The correlation between technological innovation,economic growth,renewable energy,and ecological footprint carries significant policy implications for environmental ***,financial inclusion can drastically affect the technology-climate nexus across different countries and its moderating impacts have received sufficient *** do this,this study examined how technological innovation,financial inclusion,economic growth,and renewable energy affected emerging economies’ecological footprint from 1990 to ***,this study also scrutinizes the moderating role of financial inclusion with other regressors on ecological *** account for structural shifts,disguised cointegration,and numerous breaks in panel regression,this study applies advanced panel estimation methods for empirical *** estimated outcomes exhibit that the influence of technical innovation,climate technologies,and renewable energy significantly reduces the ecological footprint ***,economic growth and financial inclusion significantly increase the ecological footprint levels in the emerging ***,the integration of innovative technology and renewable energy in emerging countries mitigates the adverse effects of financial inclusion by making it easier for creative technologies and reducing ecological *** results show that emerging countries’innovative technology and renewable energy sources should be integrated with financial inclusion to enable longterm mitigation of environmental damages and sustainable *** on these estimated findings,the research recommends that emerging economies should hasten technological innovations along with stronger financial development to curtail ecological concerns without hindering the pace of sustainable economic growth.

Crop simulation models constitute the major proportion in decision support systems.A large number of crop models have been developed for potato and few for tomato and *** the literature,thirty three crop models have been reported to simulate potato,nine for tomato and six for *** of these models dealt with the climate change scenario and others with the crop management practices such as sowing time,irrigation,nitrogen,and insect-pests *** most evaluated and applied models for potato include;SUBSTOR,and LINTUL-Potato,whereas CROPGRO-tomato model is the most tested and applied for *** AQUACROP is the most widely used model to simulate the water *** CROPGRO model has been tested for elevated temperatures and CO_(2) under greenhouse conditions for *** tomato and peppers,almost similar models have been applied for field conditions as well as under greenhouse environments with some *** dynamics has been widely tested by employing the EU-Rotate-N model for tomato and *** studies dealing with changing climate conditions are rare in potato and are not found for tomato and *** modify potato,tomato and peppers models for climate impact studies,it is required that they are(a)calibrated and evaluated with new cultivars under various agro-environmental conditions and(b)assessed under varying field conditions under changing climates and crop management practices,including temperature increases,water and nutrient management and their *** comprehensive model studies and modifications need a collaborative international effort and a multi-year,large scale field research studies on potato,tomato and peppers.

Thermal Decomposition Kinetics of Some Di- and Triorganotin（IV） Carboxylates Derived from para-Nitrophenylethanoic Acid

Thermogravimetric （TG） investigations of organotin（IV） carboxylates with the general formula RmSnL4-m （where R=CH3, C2H5, n-C4H9, C6H5, cyclo-C6H11, n-C8H17, m=2, 3, and L=para-nitrophenylethanoate anion） have been performed. Derivative thermogravimetry （DTG） and differential thermal analysis （DTA） techniques, Horowitz-Metzger method and the fundamental thermodynamic relations are used to evaluate the thermokinetic pa- rameters of each thermal degradation pattern. Results reveal that the thermal stability is functional to Sn--C and Sn--O bonds. In the case of R2SnL2, activation energy, reaction order and pre-exponential factor associated with the bulk degradation processes increase as the alkane chain length increases. Hence, Oct2SnL2 is thermally more stable than Bu2SnL2, which in turn is more resistant to thermal dissociation than Et2SnL2. The same phenomenon is not observed for R3SnL compounds because their degradation is highly irregular. Furthermore, R2SnL2 has larger values of kinetic parameters than those of corresponding triorganotin（IV） para-nitrophenylethanotes. Thermodynamic parameters of these compounds also reinforce the above facts.

Asymptomatic dengue infection in adults of major cities of Pakistan

Objective: To determine the asymptomatic dengue infection in adults of Pakistani ***: This study was conducted in five major cities(Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore,Multan, and Peshawar) of Pakistan.A total of 5 230 adults aged 18 years and above without a history of dengue fever at any point in their life were enrolled from participating *** who were confirmed for dengue previously were *** the total, 62.6%(n = 3 276) were male with an average age of 34.6 *** were briefed about the objectives of the study, and written consent was obtained to perform dengue Ig G test using enzyme linked immunosorbent *** brief information related to age, gender and area was also taken on ***: Overall 32.3%(n = 1 691) was having asymptomatic dengue infection which was 67.5%(n = 756) in Karachi followed by 39.1%(n = 391) in Islamabad, 29.9%(n =316) in Lahore and 21%(n = 228) in Peshawar and none from *** males were affected with asymptomatic dengue infection than *** asymptomatic dengue infection was significantly higher in different cities; however, there was no significant difference with respect to age ***: The asymptomatic dengue infection is higher in cities ***,Islamabad and Lahore which are at risk of developing secondary dengue *** is a need of awareness among the public about secondary dengue infection.

Optimization of gob ventilation boreholes design in longwall mining

Gob ventilation boreholes(GVBs)are widely used for degasification in *** coal *** on geological conditions,30–50%of methane can be recovered from longwall gob using GVBs.A NIOSH funded research at the Colorado School of Mines confirmed that GVBs can efficiently reduce methane at the ***,GVBs can also draw some fresh air from the face and create explosive gas zones(EGZs).Explosive gas mixtures may be formed in gob areas due to the increased ingress of oxygen from *** is critical to identify the locations for GVBs for maximizing extraction of methane and minimizing hazards of *** study analyzes the effect of operating parameters and design of GVB on methane extraction,EGZs formation,and face and tailgate methane *** extraction,formation of EGZs,and concentration of methane in working areas are significantly impacted by various *** factors include the distance of work face and tailgate from GVBs,diameter of GVBs,vacuum pressure of wellhead,GVB distance from the roof of the coal seam,and number of operating GVBs in a *** fluid dynamics(CFD)evaluations suggest optimal design and operating parameters of GVBs that can contribute to maximum benefits with minimum risks.

Early vs late cholecystectomy in mild gall stone pancreatitis: Anupdated meta-analysis and review of literature

BACKGROUND Gallstone pancreatitis is one of the most common causes of acute *** remains the definitive treatment of choice to prevent *** rate of early cholecystectomies during index admission remains low due toperceived increased risk of *** compare outcomes including length of stay, duration of surgery, biliarycomplications, conversion to open cholecystectomy, intra-operative, and postoperativecomplications between patients who undergo cholecystectomy duringindex admission as compared to those who undergo cholecystectomy *** Method: Pooled proportions were calculated using both Mantel-Haenszel method (fixed effects model) and DerSimonian Laird method (randomeffects model).RESULTSInitial search identified 163 reference articles, of which 45 were selected andreviewed. Eighteen studies (n = 2651) that met the inclusion criteria were includedin this analysis. Median age of patients in the late group was 43.8 years while thatin the early group was 43.6. Pooled analysis showed late laparoscopiccholecystectomy group was associated with an increased length of stay by 88.96 h(95%CI: 86.31 to 91.62) as compared to early cholecystectomy group. Pooled riskdifference for biliary complications was higher by 10.76% (95%CI: 8.51 to 13.01) in the late cholecystectomy group as compared to the early cholecystectomy *** analysis showed no risk difference in intraoperative complications [riskdifference: 0.41%, (95%CI: -1.58 to 0.75)], postoperative complications [riskdifference: 0.60%, (95%CI: -2.21 to 1.00)], or conversion to open cholecystectomy[risk difference: 1.42%, (95%CI: -0.35 to 3.21)] between early and latecholecystectomy groups. Trends in species distribution modelling in context of rare and endemic plants:a systematic review

Background:Many research papers have utilized Species Distribution Models to estimate a species’current and future geographic distribution and environmental *** study aims to(a)understand critical features of SDMs used to model endemic and rare species and(b)to identify possible constraints with the collected *** present systematic review examined how SDMs are used on endemic and rare plant species to identify optimal practices for future ***:The evaluated literature(79 articles)was published between January 2010 and December *** number of papers grew considerably over *** studies were primarily conducted in Asia(41%),Europe(24%),and Africa(2%).The bulk of the research evaluated(38%)focused on theoretical ecology,climate change impacts(19%),and conservation policy and planning(22%).Most of the papers were published in publications devoted to biodiversity conservation,ecological or multidisciplinary *** degree of uncertainty was not disclosed in most studies(81%).Conclusion:This systematic review provides a broad overview of the emerging trends and gaps in the SDMs *** majority of studies failed to present uncertainties and error ***,when model performance estimates are given,the model results will be highly effective,allowing for more assurance in the predictions they ***,based on our systematic review,we recommend that in the future rare and endemic SDMs should represent uncertainty levels and estimates of errors in the modelling process.

Topological evolution of laminar juncture flows under different critical parameters

Horseshoe vortex topological structure has been studied extensively in the past,traditional"saddle of separation"and new"attachment saddle point"topologies found in literature both have theoretical basis and experimental and computational evidences for *** laminar incompressible juncture flows at low Reynolds numbers especially are observed to have new *** concerning the existence of the new topology though found in literature,the topological evolution and its dependency on various critical flow parameters require further investigation.A Particle Image Velocimetry based analysis is carried out to observe the effect of aspect ratio,?*/D and shape of the obstacle on laminar horseshoe vortex topology for small *** in aspect ratio evolves the topology from the traditional to new for all the cases *** circular cross section obstacles are found more apt to having the new topology compared to square cross *** is noted that the sweeping effect of the fluid above the vortex system in which horseshoe vortex is immersed plays a critical role in this *** evolution is observed not only in the most upstream singular point region of horseshoe vortex system but also in the corner *** corner vortex topology evolves from the traditional type to new one before the topological evolution of the most upstream singular point,resulting in a new topological pattern of the laminar juncture flows"separation-attachment combination".The study may help extend the understanding of the three-dimensional boundary layer separation phenomenon.

Deficiencies of essential vitamins,iron(Fe),and zinc(Zn)affect over one-half of the world’s population.A significant progress has been made to control micronutrient deficiencies through supplementation,but new approaches are needed,especially to reach the rural *** biofortification of pulses with Zn,Fe,and boron(B)offers a pragmatic solution to combat hidden hunger instead of food fortification and ***,it also has positive effects on crop production as ***,we conducted three separate field experiments for two consecutive years to evaluate the impact of soil and foliar application of the aforementioned nutrients on the yield and seed biofortification of *** application of Zn at 0,4.125,8.25,Fe at 0,2.5,5.0 and B at 0,0.55,1.1 kg ha−1 was done in the first,second and third experiment,*** application in these experiments was done at 0.3%Zn,0.2%Fe and 0.1%B respectively one week after flowering *** revealed that soil-applied Zn,Fe and B at 8.25,5.0 and 1.1 kg ha−1,respectively,enhanced the grain yield of mungbean;however,this increase in yield was statistically similar to that recorded with Zn,Fe and B at 4.125,2.5 and 0.55 kg ha−1,*** application of these nutrients at flower initiation significantly enhanced the Zn contents by 28%and 31%,Fe contents by 80%and 78%,while B contents by 98%and 116%over control during 2019 and 2020,*** was concluded from the results that soil application of Zn,Fe,and B enhanced the yield performance of mungbean;while significant improvements in seed Zn,Fe,and B contents were recorded with foliar application of these nutrients.
