GeoChip-based microbial functions in biogeochemical cycles and their responses to environmental factors in Tengchong hot springs

Microorganisms actively participate in biogeochemical cycling processes and play a crucial role in maintaining the dynamic balance of hot spring ecosystems. However， the distribution of microbial functional genes and their influencing factors in hot springs remain largely unclear. Therefore， this study investigated the microbial functional genes and their potential for controlling biogeochemical cycles (C， N， S， and P) in the hot Springs of Tengchong， China， using the Geochip method， a functional gene microarray technology. The examined hot springs have very different microbial functional genes. A total of 22736 gene probe signals were identified， belonging to 567 functional genes and associated with 15 ecological functions， mainly involving stress response， carbon cycle， nitrogen cycle， sulfur cycle， phosphorus cycle and energy processes. The amyA， narG， dsrA and ppx genes were most abundant in carbon， nitrogen， sulfur and phosphorus cycles， respectively， and were significantly correlated with pH， temperature and SO42-. The diversity and abundance of detected gene probes were negatively correlated with temperature. The α-diversity (i.e.， Shannon index) was high at low temperature and low pH. Molecular functional interactions revealed by the gene connectivity levels were negatively correlated with temperature， pH and SO42-. These results suggested that the abundance， diversity and interactions of microbial functional genes were significantly influenced by geochemical parameters?. In addition， some genera possessed functional genes related to carbon， nitrogen， sulfur， and phosphorus cycles and can synergistically control the biogeochemical cycles of carbon， nitrogen， sulfur and phosphorus. These findings provide new insights into the functional potentials of microorganisms to participate in biogeochemical cycles and their responses to environmental factors in hot springs.

IIF(Indirect Immune Florescence)has gained much attention recently due to its importance in medical *** primary purpose of this work is to highlight a step-by-step methodology for detecting autoimmune *** use of IIF for detecting autoimmune diseases is widespread in different medical *** 80 different types of autoimmune diseases have existed in various body *** IIF has been used for image classification in both ways,manually and by using the Computer-Aided Detection(CAD)*** data scientists conducted various research works using an automatic CAD system with low *** diseases in the human body can be detected with the help of Transfer Learning(TL),an advanced Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)*** baseline paper applied the manual classification to the MIVIA dataset of Human Epithelial cells(HEP)type II cells and the Sub Class Discriminant(SDA)analysis technique used to detect autoimmune *** technique yielded an accuracy of up to 90.03%,which was not reliable for detecting autoimmune disease in the mitotic cells of the *** the current research,the work has been performed on the MIVIA data set of HEP type II cells by using four well-known models of *** augmentation and normalization have been applied to the dataset to overcome the problem of overfitting and are also used to improve the performance of TL *** models are named Inception V3,Dens Net 121,VGG-16,and Mobile Net,and their performance can be calculated through parameters of the confusion matrix(accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 measures).The results show that the accuracy value of VGG-16 is 78.00%,Inception V3 is 92.00%,Dense Net 121 is 95.00%,and Mobile Net shows 88.00%accuracy,***,DenseNet-121 shows the highest performance with suitable analysis of autoimmune *** overall performance highlighted that TL is a suitable and enhanced technique compared to its ***,the proposed technique is used

Effect of structural variation in biomass-derived nonfluorinated ionic liquids electrolytes on the performance of supercapacitors

There is a growing interest in sustainable and high performance supercapacitors(SCs) operating at elevated temperatures as they are highly demanded in heat-durable electronics. Here, we present a biomass-derived nonfluorinated ionic liquid(IL) [P_(4444)][HFuA] and its structural analogue [P_(4444)][TpA]as electrolytes for supercapacitors comprising multiwall carbon nanotubes and activated charcoal(MWCNTs/AC) mixed carbon composite electrodes. A detailed investigation of the effect of scan rate, temperature, potential window and orientation of ions on the electrodes surfaces is performed. The supercapacitors exhibited relatively lower specific capacitance for both [P_(4444)][HFuA] and [P_(4444)][TpA] ILs at room temperature. However, the specific capacitance has significantly increased with an increase in temperature and potential window. The equivalent serie resistances of the SCs is deceased with increasing temperatures, which is a result of improved ionic conductivities of the IL electrolytes. In CV cycling at60 °C, the capacitor with [P_(4444)][HFuA] IL-based electrolyte retained about 90% of its initial capacitance,while the capacitor with [P_(4444)][TpA] IL-based electrolyte retained about 83% of its initial *** computations revealed that the aromatic [FuA]^(-) and [TpA]^(-) anions displayed perpendicular distribution that can effectively neutralize charges on the carbon surfaces. However, the [HFuA]-anion exhibited somewhat tilted configurations on the carbon electrode surfaces, contributing to their outstanding capacitive performance in electrochemical devices.

General Solution for Unsteady Natural Convection Flow with Heat and Mass in the Presence of Wall Slip and Ramped Wall Temperature

This work is focused on the effect of heat and mass transfer with unsteady natural convection flow of viscous fluid along with ramped wall temperature under the assumption of the slip wall condition at the boundary. Analytical solutions are obtained by using Laplace transformation to the non-dimensional set of governing equations containing velocity, temperature and concentration. Moreover, the expression for skin-friction is derived by differentiating the analytical solutions of fluid velocity. Numerical tables for Skin-friction, Sherwood number and Nusselt-number are examined. For the physical aspects of the flow, we use various values of involved physical parameters such as Prandtl number(Pr), slip parameter(η), Schmidt number(Sc), buoyancy ratio parameter(N), Sherwood number(Sh), and time(t). Additionally, the general solutions are plotted graphically and a comprehensive theoretical section of numerical discussions is included.

The effect of replacing the anion from N to Bi down the group in the periodic table is investigated on SrMg2X2（X = N,P,As,Sb,Bi）.A full potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbitals method is used along with different exchange–correlation potentials to obtain the lattice constants,phonons,electronic,and optical properties of the Sr Mg2X2（X = N,P,As,Sb,Bi） Zintl compounds.A good agreement is achieved and our calculations are validated by previous experimental and theoretical *** compounds have shown stable dynamical behavior with gamma centered longitudinal response having no imaginary *** band structures reveal the semiconducting nature of the *** Pnictogen（X）-p state contributed mainly in the valence band and the Sr-d state forms the conduction of the *** charge transfer and low overlapping of the atomic densities indicates the preferable ionic bonding character of these *** the optical properties,real and imaginary parts of dielectric function,complex refractive index,birefringence,reflectivity,and optical conductivity are *** compounds can be utilized in the optical and optoelectronic devices.

Counter-current three-phase fluidization in a turbulent contact absorber： A CFD simulation

A computational fluid dynamics study of three-phase counter-current fluidization occurring in a turbu- lent contact absorber was performed. A two-dimensional, transient Eulerian multi-fluid model was used, in which the dispersed solid phase was modeled employing a kinetic theory of granular flow. The grid independence of the model, the effect of wall boundary conditions, the choice of granular temperature model, the effects of order of discretization scheme and drag models were studied for a base case setting, The results of simulations were validated against experimental results obtained from the literature. Once the model settings were finalized, simulations were performed for different gas and liquid velocities to predict the hydrodynamics of the absorber. Computed bed expansion and pressure drop were compared with experimental data. Good agreement between the two was found for low velocities of gas and liquid.

In this article comparative analysis of various semi-numerical schemes has beenmade for the case of squeezing flow of an incompressible viscous fluid between two largeparallel plates having no-slip at the *** medium of flow contains magnetohy-drodynamic(MHD)effect and having small *** boundary value problem is solvedanalytically using Optimal homotopy asymptotic method(OHAM),homotopy perturbationmethod(HPM),differential transform method(DTM),Daftardar Jafari method(DIM)andAdomian decomposition method(ADM).For comparison purpose,residuals of these schemeshave been found and analyzed for *** study indicates that DTM and DJM arequite good in tem of accuracy near the center of domain[—1,1]but the accuracy reducesconsiderably near the start and end of the given *** and OHAM residuals indicatethat OHAM surpasses HPM in terms of accuracy in the present case.

Integrated Weed Management Through Tillage and Herbicides for Wheat Production in Rice-Wheat Cropping System in Northwestern Pakistan

Conservational tillage （CT） in combination with broad spectrum herbicide may be more efficient and economical in controlling weeds, reducing cost of cultivation, and enhancing wheat yield. Field experiments were carried out to evaluate the effect of tillage and herbicides on weeds and wheat yield under rice-wheat cropping system （RWCS）. The results indicated that broad spectrum herbicides particularly, carfentrazone ethyl ester＋ isoproturon （Affinity 50 WDG） reduced weeds density by 93 and 95% compared to control and also produced the maximum grain yield （6 818 and 6 996 kg ha-l） and HI （harvest index, 44.7 and 44.6%） in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 growing seasons, respectively. The maximum weeds infestation and the lowest yield were recorded in control. Tillage methods significantly influenced grain yield and HI, while no significant effect on all other parameters. The overall mean yield was significantly higher in zero tillage （5 575 kg ha-l） and reduced tillage （5 584 kg ha-l） compared to CT （5 479 kg ha-^-1）. Besides increasing wheat yield, Affinity 50 WDG and zero tillage are important weed management practices that can be integrated into wheat production in RWCS. However, in case of perennial weeds or insect pests＇ infestation, CT in combination with Affinity 50 WDG would be more productive than conservation tillage.

Growth and yield of rice as affected by transplanting dates and seedlings per hill under high temperature of Dera Ismail khan, Pakistan

Studies were initiated for two consecutive years to find out the effect of time of transplanting and seedlings hill^-l on the productivity of rice in Dera Ismail khan district of North West Frontier Province （NWFP）, Pakistan. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with split plot arrangements. Main plots consisted of four transplanting dates viz. 20th and 27th of June and 4th and 1 lth of July while sub-plots contained 1, 2, 3 or 4 seedlings hill^-1. Among transplanting dates, June 20th planted crop gave highest paddy yield and net return with I seedling hill^-1. It explains that the use of more seedlings hill^-1 not only adds to cost but is also a mere wastage of natural resources. Based on research findings, we conclude that the use of I seedling hill^-1 is most appropriate for timely sowing otherwise 4 seedlings hill^-1 should be used to compensate for the yield gap in late transplanted rice.
