The laser technology has made remarkable progress over the past couple of *** is being widely employed in diverse domains,such as holography,space sciences,spectroscopy,medical sciences,micro and power electronics,industrial engineering,and most distinctively,as directed energy military *** to their active transmissions,laser systems are similar to microwave radars to some extent;however,unlike conventional radars,the laser operates at very high frequencies thus making it a potent enabler of narrow-beam and high energy aerial deployments,both in offensive and defensive *** modern avionics systems,laser target indicators and beam riders are the most common devices that are used to direct the Laser Guided Weapons(LGW)accurately to the ground ***,compact size and outstanding angular resolution of laser-based systems motivate their use for drones and unmanned aerial ***,the narrow-beam divergence of laser emissions offers a low probability of intercept,making it a suitable contender for secure transmissions and safety-critical ***,the developments in space sciences and laser technology have given synergistic potential outcomes to use laser systems in space *** paper comprehensively reviews laser applications and projects for strategic defense actions on the ground or in ***,a detailed analysis has been done on recent advancements of the laser technology for target indicators and *** also reviews the advancements in the field of laser communications for surveillance,its earlier state of the art,and ongoing scientific research and advancements in the domain of high energy directed laser weapons that have revolutionized the evolving military *** offering a comprehensive taxonomy,the paper also critically analyzes some of the recent contributions in the associated domains.

膜蒸馏(MD)作为一种有前景的高盐废水处理技术而受到广泛关注.然而,由于实际废水成分复杂,MD的实际应用面临膜润湿、膜污染和膜结垢三大关键挑战,易导致膜通量和选择性降低,甚至膜失效.本文首先简述不同种类污染物诱导的膜润湿、污染和结垢的特点及其形成原因.随后,重点介绍了目前抗润湿、抗污染、抗结垢新型膜的研究进展,包括超疏水膜、全疏膜、常规Janus膜和致密Janus膜的设计原则、抗性机理及其适用范围.此外,讨论了通过对进料预处理、操作条件调控的辅助手段以及膜再生来进一步保证MD长期运行的稳定性.

Evaluation of the Neurodevelopmental Outcome of Toddlers with Spinal Dysraphism after Surgical Repair Using ASQ-3^™ Scores

Background: Spinal dysraphism represents a wide spectrum of congenital abnormalities of the spine. Myelomeningocele is considered the most common malformation and the most common we saw in our community, with its morbidity problems seen commonly in the postoperative period. ASQ-3TM Scores are the ages and stages questionnaire, third edition, and represent a tool to assess the development progress, especially in toddlers. Objectives: Evaluation of neurodevelopmental outcome among Sudanese toddlers with spinal dysraphism after surgical closure with or without a VP shunt using ASQ-3TM Scores. Methodology: This is a retrospective hospital-based study of 84 patients who underwent myelomeningocele repair at the National Center for Neurological Sciences (NCNS) during the period from 2017 up to 2019. Data were collected through a constructed questionnaire, including ASQ-3TM Scores. Data were processed and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) computer program. Version 25. Results: 84 patients were included in this study;all patients were diagnosed with spinal dysraphism. Out of them, 51 (60.7%) were 2 years old, 33 (39.3%) were 3 years old, 45 (53.6%) were male, 45 (53.6%) of patients mothers attended ANC irregularly, and 54 (64.3%) their mothers didn’t receive folate supplements. 44 (52.3%) of patients underwent MMC repair only, while 40 (47.7%) underwent MMC repair and VP shunt. The commonest postoperative complication was infection, reported in 12 (14.3%) of patients, followed by VP shunt revision in 9 (10.7%) of patients. Neurological assessment showed that the majority of patients need further assessment with a professional, 57 (67.9%) of children don’t walk, run, or climb like other toddlers as their parent’s state;also, half of patients (42, 50%) had medical problems, and 27 (32.1%) of their parent’s state that they do not talk like other toddlers their age. 无人机遥感技术作为一种新型的农业技术,为精准农业领域的发展提供了重要的技术支持。与传统监测方法相比,无人机遥感具有成本低、时效性强、无大气干扰、分辨率高等优点,为农业信息采集提供了新的工具。无人机农业遥感技术能够高效、无损地精确采集农业遥感数据,对作物长势进行实时监测,为农业生产提供重要的获取空间数据途径。近年来,随着无人机技术和遥感技术的不断发展和成熟,无人机农业遥感技术的应用范围逐步扩大,涵盖了作物生长监测、精准施肥、精准灌溉、病虫害预警等多个领域。本文重点介绍无人机遥感技术在作物生长监测中的应用,主要介绍了无人机遥感系统的组成、无人机遥感平台和传感器的类型和特点、基于无人机遥感图像数据处理的关键步骤以及作物长势监测的重要指标,综合评估了无人机遥感技术在作物长势监测方面应用的研究现状和存在的问题旨在为后续的无人机遥感技术在作物长势监测中的研究提供参考。

High-dose-rate intraluminal brachytherapy during preoperative chemoradiation for locally advanced rectal cancers

AIM:To determine the feasibility and safety of high dose rate intraluminal brachytherapy(HDR-ILBT) boost during preoperative chemoradiation for rectal ***:Between 2008 and 2009,thirty-six patients with locally advanced rectal cancer(≥ T3 or N+),were treated initially with concurrent capecitabine(825 mg/m2 oral twice daily) and pelvic external beam radiotherapy(EBRT)(45 Gy in 25 fractions),then were randomized to group A;HDR-ILBT group(n = 17) to receive 5.5-7 Gy×2 to gross tumor volume(GTV) and group B;EBRT group(n = 19) to receive 5.4 Gy×3 fractions to GTV with *** patients underwent total mesorectal ***:Grade 3 acute toxicities were registered in 12 patients(70.6%) in group A and in 8(42.1%) in group *** pathologic response of T stage(ypT0) in group A was registered in 10 patients(58.8%) and in group B,3 patients(15.8%) had ypT0(P < 0.0001).Sphincter preservation was reported in 6/9 patients(66.7%) in group A and in 5/10 patients(50%) in group B(P < 0.01).Overall radiological response was 68.15% and 66.04% in Group A and B,*** a median follow up of 18 mo,late grade 1 and 2 sequelae were registered in 3 patients(17.6%) and 4 patients(21.1%) in the groups A and B,***:HDR-ILBT was found to be effective dose escalation technique in preoperative chemoradiation for rectal cancers,with higher response rates,downstaging and with manageable acute toxicities.
