovoltaic system(GIPVS),there exist issues such as surplus active power and inadequate performance of maximum power point tracking(MPPT).A surplus active power causes the overvoltage problem at the point of common coupling in low-or medium-voltage grid during the peak hours of power ***,the inadequate performance of the MPPT algorithm results in power loss due to high settling time during the sudden change of ***,to solve the surplus power problem,the curtailment of active power is suggested with improved MPPT algorithm under variable irradiance *** this paper,a derated power generation mode(DPGM)control strategy is presented for the curtailment of active ***,a drift-free(named as modified)perturb and observe(P&O)technique is also proposed to improve the performance of the MPPT ***,the DPGM control scheme with the intermediate boost converter shaves the surplus active power during the peak hours of power ***,the modified MPPT algorithm deals with the fluctuation of irradiance during non-peak ***,the proposed control scheme delivers in a more efficient system during the peak hours of power *** addition,it reduces the power loss and settling time during the change of irradiance for non-peak *** on the proposed control scheme,a 30 kW system has been simulated in MATLAB/Simulink using Simpower tools under different environmental conditions.

Introduction:Kuala Lumpur is currently experiencing a large-scale urban *** study explores a multi-buffer ring method to investigate the spatial and temporal dynamics of urban growth in the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area by using Geographical Information Systems(GIS)and remote sensing imageries from1989 to ***:The first Landsat images from 1989,2001,and 2014 were classified with maximum likelihood classification to produce land cover maps and identify four types of land cover:urban/built-up,agriculture,forest,and ***,the area coverage for all the land use types at different points in time were measured and combined with distance from the city *** on,urbanization densities from the city center to the outside for every 1-km distance from 1 to 50 km are ***:City density on the distance of 5,8,15,20,and 30 km was very high in the years 1989 and ***,urban expansion shows fast and slow growth stages with high-speed growth shifting to the east side of the ***:In general,the population,traffic conditions,industrialization,and policy are the major factors thatinfluenced the urban expansion.

Banach Λ-Frames for Operator Spaces

The Banach frame for a Banach space X can reconstruct each vector in X by the pre-frame operator or the reconstruction operator. The Banach Λ-frame for operator spaces was introduced by Kaushik, Vashisht and Khattar [Reconstruction Property and Frames in Banach Spaces, Palestine Journal of Mathematics, 3(1), 2014, 11-26]. In this paper we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the Banach Λ-frames. A Paley-Wiener type stability theorem for Λ-Banach frames is discussed.

Management of proximal tibial stress fracture associated with advanced knee osteoarthritis:A systematic review

Purpose:Tibial stress fracture associated with knee osteoarthritis is an unusual and difficult clinical *** is no clear existing treatment guideline for this uncommon clinical *** aim of this study is to review the impact of various treatment options for patients with advanced knee osteoarthritis associated with proximal tibial stress ***:The study was performed using the databases of PubMed and *** index for non-randomized studies score was used to evaluate the included studies’*** concluded data included the treatment approach,reported outcome measure,and time to fracture *** literature search was started in December 2021 and accomplished in January 2022.A narrative description of the different methods and comparison of their results were ***:Out of total assessed 69 studies,9 studies were included in our *** commonest treatment approach used was total knee arthroplasty by long tibial stem *** mean preoperative knee society score and knee functional score were 30.62 and 23.17,*** mean postoperative knee society knee score was 86.87,while the functional score was *** average reported time to achieve fracture union was 4 months(a range of 2.07-5.50 months).Conclusion:The optimal clinical outcome for treating either acute or mobile tibial stress fracture in patients with advanced knee osteoarthritis can be achieved with long stem total knee ***,due to heterogeneity of data,comparison of different treatment options for chronic proximal tibial stress fracture mal-union/non-union coexisting with knee osteoarthritic and such inferences need to be judged cautiously.

currently there exists no single model to represent a database and it ancillary systems. One has to resort to a number of conceptual models to depict the system based on requirements. Through this paper we present the alternate ways of viewing and visualizing a database in its entirety making use of the thickness of the screen as an additional dimension. One of our prime motives is also to inculcate an additional methodology for imbibing database knowledge among beginners. The alternate view of the conceptual model described in this paper can also be used to find relationships, distinguishing features and other points of interest among database tables, views, warehouses, schema and transformations.

Meta-QTL analysis for mining of candidate genes and constitutive gene network development for fungal disease resistance in maize(Zea mays L.)

The development of resistant maize cultivars is the most effective and sustainable approach to combat fungal *** the last three decades,many quantitative trait loci(QTL)mapping studies reported numerous QTL for fungal disease resistance(FDR)in ***,different genetic backgrounds of germplasm and differing QTL analysis algorithms limit the use of identified QTL for comparative *** meta-QTL(MQTL)analysis is the meta-analysis of multiple QTL experiments,which entails broader allelic coverage and helps in the combined analysis of diverse QTL mapping studies revealing common genomic regions for target *** the present study,128(33.59%)out of 381 reported QTL(from 82 studies)for FDR could be projected on the maize genome through MQTL *** revealed 38 MQTL for FDR(12 diseases)on all chromosomes except chromosome *** MQTL namely 1_4,2_4,3_2,3_4,and 5_4 were linked with multiple *** of 1910 candidate genes were identified for all the MQTL regions,with protein kinase gene families,TFs,pathogenesis-related,and disease-responsive proteins directly or indirectly associated with *** comparison of physical positions of marker-traits association(MTAs)from genome-wide association studies with genes underlying MQTL interval verified the presence of QTL/candidate genes for particular *** linked markers to MQTL and putative candidate genes underlying identified MQTL can be further validated in the germplasm through marker screening and expression *** study also attempted to unravel the underlying mechanism for FDR resistance by analyzing the constitutive gene network,which will be a useful resource to understand the molecular mechanism of defense-response of a particular disease and multiple FDR in maize.

Structural characterization of monoterpene indole alkaloids in ethanolic extracts of Rauwolfia species by liquid chromatography with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry

Rauwolfia species(Apocynaceae) are medicinal plants well known worldwide due to its potent bioactive monoterpene indole alkaloids(MIAs) such as reserpine,ajmalicine,ajmaline,serpentine and ***,ajmalicine and ajmaline are powerful antihypertensive,tranquilizing agents used in *** is an aphrodisiac used in dietary *** there is no report on the comparative and comprehensive phytochemical investigation of the roots of Rauwolfia species,we have developed an efficient and reliable liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) method for ethanolic root extract of Rauwolfia species to elucidate the fragmentation pathways for dereplication of bioactive MIAs using highperformance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC–ESI–QTOF–MS/MS) in positive ion *** identified and established diagnostic fragment ions and fragmentation pathways using reserpine,ajmalicine,ajmaline,serpentine and *** MS/MS spectra of reserpine,ajmalicine,and ajmaline showed C-ring-cleavage whereas E-ring cleavage was observed in serpentine via Retro Diels Alder(RDA).A total of 47 bioactive MIAs were identified and characterized on the basis of their molecular formula,exact mass measurements and MS/MS ***,ajmalicine,ajmaline,serpentine and yohimbine were unambiguously identified by comparison with their authentic standards and other 42 MIAs were tentatively identified and characterized from the roots of Rauwolfia hookeri,Rauwolfia micrantha,Rauwolfia serpentina,Rauwolfia verticillata,Rauwolfia tetraphylla and Rauwolfia *** of LC–MS followed by principal component analysis(PCA) has been successfully used to discriminate among six Rauwolfia species.
