The internet,particularly online social networking platforms have revolutionized the way extremist groups are influencing and radicalizing *** research reveals that the process initiates by exposing vast audiences to extremist content and then migrating potential victims to confined platforms for intensive ***,social networks have evolved as a persuasive tool for extremism aiding as recruitment platform and psychological ***,recognizing potential radical text or material is vital to restrict the circulation of the extremist *** aim of this research work is to identify radical text in social *** contributions are as follows:(i)A new dataset to be employed in radicalization detection;(ii)In depth analysis of new and previous datasets so that the variation in extremist group narrative could be identified;(iii)An approach to train classifier employing religious features along with radical features to detect radicalization;(iv)Observing the use of violent and bad words in radical,neutral and random groups by employing violent,terrorism and bad words *** research results clearly indicate that incorporating religious text in model training improves the accuracy,precision,recall,and F1-score of the *** a variation in extremist narrative has been observed implying that usage of new dataset can have substantial effect on classifier *** addition to this,violence and bad words are creating a differentiating factor between radical and random users but for neutral(anti-ISIS)group it needs further investigation.

Estimation of soil carbon pools in the forests of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan

NPBMT: A Novel and Proficient Buffer Management Technique for Internet of Vehicle-Based DTNs

Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs)have the major problem of message delay in the network due to a lack of endto-end connectivity between the nodes,especially when the nodes are *** nodes in DTNs have limited buffer storage for storing delayed *** instantaneous sharing of data creates a low buffer/shortage ***,buffer congestion would occur and there would be no more space available in the buffer for the upcoming *** address this problem a buffer management policy is proposed named“A Novel and Proficient Buffer Management Technique(NPBMT)for the Internet of Vehicle-Based DTNs”.NPBMT combines appropriate-size messages with the lowest Time-to-Live(TTL)and then drops a combination of the appropriate messages to accommodate the newly arrived *** evaluate the performance of the proposed technique comparison is done with Drop Oldest(DOL),Size Aware Drop(SAD),and Drop Larges(DLA).The proposed technique is implemented in the Opportunistic Network Environment(ONE)*** shortest path mapbased movement model has been used as the movement path model for the nodes with the epidemic routing *** the simulation results,a significant change has been observed in the delivery probability as the proposed policy delivered 380 messages,DOL delivered 186 messages,SAD delivered 190 messages,and DLA delivered only 95 messages.A significant decrease has been observed in the overhead ratio,as the SAD overhead ratio is 324.37,DLA overhead ratio is 266.74,and DOL and NPBMT overhead ratios are 141.89 and 52.85,respectively,which reveals a significant reduction of overhead ratio in NPBMT as compared to existing *** network latency average of DOL is 7785.5,DLA is 5898.42,and SAD is 5789.43 whereas the NPBMT latency average is *** reveals that the proposed policy keeps the messages for a short time in the network,which reduces the overhead ratio.

Inhibition of HeLa cell growth by doxorubicin-loaded and tuftsinconjugated arginate-PEG microparticles

In order to improve the release pattern of chemotherapy drug and reduce the possibility of drug resistance,poly(ethylene glycol amine)(PEG)-modified alginate microparticles(ALG-PEG MPs)were developed then two different mechanisms were employed to load doxorubicin(Dox):1)forming Dox/ALGPEG complex by electrostatic attractions between unsaturated functional groups in Dox and ALG-PEG;2)forming Dox-ALG-PEG complex through EDC-reaction between the amino and carboxyl groups in Dox and ALG,***,tuftsin(TFT),a natural immunomodulation peptide,was conjugated to MPs in order to enhance the efficiency of cellular *** was found that the Dox-ALG-PEGTFT MPs exhibited a significantly slower release of Dox than Dox/ALG-PEG-TFT MPs in neutral medium,suggesting the role of covalent bonding in prolonging Dox ***,the release of Dox from these MPs was pH-sensitive,and the release rate was observably increased at pH 6.5 compared to the case at pH *** with Dox/ALG-PEG MPs and Dox-ALG-PEG MPs,their counterparts further conjugated with TFT more efficiently inhibited the growth of HeLa cells over a period of 48 h,implying the effectiveness of TFT in enhancing cellular uptake of *** a period of 48 h,Dox-ALG-PEG-TFT MPs inhibited the growth of HeLa cells less efficiently than Dox/ALG-PEG-TFT MPs but the difference was not significant(p>0.05).In consideration of the prolonged and sustained release of Dox,Dox-ALGPEG-TFT MPs possess the advantages for long-term treatment.

AIM: The present study deals with the investigation of mechanisms involved in the synergistic interaction between epinephrine and arachidonic acid (AA). METHODS: Venous blood was taken from healthy human volunteers reported to be free of medications for one week. Platelet aggregation was monitored at 37oC using Dual-channel Lumi-aggregometer. The resulting aggregation was recorded for 5 min by the measurement of light transmission as a function of time. RESULTS: The data show that a synergism in platelet aggregation mediated by subthreshold concentrations of epinephrine (1 μmol/L) and AA (0.2 μmol/L) was inhibited by the α2-receptor antagonist (yohimbine, IC50=0.6 μmol/L) and an inhibitor of AA-cyclooxygenase (COX), indomethacin (IC50=0.25 μmol/L). In examining receptor influence on intraplatelet signalling pathways, it was found that the synergistic effect was inhibited by calcium channel blockers, verapamil (IC50=0.4 μmol/L) and diltiazem (IC50=2.5 μmol/L), as well as by low concentrations of inhibitors of phospholipase C (PLC) (U73122; IC50=0.2 μmol/L) and mitogens activated protein kinase (MAPK) (PD 98059; IC50=3.8 μmol/L). Herbimycin A, a specific inhibitor of tyrosine light chain kinase (TLCK), showed inhibition at IC50 value of 15 μmol/L, whereas chelerythrine, a protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor, had no effect up to 20 μmol/L. CONCLUSION: These data suggest that synergism between epinephrine and AA in platelet aggregation is triggered through receptors coupled to G-protein, which in turn, activate PLC, COX, and MAP kinase-signaling pathways.

AIM: To examine the signalling mechanisms involved in the synergistic interaction of 5-hydroxytryptamine （5-HT） and arachidonic acid （AA） in human platelet aggregation. METHODS: Blood was obtained from healthy human subjects, mixed with 3.8% sodium citrate （9:1）, and centrifuged to prepare platelet rich plasma （PRP）. Aggregation was monitored using a Dual-channel Lumi-aggregometer. The agonist-induced influx of Ca2+was measured using Fura-2 AM. TXA2formation was studied using radiochemical method. RESULTS: Subthreshold concentration of 5-HT （2μmol/L） potentiated the effect of low dose of AA （0.2 mmol/L） in human platelets. This synergistic effect was blocked by 5-HT2receptor antagonist (methysergide IC50=5.2 nmol/L; cyproheptadine IC50=0.6 nmol/L), and thromboxane A2receptor antagonist (SQ 29 548; IC50=30 nmol/L), showing that the effect is receptor-mediated. 知识图谱实际上是一种语义网络,用于表示相关概念和实体及其之间的联系。以结构化方式呈现的知识图谱,可为人类和计算机提供易于理解和使用的信息。知识图谱也是一种可应用于各个领域的强大的工具。知识图谱改善了各个应用领域的数据管理性能。然而,海运业仍然使用传统的信息管理系统,每日信息量不断增加,传统方法已经难以管理大量的信息,信息管理性能不佳,同时可能会丢失大量有价值的信息。本文研究目标是建立一个以船舶为核心的海运业知识图谱,以更好地管理船舶信息及促进决策。作为海运业最重要组成部分且产生大量数据的船舶,必须使用最佳的管理工具进行管理。为此,本研究针对海运业缺乏船舶知识图谱这一情况,进行了船舶知识图谱的构建研究,设计了完整的构建方法架构,同时还设计了船舶知识图谱模型,该模型结合了关系数据模型和图数据模型,使得船舶知识可以同时存储在图数据库和关系数据库中来提高管理及使用船舶知识的能力,其中图数据库存储船舶知识图谱,关系数据库存储船舶等实体更多结构化信息。本研究专注于从在线来源获取船舶规范数据以构建船舶知识图谱。我们使用Postgre SQL作为关系数据库,用于管理和存储船舶数据,而基于Postgre SQL的图形数据库Agensgraph则用于存储船舶知识图谱,一部分数据将存储在图形数据库中,剩余部分将存储在关系数据库中,而不是对所有数据进行转换。此外,本文使用CASREL模型从预先构建的小型船舶事故新闻数据集中提取关系三元组,从而从非结构化数据中提取结构化三元组知识来补充完善船舶知识图谱。Agens Browser可用于可视化船舶知识图谱,并通过从图谱中查询各种知识片段来评估其功能性。

Contribution of soil and foliar fertilization of nitrogen and sulfur on physiological and quality assessment of wheat (<i>Triticum aestivum</i>L.)

Nitrogen and sulfur supplies have a strong influence on the physical characteristics of crop as well as on the quality and quantity of wheat storage proteins, which play an important role in bread-making process. In order to evaluate the contribution of soil and foliar fertilization of nitrogen and sulfur on physiological and quality assessment of wheat, a field trail was carried out having randomized complete block design with four replications and eight different treatments of nitrogen and sulfur combinations were allotted to plots at different growth stages. Results indicated that highest protein content (12.82%), maximum moisture content (10.9%), maximum crop growth rate and maximum absolute growth rate were recorded when the wheat crop was fertilized with T8 [Nitrogen @ 60 kg·ha-1 at sowing + 40 kg·ha-1 at tillering + 10 kg·ha-1 at anthesis (spray) + 10 kg·ha-1 after anthesis (spray)] + [Sulfur @ 15 kg·ha-1 at sowing + 10 kg·ha-1 at anthesis (spray) + 5 kg·ha-1 after anthesis (spray)], while control practice resulted low moisture content, low protein, minimum crop growth rate and low absolute growth rate. Among physiological components of wheat cultivars, leaf area index was enhanced when fertilization was done with T5 (Sulfur @ 15 kg·ha-1 at sowing + 10 kg·ha-1 at anthesis + 5 kg·ha-1 after anthesis). In all the recorded observations,concerning experiment wheat cultivar Pirsabaq2005 showed appreciable response as compared with other variety (Khyber-87). Thus it is possible to obtain maximum physiological traits as well as bread-making quality of wheat through soil and foliar application of nitrogen and sulfur.
