The development of new materials,having exceptional properties in comparison to existing materials is highly required for bringing advancement in electronic and optoelectronic *** this fact,we investigated structural,electronic,and optical properties of zincblende GaN doped with selected Zn concentrations(6.25%,12.50%,and 18.70%),using the first-principle calculations based on density functional theory with GGA+*** conducted the entire study using the WIEN2K *** this study,we calculated various significant parametric quantities such as cohesive energies,formation energies,bulk moduli,and lattice constants along with the study of optical and electronic properties by substituting Ga atoms with Zn atoms in 1×2×2 *** structural stability is confirmed by studying the phonon dispersion curves which suggest that Zn:GaN material is stable against the 6.25%and 18.70%Zn concentrations while for 12.50%,it shows *** Hubbard values U=0,2,4,6 eV were added to GGA and the electronic properties were improved with the U=6 *** absorption was blue shifted while the refractive index and dielectric constant were increased with increasing the Zn *** properties are enhanced due to the prime contribution of cations(Zn)3ri *** optical and electronic properties are further discussed in detail in the entire study.

Modelling of debris-flow susceptibility and propagation: a case study from Northwest Himalaya

The geological and geographical position of the Northwest Himalayas makes it a vulnerable area for mass movements particularly landslides and debris flows. Mass movements have had a substantial impact on the study area which is extending along Karakorum Highway(KKH) from Besham to Chilas. Intense seismicity, deep gorges, steep terrain and extreme climatic events trigger multiple mountain hazards along the KKH, among which debris flow is recognized as the most destructive geohazard. This study aims to prepare a field-based debris flow inventory map at a regional scale along a 200 km stretch from Besham to Chilas. A total of 117 debris flows were identified in the field, and subsequently, a point-based debris-flow inventory and catchment delineation were performed through Arc GIS analysis. Regional scale debris flow susceptibility and propagation maps were prepared using Weighted Overlay Method(WOM) and Flow-R technique sequentially. Predisposing factors include slope, slope aspect, elevation, Topographic Roughness Index(TRI), Topographic Wetness Index(TWI), stream buffer, distance to faults, lithology rainfall, curvature, and collapsed material layer. The dataset was randomly divided into training data(75%) and validation data(25%). Results were validated through the Receiver Operator Characteristics(ROC) curve. Results show that Area Under the Curve(AUC) using WOM model is 79.2%. Flow-R propagation of debris flow shows that the 13.15%, 22.94%, and 63.91% areas are very high, high, and low susceptible to debris flow respectively. The propagation predicated by Flow-R validates the naturally occurring debris flow propagation as observed in the field surveys. The output of this research will provide valuable input to the decision makers for the site selection, designing of the prevention system, and for the protection of current infrastructure.

ROBO-SPOT:Detecting Robocalls by Understanding User Engagement and Connectivity Graph

Robo or unsolicited calls have become a persistent issue in telecommunication networks,posing significant challenges to individuals,businesses,and regulatory *** calls not only trick users into disclosing their private and financial information,but also affect their productivity through unwanted phone ringing.A proactive approach to identify and block such unsolicited calls is essential to protect users and service providers from potential ***,this paper proposes a solution to identify robo-callers in the telephony network utilising a set of novel features to evaluate the trustworthiness of callers in a *** trust score of the callers is then used along with machine learning models to classify them as legitimate or *** use a large anonymized dataset(call detailed records)from a large telecommunication provider containing more than 1 billion records collected over 10 *** have conducted extensive evaluation demonstrating that the proposed approach achieves high accuracy and detection rate whilst minimizing the error ***,the proposed features when used collectively achieve a true-positive rate of around 97%with a false-positive rate of less than 0.01%.

Environmental issues associated with the aviation industry are getting more attention as air traffic *** standards are imposed for fuel consumption and pollution emissions for next-generation *** electrical propulsion aircraft(SEPA)have been seen as an efficient way to achieve this ***-temperature superconducting(HTS)devices are extensively used in the power system to supply enormous *** is distributed to the different loads via a DC distribution ***,it will generate an inrush current over ten times higher than the rated current in short-circuit state,which is very harmful to the ***,it is essential to adopt an appropriate protection *** paper discusses one protection scheme that combines DC vacuum circuit breakers(DC VCB)and resistive superconducting current limiters(RSFCL)for superconducting aircraft *** problems of cost and loss,the auxiliary capacitor is pre-charged by system voltage,and mechanical elements extinguish the ***,combined with RSFCL,the interrupting environment is fully *** limits fault current,and then the VCB breaks this limited current based on creating an artificial current zero(ACZ).The prospective rated power is 8MW,rated voltage and current are 4 kV and 1 kA,*** this paper,we discuss and simulate switching devices that protect *** interrupting performance of the circuit breaker is analysed in the DC short-circuit fault that occurs on the transmission ***,the residual energy consumption of different situations is calculated.A comparison is made between using RSFCL with metal oxide varistor(MOV)and just using *** scheme with RSFCL shows a significant advantage in energy consumption.

A Hybrid Model for Improving Software Cost Estimation in Global Software Development

Accurate software cost estimation in Global Software Development(GSD)remains challenging due to reliance on historical data and expert *** models,such as the Constructive Cost Model(COCOMO II),rely heavily on historical and accurate *** addition,expert judgment is required to set many input parameters,which can introduce subjectivity and variability in the estimation ***,there is a need to improve the current GSD models to mitigate reliance on historical data,subjectivity in expert judgment,inadequate consideration of GSD-based cost drivers and limited integration of modern technologies with cost *** study introduces a novel hybrid model that synergizes the COCOMO II with Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)to address these *** proposed hybrid model integrates additional GSD-based cost drivers identified through a systematic literature review and further vetted by industry *** article compares the effectiveness of the proposedmodelwith state-of-the-artmachine learning-basedmodels for software cost *** the NASA 93 dataset by adopting twenty-six GSD-based cost drivers reveals that our hybrid model achieves superior accuracy,outperforming existing *** findings indicate the potential of combining COCOMO II,ANN,and additional GSD-based cost drivers to transform cost estimation in GSD.

Single-cell and spatial omics:exploring hypothalamic heterogeneity

Elucidating the complex dynamic cellular organization in the hypothalamus is critical for understanding its role in coordinating fundamental body functions. Over the past decade, single-cell and spatial omics technologies have significantly evolved, overcoming initial technical challenges in capturing and analyzing individual cells. These high-throughput omics technologies now offer a remarkable opportunity to comprehend the complex spatiotemporal patterns of transcriptional diversity and cell-type characteristics across the entire hypothalamus. Current single-cell and single-nucleus RNA sequencing methods comprehensively quantify gene expression by exploring distinct phenotypes across various subregions of the hypothalamus. However, single-cell/single-nucleus RNA sequencing requires isolating the cell/nuclei from the tissue, potentially resulting in the loss of spatial information concerning neuronal networks. Spatial transcriptomics methods, by bypassing the cell dissociation, can elucidate the intricate spatial organization of neural networks through their imaging and sequencing technologies. In this review, we highlight the applicative value of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics in exploring the complex molecular-genetic diversity of hypothalamic cell types, driven by recent high-throughput achievements.

近年来,随着气体绝缘金属封闭开关(gas insulated switcher,GIS)组合电器成为110 kV及以上变电站的主流使用设备,其设备因为产品质量、安装工艺和复杂环境等导致的漏气问题也逐渐凸显出来。GIS漏气缺陷因涉及停电计划、施工周期和工艺难度等问题往往不能得到及时处理。文章提出一种GIS组合电器设备漏气气室自动保压系统,该系统具备以下特性:可实现自动控制补气,使漏气气室在压力降到报警值时及时得到补充;可实现人工远程和自动控制、就地控制多模式操作;采用电磁阀和止回阀结合的双保险结构,可有效防止设备在补气过程中的气体倒灌;采用并联SF6气瓶组的方式为自动补气系统提供充足气体压力,并可动态监测气瓶组气压状态,且具备低气压远程报警功能,及时提醒检修人员更换气瓶;该系统可通过计数功能统计气室的漏气速率并上传后台云端,为检修人员的统计补气周期和后期解体检修提供可靠依据。通过制作一套漏气气室自动保压实物仿真系统,验证了该装置的可行性。

Crosstalk of liver immune cells and cell death mechanisms in different murine models of liver injury and its clinical relevance

BACKGROUND： Liver inflammation or hepatitis is a result of pluripotent interactions of cell death molecules, cytokines, chemokines and the resident immune cells collectively called as microenvironment. The interplay of these inflammatory mediators and switching of immune responses during hepatotoxic, viral, drug-induced and immune cell-mediated hepatitis decide the fate of liver pathology. The present review aimed to describe the mechanisms of liver injury, its relevance to human liver pathology and insights for the future therapeutic *** SOURCES： The data of mouse hepatic models and rele- vant human liver diseases presented in this review are system- atically collected from PubMed, ScienceDirect and the Web of Science databases published in English. RESULTS： The hepatotoxic liver injury in mice induced by the metabolites of CC14, acetaminophen or alcohol represent ne- crotic cell death with activation of cytochrome pathway, for- mation of reactive oxygen species （ROS） and mitochondrial damage. The Fas or TNF-a induced apoptotic liver injury was dependent on activation of caspases, release of cytochrome c and apoptosome formation. The ConA-hepatitis demonstrat- ed the involvement of TRAIL-dependent necrotic/necroptotic cell death with activation of RIPK1/3. The a-GalCer-induced liver injury was mediated by TNF-a. The LPS-induced hepatitis involved TNF-a, Fas/FasL, and perforin/granzyme cell death pathways. The MHV3 or Poly（I：C） induced liver injury was mediated by natural killer cells and TNF-a signaling. The necrotic ischemia-reperfusion liver injury was mediated by hypoxia, ROS, and pro-inflammatory cytokines; however, necroptotic cell death was found in partial hepatectomy. The crucial role of immune ceils and cell death mediators in viral hepatitis （HBV, HCV）, drug-induced liver injury, non-alcohol- ic fatty liver disease and alcoholic liver disease in human were discussed. Novel Approach for a van der Pol Oscillator in the Continuous Time Domain
