The colorful,nutrient-rich peels of citrus fruits have long been valued for their tangy flavors and aroma.ic *** oils are produced and stored in special secretory structures called oil glands,which are prevalent across citrus va.ieties(Knight et al.,2001).Oil glands serve as"reservoirs"for diverse metabolites such as terpenes and flavonoids that give citrus fruits their characteristic aroma(Mahato et al.,2019;Voo et al.,2012;Xian et al.,2022).Many of these compounds also act as chemical defenses against pest and pathogens(Fisher and Phillips,2008).

Heat storage properties of phase change materials(PCMs) are essential characteristics that perform a key role in thermal heat energy storage *** thermal properties of PCMs can be improved by developing metal foam/PCM *** addition of metal foam in PCMs has a significant effect on the thermal characteristics of *** this paper,the heat storage properties of two different metal foam/PCM composites were experimentally *** beha.ior of paraffin in metal foam(copper and iron-nickel)/paraffin composites concerning pure paraffin at a constant heat flux of 1000 W/m^(2) in three directions simultaneously(x,y,and z) was *** was infiltrated into copper and iron-nickel foams to develop composite materials which resulted in enhancing the thermal conductivity of the paraffin.A compara.ive analysis is made on the heat storage properties of paraffin in copper and iron-nickel foams/paraffin *** temperature distribution during the phase transition process is experimentally *** compa.ison indicates that temperature uniformity in copper foam/paraffin composite is better than in iron-nickel foam/paraffin composite and pure paraffin at the same heat *** results show that at heat flux of 1000 W/m^(2),the heat storage time for copper foam/paraffin composite is 20.63% of that of iron-nickel foam/paraffin composite.

The sluggish kinetics of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is the key tailback for hydrogen production from the water *** OER with thermodyna.ically auspicious methanol oxida.ion reaction(MOR)can significantly boost the H_(2) and value-added products ***,it is currently challenging to achieve a synergistic ma.ipula.ion of product selectivity and performance for MOR ***,we report NiSnPH@OOH/CC(CC=carbon cloth)perovskite hydroxide nanosphere as an efficient MOR electrocatalyst with high activity,sta.ility,and selectivity towards methanol oxida.ion to formate.A surface amorphous layer of defect rich NiOOH was generated in operando by selective Sn leaching with stable perovskite hydroxide bulk structure,which mitigates the oxida.ive power and optimizes the local coordina.ion environment of the active NiOOH *** situ Raman combined with electrochemical studies further confirm the key active species,NiOOH,generated in operando enhance the MOR and blocking the over oxida.ion of methanol to CO_(2).As a result,NiSnPH@OOH/CC effectively masks the OER and attains>99%selectivity with 100%Fara.ic efficiency for *** results of this study show the advances of NiSnPH@OOH/CC as an efficient electrocatalyst for MOR and also suggest its potential applica.ions for va.ious small orga.ic molecules oxida.ion.

in current research work,Dy3+substituted Mg0.5Cu0.25Co0.25Fe2-xDyxO4(0.0≤x≤0.04 with the step interval of 0.01)soft ferrites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto combustion *** prepared samples were characterized by the techniques using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),Fourier transform infrared(FTiR)spectroscopy,curre nt-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ)measurement,LCR meter,vibra.ing sample magnetometer(VSM)and *** data reveal that the average crystallite size is 49.71 nm and the lattice constant is 0.83703 nm for sample x=*** non-uniform grain growth was demonstrated by micrographs and impurity-free elemental composition was observed from EDX *** DC resistivity has an increa.ing and decrea.ing trend in ferromagnetic and paramagnetic regions with an increase in ***,the high resistivity is observed with the order of 1010Ω·cm,and the activa.ion energy is 0.944 eV for samples x=*** dielectric parameters including dielectric constant,dielectric losses,and impedance gradually decrease with the increase in frequency from 8 Hz to 8 *** minimum dielectric loss at high frequency is found for sample x=*** coercivity(Hc)and satura.ion magnetiza.ion(Ms)are found in the ranges of 520.82-544.02 Oe and 20.5841-21.1473 emu/g,*** observa.ions confirm that dysprosium(x=0.03)doped MCC-soft ferrites may be applicable in transformer cores,microwave absorbance,and telecommunica.ion devices.

The geological and geographical position of the Northwest Himalayas makes it a vulnerable area for mass movements particularly landslides and debris flows. Mass movements have had a substantial impact on the study area which is extending along Karakorum Highway(KKH) from Besham to Chilas. intense seismicity, deep gorges, steep terrain and extreme clima.ic events trigger multiple mountain hazards along the KKH, among which debris flow is recognized as the most destructive geohazard. This study aims to prepare a field-based debris flow inventory map at a regional scale along a 200 km stretch from Besham to Chilas. A total of 117 debris flows were identified in the field, and subsequently, a point-based debris-flow inventory and catchment delinea.ion were performed through Arc GiS analysis. Regional scale debris flow susceptibility and propaga.ion maps were prepared using Weighted Overlay Method(WOM) and Flow-R technique sequentially. Predisposing factors include slope, slope aspect, eleva.ion, Topographic Roughness index(TRi), Topographic Wetness index(TWi), stream buffer, distance to faults, lithology rainfall, curvature, and collapsed material layer. The dataset was randomly divided into training data(75%) and va.ida.ion data(25%). Results were va.idated through the Receiver Operator Characteristics(ROC) curve. Results show that Area Under the Curve(AUC) using WOM model is 79.2%. Flow-R propaga.ion of debris flow shows that the 13.15%, 22.94%, and 63.91% areas are very high, high, and low susceptible to debris flow respectively. The propaga.ion predicated by Flow-R va.idates the naturally occurring debris flow propaga.ion as observed in the field surveys. The output of this research will provide valuable input to the decision makers for the site selection, designing of the prevention system, and for the protection of current infrastructure.

Developing high ionic conducting electrolytes is crucial for applying proton-conducting fuel cell(PCFCs)*** cur-rent study investigates the effect of alumina on the structural,morphological,electrical,and electrochemical properties of CeO_(2).Lattice oxygen vacancies are induced in CeO_(2) by a general doping concept that enables fast ionic conduction at low-temperature ranges(300-500℃)for *** refinement of the X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns established the pure cubic fluorite structure of Al-doped CeO_(2)(ADC)samples and confirmed Al ions’fruitful integra.ion in the CeO_(2) *** electronic structure of the alumina-doped ceria of the materials(10ADC,20ADC,and 30ADC)has been *** a result,it was found that the best composition of 30ADC-based electrolytes induced ma.imum lattice oxygen *** corresponding PCFC exhibited a ma.imum power output of 923 mW/cm^(2)at 500℃.Moreover,the investiga.ion proves the proton-conducting a.ility of alumina-doped ceria-based fuel cells by using an oxide ion-blocking layer.

Controllable design of the catalytic electrodes with hierarchical superstructures is expected to improve their electrochemical ***,a self-supported integrated electrode(NiCo-ZLDH/NF)with a unique hierarchical quaternary superstructure was fabricated through a self-sacrificing template strategy from the metal–orga.ic framework(Co-ZiF-67)nanoplate arrays,which features an intriguing well-defined hierarchy when ta.ing the unit cells of the NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo-LDH)as the primary structure,the ultrathin LDH nanoneedles as the secondary structure,the mesoscale hollow plates of the LDH nanoneedle arrays as the tertiary structure,and the macroscale three-dimensional frames of the plate arrays as the quaternary ***,the distinctive structure of NiCo-ZLDH/NF can not only accelerate both mass and charge transfer,but also expose plentiful accessible active sites with high intrinsic activity,endowing it with an excellent electrochemical performance for urea oxida.ion reaction(UOR).Specially,it only required the low potentials of 1.335,1.368 and 1.388 V to deliver the current densities of 10,100 and 200 mA cm^(-2),respectively,much superior to those for typical *** NiCo-ZLDH/NF as the bifunctional electrode for both anodic UOR and cathodic HER,an energy-sa.ing electrolysis system was further explored which can greatly reduce the needed voltage of 213 mV to deliver the current density of 100 mA cm^(-2),as compared to the conventional water electrolysis system composed of *** work ma.ifests that it is prospective to explore the hierarchically nanostructured electrodes and the innova.ive electrolytic technologies for high-efficiency electrocatalysis.

Green supplier selection is an important debate in green supply chain management(GSCM),attracting global attention from scholars,especially compa.ies and *** frequently search for new ideas and strategies to assist them in rea.izing sustainable *** of the specula.ive character of human opinions,supplier selection frequently includes unreliable data,and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft set(iVPFSS)provides an exceptional capa.ity to cope with excessive fuzziness,inconsistency,and inexactness through the decision-ma.ing *** main goal of this study is to come up with new opera.ional laws for interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft numbers(iVPFSNs)and create two interaction operators-the intervalvalued Pythagorean fuzzy soft interaction weighted average(iVPFSiWA)and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft interaction weighted geometric(iVPFSiWG)operators,and analyze their *** operators are highly advantageous in addressing uncertain problems by considering membership and non-membership values within intervals,providing a superior solution to other ***,specia.ist judgments were calculated by the MCGDM technique,supporting the use of interaction AOs to regulate the interdependence and fundamental partia.ity of green supplier assessment ***,a sta.istical cla.ifica.ion of the planned method for green supplier selection is presented.
