With every passing day,the demand for data traffic is increasing,and this urges the research community not only to look for an alternating spectrum for communication but also urges radio frequency planners to use the existing spectrum *** sizes are shrinking with every upcoming communication generation,which makes base station placement planning even more complex and *** order to make the next-generation cost-effective,it is important to design a network in such a way that it utilizes the minimum number of base stations while ensuring seamless coverage and quality of *** paper aims at the development of a new simulation-based optimization approach using a hybrid metaheuristic and metamodel applied in a novel mathematical formulation of the multi-transmitter placement planning(MTPP)*** first develop a new mathematical programming model for MTPP that is flexible to design the locations for any number of *** solve this constrained optimization problem,we propose a hybrid approach using the radial basis function(RBF)metamodel to assist the particle swarm optimizer(PSO)by mitigating the associated computational burden of the optimization *** evaluate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed algorithm by simulating the MTPP model with two,three,four and five transmitters and estimating the Pareto front for optimal locations of *** quantitative results show that almost maximum signal coverage can be obtained with four transmitters;thus,it is not a wise idea to use higher number of transmitters in the ***,the limitations and future works are discussed.

This paper presents a large gathering dataset of images extracted from publicly filmed videos by 24 cameras installed on the premises of Masjid Al-Nabvi,Madinah,Saudi *** dataset consists of raw and processed images reflecting a highly challenging and unconstraint *** methodology for building the dataset consists of four core phases;that include acquisition of videos,extraction of frames,localization of face regions,and cropping and resizing of detected face *** raw images in the dataset consist of a total of 4613 frames obtained fromvideo *** processed images in the dataset consist of the face regions of 250 persons extracted from raw data images to ensure the authenticity of the presented *** dataset further consists of 8 images corresponding to each of the 250 subjects(persons)for a total of 2000 *** portrays a highly unconstrained and challenging environment with human faces of varying sizes and pixel quality(resolution).Since the face regions in video sequences are severely degraded due to various unavoidable factors,it can be used as a benchmark to test and evaluate face detection and recognition algorithms for research *** have also gathered and displayed records of the presence of subjects who appear in presented frames;in a temporal *** can also be used as a temporal benchmark for tracking,finding persons,activity monitoring,and crowd counting in large crowd scenarios.

Cellular mobile technology has witnessed tremendous growth in recent *** of the challenges facing the operators to extend the coverage of the networks to meet the rising demand for cellular mobile services is the power sources used to supply cellular towers with energy,especially in ***,switch from the conventional sources of energy to a greener and sustainable power model became a target of the academic and industrial sectors in many fields;one of these important fields is the telecommunication ***,this study aims to find the optimum sizing and technoeconomic investigation of a solar photovoltaic scheme to deploy cellular mobile technology infrastructure cleanly and *** optimal solarpowered system is designed by employing the energy-balance procedures of the HOMER software *** problem objective is considered in terms of cost,but the energy system is constrained to meet the power demand *** simulations were performed to determine the optimum sizing,performance and monetary cost of the power system,using long-term meteorological datasets for a case study site with defined longitude(31◦25E)and latitude(30◦06N).From the observed results,the total net present cost(NPC)of the proposed system is$28,***,these outcomes can provide profound economic,technical,and ecological benefits to cellular *** also ensures a sizeable reduction in greenhouse gas that supports sustainable green wireless network(WN)deployment in remote areas.

Genetic variability predicting breeding potential of upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)for high temperature tolerance

Background High temperature stress at peak flowering stage of cotton is a major hindrance for crop *** study aimed to increase genetic divergence regarding heat tolerance in newly developed cultivars and *** cotton genotypes and 40 F1(hybrids)were tested under field conditions following the treatments,viz.,high temperature stress and control at peak flowering stage in August and October under April and June sowing,*** The mean squares revealed significant differences among genotypes,treatments,genotype×treatment for relative cell injury,chlorophyll contents,canopy temperature,boll retention and seed cotton yield per *** genetic diversity among 50 genotypes was analyzed through cluster analysis and heat susceptibility index(HSI).The heat tolerant genotypes including FH-Noor,NIAB-545,FH-466,FH-Lalazar,FH-458,NIAB-878,IR-NIBGE-8,Weal-AGShahkar,and heat sensitive,i.e.,CIM-602,Silky-3,FH-326,SLH-12 and FH-442 were hybridized in line×tester fashion to produce F1 *** breeding materials’populations(40 F1)revealed higher specific combining ability variances along with dominance variances,decided the non-additive type gene action for all the *** best general combining ability effects for most of the traits were displayed by the lines,i.e.,FH-Lalazar,NIAB-878 along with testers FH-326 and *** combining ability effects and better-parent heterosis were showed by the crosses,viz.,FH-Lalazar×Silky-3,FH-Lalazar×FH-326,NIAB-878×Silky-3,and NIAB-878×FH-326 for seed cotton yield and yield contributing traits under high temperature *** Heterosis breeding should be carried out in the presence of non-additive type gene action for all the studied *** best combiner parents with better-parent heterosis may be used in crossing program to develop high yielding cultivars,and hybrids for high temperature stress tolerance.

Pruned fuzzy K-nearest neighbor classifier for beat classification

Arrhythmia beat classification is an active area of research in ECG based clinical decision support systems. In this paper, Pruned Fuzzy K-nearest neighbor (PFKNN) classifier is proposed to classify six types of beats present in the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database. We have tested our classifier on ~ 103100 beats for six beat types present in the database. Fuzzy KNN (FKNN) can be implemented very easily but large number of training examples used for classification can be very time consuming and requires large storage space. Hence, we have proposed a time efficient Arif-Fayyaz pruning algorithm especially suitable for FKNN which can maintain good classification accuracy with appropriate retained ratio of training data. By using Arif-Fayyaz pruning algorithm with Fuzzy KNN, we have achieved a beat classification accuracy of 97% and geometric mean of sensitivity of 94.5% with only 19% of the total training examples. The accuracy and sensitivity is comparable to FKNN when all the training data is used. Principal Component Analysis is used to further reduce the dimension of feature space from eleven to six without compromising the accuracy and sensitivity. PFKNN was found to robust against noise present in the ECG data.

Plants are naturally occurring sources of drugs and can be used to minimize the problem of curing diseases up to the greater extent;for that purpose,we select a medicinal plant named Cypreus *** extract is taken in the ethanol *** crude extract of this medicinal plant is taken in Erlenmeyer flask tapped with a cotton *** crude extract is diluted to different concentrations in order to check the antibacterial activity at different concentrations of *** main aim of our work is to determine the antibacterial sensitivity test of Cypreus compressus against two types of bacteria i.e.,*** and *** all the different concentrations,the most significant was 20 mg for both types of bacteria i.e.,*** and *** showing the greater zone of inhibition among all other concentrations that may use as an antibacterial agent in the future.

Biomimetic brain-like nanostructures for solid polymer electrolytes with fast ion transport

The intrinsic drawbacks of electrolytes and the growth of lithium dendrites limit the development of commercial lithium *** address the aforementioned challenges,a novel biomimetic brain-like nanostructure(BBLN)solid polymer electrolyte was created by manipulating the shape of the incorporated *** designed BBLN solid polymer electrolyte was created by incorporating spherical core-shell(UIO-66@67)fillers into polymer electrolyte,which is significantly different from traditional polymer-based composite ***-66@67 spherical nanoparticles are highly favorable to eliminating polymer electrolyte stress and deformation during solidification,indicating a great potential for fabricating highly uniform BBLN solid polymer electrolytes with a substantial number of continuous ***,spherical nanoparticles can significantly reduce the crystalline structure of polymer electrolytes,improving polymer chain segmental movement and providing continuous pathways for rapid ion *** a result,BBLN solid polymer electrolyte shows excellent ionic conductivity(9.2×10^(−4)S cm^(−1)),a high lithium transference number(0.74),and outstanding cycle stability against lithium electrodes over 6500 h at room *** concept of biomimetic brain-like nanostructures in this work demonstrates a novel strategy to enhance ion transport in polymerbased electrolytes for solid-state batteries.

Characteristics and Growing Stocks Volume of Forest Stand in Dry Temperate Forest of Chilas Gilgit-Baltistan

Chilas forest sub division in Diamer district, of Gilgit-Baltistan is located at northern regions of Pakistan. We estimated tree density, diameter, height and volume of the dominant tree species in four blocks (Thore, Chilas, Thak Niat and Gunar) of Chilas forest sub division. The tree density of deodar was maximum with average 26 tree·ha-1 and minimum was of Chalgoza 4 trees·ha-1. The maximum average height showed by the dominant species (Fir, Kail, Deodar, and Chilgoza) of the study area to be 20.40, 16.06, 12.24 and 12.12 m respectively. Moreover the average maximum volume attained by the Kail, Fir, Deodar and Chalgoza trees was 1.92, 1.57, 0.46 and 0.291 m3·tree-1 respectively. Regression analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between diameter (cm), height (m), tree density (trees·ha-1) and volume (m3·ha-1). The findings of the study will help the future scientific management of the forest for sustained yield. The study also provides information about the unexplored growing stock and structure of the forests. Additionally, this study will help to understand the patterns of tree species composition and diversity in the northern part of Pakistan with dry temperate climate.
