Body Area Networks(BODYNETs)or Wireless Body Area Networks(WBAN),being an important type of ad-hoc network,plays a vital role in multimedia,safety,and traffic management *** BODYNETs,rapid topology changes occur due to high node mobility,which affects the scalability of the *** clustering is one mechanism among many others,which is used to overcome this issue in *** are many clustering algorithms used in this domain to overcome this ***,these algorithms generate a large number of Cluster Heads(CHs),which results in scarce resource utilization and degraded *** this research,an efficient clustering technique is proposed to handle these *** transmission range of BODYNET nodes is dynamically tuned accordingly as per their operational *** optimizing the transmission range,the packet loss ratio is minimized,and link quality is improved,which leads to reduced energy *** select optimal CHs the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)is used based on their fitness,which enhances the network performance by reducing routing *** proposed scheme outclasses the existing state-of-the-art techniques,e.g.,Ant Colony Optimization(ACO),Gray Wolf Optimization(GWO),and Dragonfly Optimization Algorithm(DFA)in terms of energy consumption and cluster building time.

Compact stator structure of flux switching machines(FSMs)encompassing both permanent magnets(PMs)and armature winding slots(AWS)attract research interest whenever high power and density are the basic ***,it also results in temperature rises owing to heat generation by electromagnetic power losses degrading the electromagnetic performance and affecting machine *** this study,a segmented permanent magnet(SPM)consequent pole FSM(SPM-CPFSM)is developed,which provides a stator cooling channel(duct)for improved heat dissipation to avoid demagnetization of PM as well as ***,this study investigates detailed electromagnetic performance analysis and prediction of temperature variation in various machine parts owing to the heat generated by iron,copper,and magnet eddy current losses utilizing coupled electromagnetic-thermal analysis accounting for magnetic flux density *** comparison with the 2D analysis,the developed 3D coupled-field analysis more accurately predicts electromagnetic performance and temperature *** reveals that a cooling duct at the stator significantly assists in stator heat dissipation in the axial direction ensuring a safe operating condition of the PMs as well as machine parts to avoid overheating.

The present paper investigates the theoretical analysis of the tuberculosis(TB)model in the discrete-time *** model is parameterized by the TB infection cases in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between 2002 and *** model is parameterized and the basic reproduction number is obtained and it is found R_(0)=1:*** stability analysis for the model is presented and it is shown that the discrete-time tuberculosis model is stable at the disease-free equilibrium whenever R_(0)1.A discrete fractional model in the sense of Caputo derivative is *** numerical results of the model with various parameters and their effect on the model are presented.A comparison of discrete-time method with continuous-time model is presented graphically.A discrete fractional approach is compared with the existing method in literature and some reasonable results are ***,a summary of results and conclusion are presented.

Cloud computing is providing IT services to its customer based on Service level agreements(SLAs).It is important for cloud service providers to provide reliable Quality of service(QoS)and to maintain SLAs *** service providers need to predict possible service violations before the emergence of an issue to perform remedial actions for *** users’major concerns;the factors for service reliability are based on response time,accessibility,availability,and *** this paper,we,therefore,experiment with the parallel mutant-Particle swarm optimization(PSO)for the detection and predictions of QoS violations in terms of response time,speed,accessibility,and *** paper also compares Simple-PSO and Parallel *** simulation results,it is observed that the proposed Parallel MutantPSO solution for cloud QoS violation prediction achieves 94%accuracy which is many accurate results and is computationally the fastest technique in comparison of conventional PSO technique.

The Sentinel-2 A satellite having embedded advantage of red edge spectral bands offers multispectral imageries with improved spatial,spectral and temporal resolutions as compared to the other contemporary satellites providing medium resolution *** study was aimed at exploring the potential of Sentinel-2 A imagery to estimate Above Ground Biomass(AGB) of Subtropical Pine Forest in Pakistan administered *** developed an AGB predictive model using field inventory and Sentinel 2 A based spectral and textural parameters along with topographic features derived from ALOS Digital Elevation Model(DEM).Field inventory data was collected from 108 randomly distributed plots(0.1 ha each) across the study *** stepwise linear regression method was employed to investigate the potential relationship between field data and corresponding satellite *** and carbon mapping of the study area was carried out through established AGB estimation model with R(o.86),R2(0.74),adjusted R2(0.72) and RMSE value of 33 t/*** results showed that first order textures(mean,standard deviation and variance) significantly contributed in AGB predictive modeling while only one spectral band ratio made contribution from spectral *** study leads to the conclusion that Sentinel-2 A optical data is a potential source for AGB estimation in subtropical pine forest of the area of interest with added benefit of its free of cost availability,higher quality data and long-term continuity that can be utilized for biomass carbon distribution mapping in the resource constraint study area for sustainable forest management.

The fourth most predominant overwhelming type of trauma is burn injuries *** wound healing dressings help in the wound healing process in a lower time with less *** used dry wound dressing,like absorbent gauze or absorbent cotton,possess limited therapeutic effects and require repeated use,which further exaggerates patients’*** contrast,hydrogels films present a promising alternative to improve healing by guaranteeing a moisture balance at the wound *** aim of the current study was to synthesize Tamarix aphylla(***)extract-loaded hydrogel film with Na-CMC and pectin and to study their wound healing *** Na-CMC/Pectin hydrogels films were synthesized and characterized for HPLC analysis,FTIR,surface morphology,rheology,tensile strength,swelling behavior,drug release kinetics,and in vivo wound healing in an animal *** confirmed the existence of strong interaction between both polymers but no interaction with the *** photographs showed successful embedding of extract in small pores of hydrogel film and showed smooth and homogenous *** and texture profiles indicated that hydrogels behaved as strong *** and erosion were dependent on the amount of the *** showed drug content of three selected formulation(A3,E3 and S3)as 85±0.1%,82.5±0.4%and 80±0.3%,*** release of the drug from the hydrogel was controlled by a Fickian diffusion *** vivo wound healing activity of hydrogel film confirmed that *** extract successfully promoted healing rate by significantly reducing(P<0.05)the size of wound closure compared to the control group,evidenced by intensive collagen formation in histopathological and biochemical *** capability of these hydrogels for burn wounds could be valuable for medical uses as a new window of safe and effective medication.

Human gait recognition(HGR)has received a lot of attention in the last decade as an alternative biometric *** main challenges in gait recognition are the change in in-person view angle and covariant *** major covariant factors are walking while carrying a bag and walking while wearing a *** learning is a new machine learning technique that is gaining *** techniques for HGR based on deep learning are presented in the *** requirement of an efficient framework is always required for correct and quick gait *** proposed a fully automated deep learning and improved ant colony optimization(IACO)framework for HGR using video sequences in this *** proposed framework consists of four primary *** the first step,the database is normalized in a video *** the second step,two pre-trained models named ResNet101 and InceptionV3 are selected andmodified according to the dataset’s *** that,we trained both modified models using transfer learning and extracted the *** IACO algorithm is used to improve the extracted *** is used to select the best features,which are then passed to the Cubic SVM for final *** cubic SVM employs a multiclass *** experiment was carried out on three angles(0,18,and 180)of the CASIA B dataset,and the accuracy was 95.2,93.9,and 98.2 percent,respectively.A comparison with existing techniques is also performed,and the proposed method outperforms in terms of accuracy and computational time.

This review article covers some of the founding literature that helps develop our understandingof the National Innovation System (NIS) concept. Subsequently, several versionsof NIS, including system-functional approaches, are discussed and compared with narrowresearch and development (R&D) and market-based approaches. Finally, the article contendsthat the system-functional and other narrow approaches are limited in application tothe developing low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Thus, it makes a case for moreinclusive absorptive capacity approaches and explains how they might be more relevant ininvestigating the NIS of an LMIC. Such approaches suggest LMICs be strategic in buildingtheir innovation base and plead for strong local conditions (capacities)to produceknowledge as well as capture and improvise on incoming knowledge from abroad. Theresearch is important as it provides insights into analyzing and capturing innovationprocesses in LMICs, which are prime candidates for development and innovation studiesandpractice.
