Ammonia(NH_(3))is an irreplaceable chemical that has been widely demanded to keep the sustainable development of modern ***,its industrial production consumes a huge amount of energy and releases extraordinary greenhouse gases(GHGs),leading to various environmental *** the green production of ammonia is a great challenge,which has been extensively pursued in the last *** this review,the most promising strategy,electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction(e-NO_(3)RR),is comprehensively investigated to give a complete understanding of its development and mechanism and provide guidance for future ***,owing to the complex reactions and limited selectivity,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms is crucial to further development and ***,NO_(3)^(-)RR is a promising strategy for simultaneous water treatment and NH_(3)production.A detailed overview of the recent progress in NO_(3)^(-)RR for NH_(3)production with nontransition and transition metal based electrocatalysts is *** addition,critical advanced techniques,future challenges,and prospects are discussed to guide future research on transition metal-based catalysts for commercial NH_(3)synthesis by NO_(3)^(-)reduction.

Surface plasmon polariton at the interface of dielectric and graphene medium using Kerr effect

We theoretically investigate the control of surface plasmon polariton（SPP） generated at the interface of dielectric and graphene medium under Kerr nonlinearity. The controlled Kerr nonlinear signal of probe light beam in a dielectric medium is used to generate SPPs at the interface of dielectric and graphene medium. The positive, negative absorption, and dispersion properties of SPPs are modified and controlled by the control and Kerr fields. A large amplification（negative absorption） is noted for SPPs under the Kerr nonlinearity. The normal/anomalous slope of dispersion and propagation length of SPPs is modified and controlled with Kerr nonlinearity. This leads to significant variation in slow and fast SPP propagation. The controlled slow and fast SPP propagation may predict significant applications in nano-photonics, optical tweezers, photovoltaic devices, plasmonster, and sensing technology.

Bacterial endophytes are beneficial to their hosts as they can fix nitrogen in the soil and make it available to the *** bacteria also secrete plant growth-promoting hormones to support their host plants under normal as well as stress *** current study aimed to isolate endophytic bacteria from different parts of Calotropis procera,i.e.,roots,stem and leaves of Calotropis procera(Ait.)*** were collected from the Lundkhwar,district Mardan.A total of 12 bacterial strains,i.e.,six from roots,three from the stem and three from the leaves were *** strains were screened for their growth-promoting activity in rice plants because rice shows a quick and easy response to the bioactive compounds present in the culture filtrate(CF)of the potent endophytic *** rice plants were cultivated in pots containing 30 mL of 0.8%w/v water-agar *** pots were placed in a growth chamber,operated at 28±0.3℃ for 14 h(day);and 25±0.3℃ for 10 h(night),at 70%*** the isolated strains,R1,S1,S3,L1,R5 and R6 showed visible growth promotion in rice *** biochemical analysis revealed that the strains were able to produce indole acetic acid(IAA)and flavonoids in higher ***,the strains also produced bioactive compounds that inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli and Aspergillus flavus using the well diffusion *** the results,it was concluded that these strains can secrete potent compounds that can promote the host plant growth and inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and,therefore,can be used as bio-fertilizer and bio-control agents.

This research presents the applications of entropy generation phenomenon in incompressible flow of Jeffrey nanofluid in the presence of distinct thermal features. The novel aspects of various features, such as Joule heating, porous medium,dissipation features, and radiative mechanism are addressed. In order to improve thermal transportation systems based on nanomaterials, convective boundary conditions are introduced. The thermal viscoelastic nanofluid model is expressed in terms of differential equations. The problem is presented via nonlinear differential equations for which analytical expressions are obtained by using the homotopy analysis method(HAM). The accuracy of solution is ensured. The effective outcomes of all physical parameters associated with the flow model are carefully examined and underlined through various curves. The observations summarized from current analysis reveal that the presence of a permeability parameter offers resistance to the flow. A monotonic decrement in local Nusselt number is noted with Hartmann number and Prandtl ***, entropy generation and Bejan number increases with radiation parameter and fluid parameter.

Micromechanical Modeling of Elastic-Viscoplastic Behavior of Armco-Fe at High Strain Rate

Heterogeneous dynamical stress-strain response of Armco-Fe was investigated at high strain rates through the Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar （SHPB） testing. It was found that the viscoplastic deformation in BCC ferrite grains is affected by the strain rate. Thermal softening and variation in crystal orientations under high-strain-rate loading were used in the elastic-viscoplastic modeling. The micromechanical analysis with self-consistent transition and homogenization was used for estimation of the global impact response of the material. The results from modeling were found in good agreement with the experimental data.

Joint Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) & Walsh-Hadamard Transform: Enhancing the Receiver Performance

Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a new access method to achieve high performance gains in terms of capacity and throughput, so it is currently under consideration as one of the candidates for fifth generation(5 G) technologies. NOMA utilizes power domain in order to superimpose signals of multiple users in a single transmitted signal. This creates a lot of interference at the receive side. Although the use of successive interference cancellation(SIC) technique reduces the interference, but to further improve the receiver performance, in this paper, we have proposed a joint Walsh-Hadamard transform(WHT) and NOMA approach for achieving better performance gains than the conventional NOMA. WHT is a well-known code used in communication systems and is used as an orthogonal variable spreading factor(OVSF) in communication systems. Application of WHT to NOMA results in low bit error rate(BER) and high throughput performance for both low and high channel gain users. Further, it also reduces peak to average power ratio(PAPR) of the user signal. The results are discussed in terms of comparison between the conventionalNOMA and the proposed technique, which shows that it offers high performance gains in terms of low BER at different SNR levels, reduced PAPR, high user throughput performance and better spectral efficiency.

Mixed Matrix Membranes of Polysulfone/Polyimide Reinforced with Modified Zeolite Based Filler: Preparation, Properties and Application

In this work, polysulfone/polyimide（PSf/PI） mixed matrix membranes were fabricated by reinforcement of modified zeolite（MZ） particles through solution casting method for investigation of antibacterial activity against two gram negative bacteria（Salmonella typhi, Klebsella pneumonia） and two gram positive bacteria（Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis）. The modified zeolite particles were incorporated to PSf and PI matrix and the influence of these particles on thermal, mechanical and structural properties was evaluated. The morphological evolution was investigated through scanning electron microscopy（SEM） and transmission electron microscopy（TEM） analysis, which revealed good compatibility between organic polymer matrix and inorganic filler. Mechanical stability was investigated by tensile testing while thermal analysis was evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis（TGA） and differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）. This revealed improvement in thermal properties with increasing filler concentration from 1 wt% to 10 wt%. Structural analysis was successfully done using X-ray diffraction analysis（XRD） and Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy. Solvent content of fabricated mixed matrix membranes was observed to decrease while moving from more hydrophilic to less hydrophilic solvent. However, addition of filler content enhanced the porosity of fabricated membranes. The synthesized mixed matrix membranes exhibited good antibacterial activity and the highest activity was shown by PSf/PI/MZ mixed matrix membrane. Therefore, the combination effect of PSf, PI and MZ sufficiently enhanced the antibacterial activity of mixed matrix membranes.

Properties of Chemically Synthesized Nano-geopolymer Cement based Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete(SCGC)

The physical and mechanical properties of self-compacting geopolymer concrete(SCGC) using chemically synthesized nano-geopolymer cement was investigated. Nano-geopolymer cement was synthesized using nano-silica, alkali activator, and sodium aluminate in the laboratory. Subsequently, nine nanogeopolymer cement sbased SCGC mixes with varying nano-geopolymer cement content, alkali activator content, coarse aggregate(CA) content, and curing temperature were produced. The workability-related fresh properties were assessed through slump flow diameter and slump flow rate measurements. Mechanical performances were evaluated through compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity measurements. In addition, rapid chloride penetration test, water absorption, and porosity tests were also performed. It was assessed that all mix design parameters influenced the fresh and hardened properties of SCGC mixes. Based on test results, it was deduced that nano-geopolymer cement SCGC performed fairly well. All the SCGC mixes achieved the 28-day compressive strength in the range of 60-80 MPa. Additionally, all mixes attained 60% of their 28-day strength during the first three days of elevated temperature curing. FTIR and SEM analyses were performed to evaluate the degree of polymerization and the microstructure respectively for SCGC mixes.

Cervical Cancer Prediction Empowered with Federated Machine Learning

Cervical cancer is an intrusive cancer that imitates various women around the world. Cervical cancer ranks in thefourth position because of the leading death cause in its premature stages. The cervix which is the lower end of thevagina that connects the uterus and vagina forms a cancerous tumor very slowly. This pre-mature cancerous tumorin the cervix is deadly if it cannot be detected in the early stages. So, in this delineated study, the proposed approachuses federated machine learning with numerous machine learning solvers for the prediction of cervical cancer totrain the weights with varying neurons empowered fuzzed techniques to align the neurons, Internet of MedicalThings (IoMT) to fetch data and blockchain technology for data privacy and models protection from hazardousattacks. The proposed approach achieves the highest cervical cancer prediction accuracy of 99.26% and a 0.74%misprediction rate. So, the proposed approach shows the best prediction results of cervical cancer in its early stageswith the help of patient clinical records, and all medical professionals will get beneficial diagnosing approachesfrom this study and detect cervical cancer in its early stages which reduce the overall death ratio of women due tocervical cancer.
