Electrodeposition of active catalysts on electrodes appears as a convenient approach to prepare non-noble-metal based electrocatalysts with defined micro- and nano-structures. Herein we report a new strategy of fabricating a 3-D hierarchical CuO nanocrystal array (CuO NCA) on Cu foam through a two-step sacrifice-template method. This CuO NCA possesses high conductivity, great stability, and impressive catalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in alkaline electrolytes. The CuO NCA can achieve a high current density of 100 mA/cm2 at a relatively low overpotential of 400 mV for OER, which shows a better performance than other Cu-based OER catalysts and IrO2. The high activity of CuO NCA is well retained during a 10-h OER test at a high current density around 270 mA/cm2, which is about 10 times higher than the current density achieved by IrO2 (around 25 mA/cm2) with the same applied overpotential. According to our best knowledge, CuO NCA is currently the most efficient and stable Cu-based electrocatalyst for water oxidation in alkaline electrolytes.

Intensive fish farming has an excessive prevalence of infection and is typically controlled by the administration of *** amalgamated antibiotics are a relatively novel therapeutic idea and more effective than traditional antibiotic monotherapy,they can also have a toxic effect on the fish body when it is administered *** study investigated the cyto-genotoxic effects on erythrocytes and histo-architectural malformations in the liver and kidneys of stinging catfish(Heteropneustes fossilis)in relation to Enrocip plus use as an amalgamated antibiotic *** experimental fish with an initial average weight of 17.38±1.94 g were divided into four treatment groups with antibiotic doses:according to the recommendation of the manufacturer 0.167 mg/ml Enrocip plus was used as a standard dose(x)and it was treated as T3,while 0%of the standard dose(0×mg/ml),1/2×(0.083 mg/ml),and 2×(0.333 mg/ml)were treated as T1,T2 and T4,respectively for a period of 30 *** observed erythrocyte cellular deformities(ECD)were twin,tear-drop,serrated,tail budded and de-membranated cells,whereas the erythrocyte nuclear deformities(END)were a nuclear bridge,bi-nucleus,nuclear termination,karyopyknosis,and micronucleus at different concentrations of Enrocip *** ECD and END percentages experienced the interaction of antibiotic dose and exposure time,and were significantly different(P<0.01).Significant changes in hepatocytes,mild to severe necrosis,vacuole formation,and hepatopancreas damage were also observed in the liver of the treated fish whereas highly degraded renal tubules and hematopoietic tissue,glomerular occlusion,and vacuolation were evident in the *** current investigation fully emphasizes the adverse effects of amalgamated antibiotics on the cytogenotoxicity and the histomorphology of the kidneys and liver of ***,the use of an amalgamated antibiotic in aquaculture must be carefully evaluated.

Objective:Ventral hernia is an anterior abdominal wall hernia,with an incidence of 2%-13%.Laparoscopic ventral hernia repair is the preferred method worldwide with all the advantages of the laparoscopic technique proven to be an effective treatment *** study aims to assess the long-term outcomes of laparoscopic management of ventral hernia repair using intraperitoneal onlay mesh(IPOM)or intraperitoneal onlay mesh with defect closure(IPOM PLUS)technique with the usage of variety of synthetic meshes ***:A retrospective study of 821 patients of a single institution for a decade was *** outcomes such as pain,mesh infections,enterocutaneous fistula,bowel adhesions and recurrence were ***:There were 801 primary,12 incisional,and 8 recurrent hernia cases,including 532 females and 289 males with a mean age of 45.62±9.37 *** PLUS were underwent in 674(82.10%)***,dual,titanium,composite meshes were applied in 473(57.61%),208(25.33%),82(9.99%),and 58(7.06%)cases *** bleeding occurred in 3(0.37%)cases,seroma in 8(0.97%),wound infection in 4(0.49%),stitch abscess in 2(0.24%).Recurrence was found in 8(0.97%)cases,with 5 used polypropylene mesh and 3 used dual *** infections were discovered in 6(2.88%)cases used dual,and foreign body sensation in 4(0.85%)cases used ***(0.37%)patients had suture site hernia,and 3(0.37%)had chronic ***:IPOM or IPOM PLUS holds good in small or medium sized ventral *** safety and efficacy of intraperitoneal polypropylene mesh is comparable to that of other synthetic meshes.A mesh overlap of minimum 5 cm beyond defect edge is must to minimise hernia *** suture can be considered as alternative to tackers.

BACKGROUND: As the host immunity is diminished in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB), different approaches have been used to up-regulate their immune responses to produce therapeutic effects. But, cytokines, growth factors and polyclonal immune modulators could not exhibit sufficient therapeutic effects in these patients. Immune therapy with HBV-related antigens (vaccine therapy) has been used in CHB patients. But there is a paucity of information about the design of HBV antigen-based immune therapy in these patients. DATA SOURCE: Preclinical and clinical studies on immune therapy with HBsAg-based vaccine, HBcAg and combination of HBsAg/HBcAg-based vaccines have been discussed. RESULTS: HBsAg-based prophylactic vaccine was used as an immune therapeutic agent in CHB patients; however, monotherapy with HBsAg-based immune therapy could not lead to sustained control of HBV replication and/or liver damages. HBsAg-based vaccine was used as a combination therapy with cytokines, growth factors, and antiviral drugs. HBsAg-based vaccine was also used for cell-based therapy. However, satisfactory therapeutic effects of HBsAg-based vaccine could not be documented in CHB patients. In the mean time, evidences have supported that HBcAg-specific immunity is endowed with antiviral and liver protecting capacities in CHB patients. Recent data concentrate on the clinical use of combined HBsAg- and HBcAg-based vaccines in CHB ***: Antigen-based immune therapy with HBV- related antigens may be an alternative method for the treatment of CHB patients but proper designs of antigens, types of adjuvants, dose of vaccinations, and routes of administration need further analyses for the development of an effective regimen of immune therapy against HBV.

Negative effect of Ni on PtHY in n-pentane isomerization evidenced by IR and ESR studies

Ni/PtHY with different Ni loadings was prepared by impregnating HY with hexachloroplatinic acid solution and Ni2＋/N,N-dimethylformamide solution. An increase in the Ni loading decreased the crystallinity, specific surface area and meso-micropores of the catalysts. Ni interacted with hydroxyl groups to produce IR absorption bands at 3740-3500 cm-1, Increasing Ni loadings resulted in a decrease in the intensities of the broad bands at 3730-3500 cm-1 and the sharp band at 3740 cm-1 with simultaneous development of new absorbance band at 3700 cm-1 that was attributed to （-OH）Ni. The acidity of the samples did not significantly change with Ni loadings up to 1.0 wt%, which indicated that Ni mostly interacts with non-acidic silanol groups （terminal- and structural-defect OH groups）. The presence of Ni decreased the activity of PtHY toward the isomerization of n-pentane because of a decrease in the number of active protonic-acid sites that formed from molecular hydrogen. IR and ESR studies confirmed that Pt facilitated the formation of protonic-acid sites from molecular hydrogen, whereas Ni, even when combined with Pt, didn＇t exhibit such ability. The absence of protonic-acid sites from molecular hydrogen significantly decreased the yield of iso-pentane and markedly increased the cracking products.

In mobile edge computing(MEC),one of the important challenges is how much resources of which mobile edge server(MES)should be allocated to which user equipment(UE).The existing resource allocation schemes only consider CPU as the requested resource and assume utility for MESs as either a random variable or dependent on the requested CPU *** paper presents a novel comprehensive utility function for resource allocation in *** utility function considers the heterogeneous nature of applications that a UE offloads to *** proposed utility function considers all important parameters,including CPU,RAM,hard disk space,required time,and distance,to calculate a more realistic utility value for ***,we improve upon some general algorithms,used for resource allocation in MEC and cloud computing,by considering our proposed utility *** name the improved versions of these resource allocation schemes as comprehensive resource allocation *** UE requests are modeled to represent the amount of resources requested by the UE as well as the time for which the UE has requested these *** utility function depends upon the UE requests and the distance between UEs and MES,and serves as a realistic means of comparison between different types of UE ***(or selecting)an optimal MES with the optimal amount of resources to be allocated to each UE request is a challenging *** show that MES resource allocation is sub-optimal if CPU is the only resource *** taking into account the other resources,i.e.,RAM,disk space,request time,and distance in the utility function,we demonstrate improvement in the resource allocation algorithms in terms of service rate,utility,and MES energy consumption.

For the first time, the present study reports the life-history traits, comprising length-frequency distribution （LFD）, sex ratio （SR）, length-weight relationships （LWRs）, condition factors （CFs）, and relative growth （WR）, of Clupisoma garua in the coastal waters of Bangladesh. A total of 150 specimens ranging from 8.60 to 25.20 cm total length （TL） and 4.26 to 128.80 g body weight （BW） were collected using traditional fishing gear from August 2013 to July 2014. The overall sex ratio of males to females in the study did not differ significantly from the expected value of 1：1 （χ2=0.96, P〈0.05） but there were significant sex differences （P〈0.05） in the intercepts and slopes of graphs characterizing traits in C. garua. The calculated b values for the LWRs were 2.955, 2.893 and 2.927 for males, females and combined sexes, respectively, and there was negative allometric growth in all cases （b〈3）. The condition factors （KA, KF, KrR） and relative growth （WR） also did not differ significantly （P〈0.05） between the sexes. This study provides a useful tool for fishery specialists to evaluate the relative condition of fish and to initiate early management strategies and regulations for the sustainable management of the remaining stocks of this species in the entire coastal region of southern Bangladesh.

在过去的几年里,由于科技的发展,中国的移动产业已经变得越来越成熟。Oppo、Vivi、小米、华为等中国手机品牌迅速崛起,与三星、苹果等手机品牌的差距逐渐缩小。2018年,华为在全球售出了2亿部智能手机,2019年又售出了2.4亿部,超过了iphone。2020年,华为手机在巴基斯坦的移动供应商市场份额达到了17.18%。华为手机在巴基斯坦是排名第二的著名智能手机品牌。该公司于1987年由任正非创办。截至2019年12月,该公司拥有逾19.4万名员工。华为Nova 7i手机是巴基斯坦人心中最好的智能手机之一。华为手机在过去几年中市场份额增加的原因是其销售能力。尽管近年来在巴基斯坦表现出色,华为手机在巴基斯坦手机行业仍然面临着激烈的竞争,三星、小米、Samsung Galaxy A32,i Phone 6s+Oppo F19,xiaomi Redmi Note 11和Vivo Y53都是竞争对手。在这方面,华为手机需要保持和改进自己的营销策略和产品质量,以增加在移动市场的市场份额,取得更好的效果。该文主要研究华为Nova 7i在巴基斯坦首都伊斯兰堡的营销策略。该文从产品、价格、渠道和促销四个p方面进一步分析华为nova 7i手机在巴基斯坦首都伊斯兰堡地区的营销策略,以及SWOT优势、劣势、机会和威胁分析。通过咨询目标受访者的初步数据和整理相关网站、文章和期刊的文献综述,采用了调查问卷,系统抽样伊斯兰国际大学和Quide azam大学伊斯兰堡都会。该文是在对64名大学生进行问卷调查的基础上,结合营销理论撰写的。问卷主要用于收集第一手资料。采用SPSS软件进行频率和百分比分析,探讨各决定因素的影响。研究人员调查了华为手机nova 7i在巴基斯坦建立品牌的策略,并总结了他们为成为巴基斯坦继三星之后最著名的智能手机品牌所做的不同之处。研究分析了华为作为一个中国品牌是如何在巴基斯坦智能手机市场占有优势地位的。在运用4Ps和SWOT分析结果之后,研究者提出了改善华为nova 7i在巴基斯坦首都伊斯兰堡的营销策略的对策和建议。作者希望该文能够帮助华为Nova 7i手机在激烈的手机品牌竞争中在巴基斯坦伊斯兰堡保持更好的销量。
