Background:The impact of climate change on horticultural production is of utmost concern *** such vulnerable region of horticultural importance is the Madhya Pradesh state in the central part of *** is crucial to analyse the long-term trend in climatic variations and its effect on horticultural crop ***,this study focuses on detecting trends in mean annual precipitation and temperature of 115 years for the 15 districts covering all the regions of the state as well as projections of all the Representative Concentration Pathway(RCP)climatic scenarios for 2050 and 2080 of Madhya Pradesh *** decadal(2010–2020)insight into the area and production of horticultural crops is undertaken which will help forecasting the future growth *** a better insight,case study on four horticultural crops is undertaken to assess their decadal growth trend vis-à-vis climate parameters in these 15 ***:The Mann–Kendall test for 1901–2016 and Sen’s slope indicated a non-significant change in long-term trend for precipitation except for increasing change in Khargone and decreasing change in Rewa ***-cant increasing trend of average temperature is obtained for Hoshangabad,Jabalpur,Sagar and Rewa *** Sen’s slope indicated an increase of 0.005 to 0.009℃for maximum temperature and 0.005 to 0.012℃for minimum temperature *** projections of all the RCP climate scenarios for the years 2050 and 2080 indicated non-significant variation in precipitation but an increase in maximum(1.4 to 4.1℃)and minimum(1.45 to 4.65℃)annual *** increasing trend in area and production for horticultural crops is also observed in central India for the study *** is yield increase in all the crops selected in case study except for potato,which recorded a decreased yield between the years 2010–***:The Mann–Kendall test and projections indicate towards climate change with a temperature *** the decad

Backgroud Before fertilization,spermatozoa undergo a crucial maturation step called capacitation,which is a unique event regulates the sperm’s ability for successful *** capacitation process takes place as the spermatozoa pass through the female reproductive tract(FRT).Dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase(DLD)protein is a post-pyruvate metabolic enzyme,exhibiting reactive oxygen species(ROS)production which causes ***,other vital functions of DLD in buffalo spermatozoa are hyperactivation and acrosome *** produces the optimum amount of ROS required to induce capacitation process in *** on physiological or patho-physiological conditions,DLD can either enhance or attenuate the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Aim of this study was to investigate whether changes in the production of ROS in sperm cells can impact their ability to fertilize by triggering the capacitation and acrosome *** In this study,abundance of DLD protein was quantified between high(n=5)and low fertile bull(n=5)*** was found that compared to high-fertile(HF)bulls,low-fertile(LF)bulls exhibited significantly(P<0.05)higher DLD ***,we optimised the MICA concentration to inhibit DLD function,spermatozoa were treated with MICA in time(0,1,2,3,4,and 5 h)and concentrations(1,2.5,5,and 10 mmol/L)dependent *** DLD inhibition was found to be at 4 h in 10 mmol/L MICA concentration,which was used for further exper-imentation in HF and *** on DLD inhibition it was seen that LF bull spermatozoa exhibited significantly(P<0.05)higher ROS production and acrosome reaction in comparison to the HF bull *** kinematic parameters of the spermatozoa such as percent total motility,velocity parameters(VCL,VSL,and VAP)and other parameters(BCF,STR,and LIN)were also decreased in MICA treated spermatozoa in comparison to the control(capacitated)*** The present study provides an initial

QM/MM Based Study of Electronic Structure of Platinum Dihalides

In this research work, atomic and molecular orbitals based analysis has been made to see electronic structure of platinum halides (platinum dichloride, platinum dibromide, platinum diiodide and platinum difluride). The geometry optimization and three dimensional (3D) modeling of the above mentioned species have been made on CAChe pro software. The results show: (i) The involvement of three p atomic orbitals is negligible as their summation values are very low in comparison to d orbital and considerably low with respect to s orbital. (ii) The study well support the Landis concepts of sdn-hybridation (here n = 1) as bond angle and contributions of s-orbital and d-orbital of Pt(II) are maximum with negligible contribution of p-orbitals. (iii) These halides also support the cloud-expanding effect with experimental data and also follow the nephelauxetic effect. The result is in good agreement with experiment results that covalent character increases in the order: PtI2 > PtBr2 > PtCl2 > PtF2. (iv) And thus the study will help to fine tune the existing complexes of these halides.

Alcohol use disorder(AUD)is a medical condition that impairs a person's ability to stop or manage their drinking in the face of negative social,occupational,or health *** is defined by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism as a"severe problem".The central nervous system is the primary target of alcohol's adverse *** is crucial to identify various neurological disorders associated with AUD,including alcohol withdrawal syndrome,Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome,Marchiafava-Bignami disease,dementia,and *** gain a better understanding of the neurological environment of alcoholism and to shed light on the role of various neurotransmitters in the phenomenon of alcoholism.A comprehensive search of online databases,including PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,and Google Scholar,was conducted to identify relevant *** neurotransmitters(dopamine,gammaaminobutyric acid,serotonin,and glutamate)have been linked to alcoholism due to a brain *** appears to be a complex genetic disorder,with variations in many genes influencing *** of these genes have been identified,including two alcohol metabolism genes,alcohol dehydrogenase 1B gene and aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 gene,which have the most potent known effects on the risk of *** degeneration and demyelination in people with AUD may be caused by neuronal damage,nutrient deficiencies,and blood brain barrier dysfunction;however,the underlying mechanism is *** review will provide a detailed overview of the neurobiology of alcohol addiction,followed by recent studies published in the genetics of alcohol addiction,molecular mechanism and detailed information on the various acute and chronic neurological manifestations of alcoholism for the Future research.

Kelvin-Helmholtz instability with mass transfer through porous media: Effect of irrotational viscous pressure

This paper studies the effect of the irrotational viscous pressure on Kelvin-Helmholtz instability of the plane interface of two viscous and incompressible fluids in a fully saturated porous media with mass and heat transfers across the interface. In the earlier work, the instability of the plane interface of two viscous and streaming miscible fluids through porous media was studied by assuming that the motion and the pressure are irrotational and the viscosity enters the normal stress balance. This theory is called the viscous potential flow theory. Here, we use another irrotational theory in which the discontinuities in the irrotational tangential velocity and shear stress are eliminated in the global energy balance by considering viscous contributions of the irrotational pressure. The Darcy-Brinkman model is used in the investigation and the stability criterion is formulated in terms of a critical value of the relative velocity. It is observed that the heat and mass transfer has a destabilizing effect on the stability of the system while the irrotational shearing stresses stabilize the system.

Derated Mode of Power Generation in PV System Using Modified Perturb and Observe MPPT Algorithm

In a grid-integrated photovoltaic system(GIPVS),there exist issues such as surplus active power and inadequate performance of maximum power point tracking(MPPT).A surplus active power causes the overvoltage problem at the point of common coupling in low-or medium-voltage grid during the peak hours of power ***,the inadequate performance of the MPPT algorithm results in power loss due to high settling time during the sudden change of ***,to solve the surplus power problem,the curtailment of active power is suggested with improved MPPT algorithm under variable irradiance *** this paper,a derated power generation mode(DPGM)control strategy is presented for the curtailment of active ***,a drift-free(named as modified)perturb and observe(P&O)technique is also proposed to improve the performance of the MPPT ***,the DPGM control scheme with the intermediate boost converter shaves the surplus active power during the peak hours of power ***,the modified MPPT algorithm deals with the fluctuation of irradiance during non-peak ***,the proposed control scheme delivers in a more efficient system during the peak hours of power *** addition,it reduces the power loss and settling time during the change of irradiance for non-peak *** on the proposed control scheme,a 30 kW system has been simulated in MATLAB/Simulink using Simpower tools under different environmental conditions.

In the present work, the new exact solutions of the Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli system have been found. The system has extensive physical background. The exact solutions of the Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli system are investigated using similarity transformation method via Lie group theory. Lie symmetry generators are used for constructing similarity variables for the given system of partial differential equations, which lead to the new system of partial differentiaJ equations with one variable less at each step and eventually to a system of ordinary differential equations （ODEs）. Finally, these ODEs are solved exactly. The exact solutions are obtained under some parametric restrictions. The elastic behavior of the soliton solutions is shown graphically by taking some appropriate choices of the arbitrary functions involved in the solutions.

Nitrogen dioxide(NO2),a hazardous gas with acidic nature,is continuously being liberated in the atmosphere due to human *** NO2 sensors based on traditional materials have limitations of high-temperature requirements,slow recovery,and performance degradation under harsh environmental *** limitations of traditional materials are forcing the scientific community to discover future alternative NO2 sensitive *** disulfide(MoS2)has emerged as a potential candidate for developing next-generation NO2 gas ***2 has a large surface area for NO2 molecules adsorption with controllable morphologies,facile integration with other materials and compatibility with internet of things(IoT)*** aim of this review is to provide a detailed overview of the fabrication of MoS2 chemiresistance sensors in terms of devices(resistor and transistor),layer thickness,morphology control,defect tailoring,heterostructure,metal nanoparticle doping,and through light ***,the experimental and theoretical aspects used in designing MoS2-based NO2 sensors are also discussed ***,the review concludes the challenges and future perspectives to further enhance the gas-sensing performance of *** and addressing these issues are expected to yield the development of highly reliable and industry standard chemiresistance NO2 gas sensors for environmental monitoring.

A series of Er^(3+)ions doped lithium lead alumino borate(LiPbAlB)glasses were synthesized via melt quench method and their structural,physical and optical properties were ***-Ofelt theory in correlation with the emission and absorption profiles was performed for the measurement of various radiative parameters for different transitions of Er^(3+)doped *** as-prepared glasses show deep green(550 nm)as well as NIR(1532 nm)emission at 380 and 980 nm excitation wavelengths,*** intensity of emission spectra increases with Er^(3+)ions concentration up to 1.5 mol%and beyond quenching is *** Dexter theory applied to the emission profiles reveals the interaction between Er^(3+)ions as dipole-dipole in *** color coordinates are found to fall in the green region of the visible *** is observed that 1.5 mol%of Er^(3+)ions concentration is optimum to exhibit the maximum quantum efficiency,branching ratios,gain bandwidth,emission cross-section,gain crosssection and aptly suitable for visible and NIR photonic applications.

Adaptive Tracking Control of an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle

This paper presents the trajectory tracking control of an autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV). To cope with parametric uncertainties owing to the hydrodynamic effect, an adaptive control law is developed for the AUV to track the desired trajectory. This desired state-dependent regressor matrix-based controller provides consistent results under hydrodynamic parametric *** of the developed controller is verified using the Lyapunov s direct method. Numerical simulations are carried out to study the efficacy of the proposed adaptive controller.
