以引起豆腐腐败的特定腐败菌库特氏菌为研究对象,研究不同温度对其生长的影响,定量评价温度对豆腐货架期的影响,为货架期快速有效的估测提供有效的手段。将库特氏菌接种到豆腐表面,在4、12、20、30℃条件下贮藏,由此建立一级和二级生长动力学模型以及剩余货架期预测模型。结果表明,Gompertz函数能够很好的描述豆腐中的微生物生长动态,建立了4种温度下豆腐的微生物生长动力学模型。采用平方根模型(Belehradek)描述温度对最大比生长速率(μmax)和延滞时间(Lag)的影响,结果表明呈现良好的线性关系。用豆腐在8℃和25℃的库特氏菌实测值进行验证,偏差度(Bf)和准确度(Af)分别为1.04、1.02和1.20、1.18。获得的剩余货架期的预测模型为:SL=Lag-[(8.6-N0)/(μmax·2.718)]·{ln[-ln(7.14-N0)/(8.6–N0)]-1},用豆腐贮藏在8℃和25℃的货架期实测值验证建立的模型,预测值和实测值的相对误差分别为-3.47%和4.89%,说明建立的模型能够快速可靠的预测豆腐的微生物学品质和剩余货架期。

Thermoelectric materials have been a competent source for the production of energy in the present *** most important and potential parameter required for the material to have better thermoelectric characteristics is the Seebeck *** this work,ultra high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)and graphene oxide(GO)nanocomposites were prepared by mechanical mixing by containing 10000ppm,50000ppm,70000ppm,100000ppm,150000ppm,and 200000ppm loadings of graphene *** to the intrinsic insulating nature of UHMWPE,the value of Seebeck for pristine UHMWPE and its nanocomposites with 10000ppm&50000ppm of GO concentration was too low to be ***,the Seebeck coefficient for composites with 70000ppm,100000ppm,150000ppm,and 200000ppm loadings of GO was found to be 180,206,230,and 235μV/K,*** higher values of Seebeck coefficients were attributed to the superior thermal insulating nature of UHMWPE and the conductive network induced by the GO within the UHMWPE insulating ***,the values of the figure of merit and power factor were negligibly small due to the lower concentration of charge carriers in UHMWPE/GO nanocomposites but still reported,results are extremely hopeful for considering the composite as the potential candidate for thermoelectric applications.

Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.) germplasm consisting 167 accessions including one check cultivar was evaluated for qualitative and quantitative traits. The present study was conducted to investigate genetic diversity and correlation among studied genotypes of B. juncea L. based on agro-morphological at NARC, Islamabad, Pakistan. To investigate the genetic diversity based on morphological characters, data was recorded on 20 quantitative and 12 qualitative traits. The calculated data was analyzed through two complementary methods, i.e. PCA (Principal Component Analysis) and cluster analysis. Among all the studied cultivars, significant diversity was recorded for different agro-morphological characters. Among all the parameters, maximum variance was recorded for pod shattering (427.2) followed by plant height (345.6), days to 100% flowering (336.2) and main raceme length (210.0). Among all the characters, the greatest and highly significant association (0.99) was found between days to maturity 50% and days to maturity 100% followed by correlation (0.86) among days to flowering 50% and days to flowering 100%, correlation value (0.71) was calculated among leaf length and leaf width. Using cluster analysis all the genotypes were divided into five major groups. It was observed that 7 out of 20 principal components with an Eigen value of ≥1.0 calculated for 73.92% of the total diversity observed between 167 accessions of Indian mustard (B. juncea L.). The contribution of first three PCs in the total PCs was 23.25, 12.87 and 11.24, respectively. Among all the investigated accessions two genotypes 26,813 and 26,817 showed great potential for seeds/silique, 1000-seed weight and seed yield/plant, respectively, so these genotypes are recommended for future breeding programs for achieving promising results.

为了研究Co空位对Mn_3CoN化合物磁性质和热膨胀性能的影响,采用固相烧结法制备了名义配比为Mn_3Co_(1-x)N(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.3)的反钙钛矿结构化合物,并研究了该类化合物的晶格、磁转变和热膨胀性能。结果表明:所有的样品均显示出2个磁转变点;随着x的增加,低温磁转变点往高温移动,高温磁转变点往低温移动;同时,所有的样品中都发现了反常热膨胀行为,包括低于270K的低热膨胀和270K附近的负热膨胀;低热膨胀区间的线膨胀系数随着x的增加而呈现出减小的趋势;值得注意的是,当x=0.3时,样品在100~240 K温度区间内显示出近零热膨胀行为,其热膨胀系数α=9.70×10^(-7) K^(-1);Mn_3Co_(1-x)N化合物中的反常热膨胀行为可能是磁体积效应所致。

Salt stress is a severe threat to agricultural productivity in many parts of the world. Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum) is an economically important fiber crop globally, and is regarded as a model crop for salinity tolerance research. Although cotton is a relatively salt-tolerant plant, its growth and development, as well as fiber yield and quality, are greatly reduced by severe salt conditions. Salinity tolerance studies in cotton have focused on finding the key molecular genetic processes activated in response to salt stress, for breeding salt-tolerant cotton genotypes. In response to salt stress, cotton exhibits a variety of changes at the molecular, biochemical,and physiological levels. Photosynthetic pathways and metabolism play pivotal roles in redox balance and ion homeostasis. Several stress signaling pathways e.g. abscisic acid, salt overly sensitive(SOS),mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK), reactive oxygen species(ROS),and membrane bound Na+/H+antiporters, all participate in salinity tolerance. The activation and regulation of specific genes drive this physiological and biochemical plasticity. In cotton, the roles of several transcription factors(e.g. WRKY, ZFP, NAC, DREB, bZIP and ERF) in salt stress tolerance have been well documented. We also highlight the potential areas for future investigation to elucidate the key pathways for effective breeding of salt-tolerant cotton genotypes.

Objective:To explore and understand the attitude towards dengue vaccination and its modifiable determinants among inhabitants of Aceh(northern Sumatra Island,Indonesia),the region that was most severely affected by the earthquake and tsunami of 26 December ***:A communitybased,cross-sectional study was conducted among 535 healthy inhabitants in nine regencies(Kabupaten or Kotamadya) of Aceh that were selected randomly from November 2014 to March 2015.A set of validated,pre-tested,structured questionnaires was used to guide the *** questionnaires covered a range of explanatory variables and one outcome variable(attitude to dengue vaccination).Multi-step logistic regression analysis and Spearman's rank correlation were used to test the role of explanatory variables for the outcome ***:More than 70%of the participants had a poor attitude towards dengue *** determinants associated with poor attitude to dengue vaccination were low education level,working as farmers and traditional market traders,low socioeconomic status and poor knowledge,attitude and practice regarding dengue fever(P<0.05).The KAP domain scores were correlated strongly with attitude to dengue vaccination,r_s=0.25,r_S=0.67 and r_s=0.20,respectively(P<0.001).Multivariate analysis found that independent predictors associated with attitude towards dengue vaccination among study participants were only sex and attitude towards dengue fever(P<0.001).Conclusions:This study reveals that low KAP regarding dengue fever,low education level and low socioeconomic status are associated with a poor attitude towards dengue ***,inhabitants of suburbs who are working as larmers or traditional market traders with low socioeconomic status are the most appropriate target group for a dengue vaccine introduction program.

Impact of Climate Change on Epidemiology of Various Pests of Wheat Crop in Punjab Pakistan

Wheat [Triticum aestivum L. (Poaceae)] is the staple diet of people in Pakistan. It is attacked by many types of pests. Therefore the purpose of this study was to assess the impact of climate change on the ecology and epidemiology of various wheat pests in Punjab, Pakistan. Results indicate that maximum weeds hot spots 242 (5.98%) Phalaris minor, 45 (1.18%) wild oat and 203 (5.01%) broad leaf weeds were noted in 2015. Aphid 31 (0.86%) hot spots were recorded in 2016 while maximum army worm 13 (0.26%) hot spots were noted in 2017. Maximum 70 (1.73%) spots of yellow rust and 85 (2.10%) hot spots of brown rust were observed during 2015 while 84 (4.16%) spots of loose smut were observed during 2017. ANOVA shows that years have no significant difference (P > 0.05) but weeks have significant effect on occurrence of these pest incidences except brown rust. But regression ANOVA was significant (P ≤ 0.05) and regression models equations have been developed on the bases of recorded data. Pest incidence was taken as dependent variable Y and weather factors i.e. minimum temperature as X1, maximum temperature as X2, relative humidity as X3 and rain fall as X4 were taken as independent variables. This study will help in recommendations for moving forward aiming at integration of biology of rust and smut diseases of wheat with changing climate for development of resistant varieties for resilient and durable management of these pathogens.
