The sluggish kinetics of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is the key tailback for hydrogen production from the water *** OER with thermodynamically auspicious methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)can significantly boost the H_(2) and value-added products ***,it is currently challenging to achieve a synergistic manipulation of product selectivity and performance for MOR ***,we report NiSnPH@OOH/CC(CC=carbon cloth)perovskite hydroxide nanosphere as an efficient MOR electrocatalyst with high activity,stability,and selectivity towards methanol oxidation to formate.A surface amorphous layer of defect rich NiOOH was generated in operando by selective Sn leaching with stable perovskite hydroxide bulk structure,which mitigates the oxidative power and optimizes the local coordination environment of the active NiOOH *** situ Raman combined with electrochemical studies further confirm the key active species,NiOOH,generated in operando enhance the MOR and blocking the over oxidation of methanol to CO_(2).As a result,NiSnPH@OOH/CC effectively masks the OER and attains>99%selectivity with 100%Faradic efficiency for *** results of this study show the advances of NiSnPH@OOH/CC as an efficient electrocatalyst for MOR and also suggest its potential applications for various small organic molecules oxidation.

Tuning structural,electrical,dielectric and magnetic properties of Mg-Cu-Co ferrites via dysprosium(Dy^(3+))doping

In current research work,Dy3+substituted Mg0.5Cu0.25Co0.25Fe2-xDyxO4(0.0≤x≤0.04 with the step interval of 0.01)soft ferrites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto combustion *** prepared samples were characterized by the techniques using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,curre nt-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ)measurement,LCR meter,vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)and *** data reveal that the average crystallite size is 49.71 nm and the lattice constant is 0.83703 nm for sample x=*** non-uniform grain growth was demonstrated by micrographs and impurity-free elemental composition was observed from EDX *** DC resistivity has an increasing and decreasing trend in ferromagnetic and paramagnetic regions with an increase in ***,the high resistivity is observed with the order of 1010Ω·cm,and the activation energy is 0.944 eV for samples x=*** dielectric parameters including dielectric constant,dielectric losses,and impedance gradually decrease with the increase in frequency from 8 Hz to 8 *** minimum dielectric loss at high frequency is found for sample x=*** coercivity(Hc)and saturation magnetization(Ms)are found in the ranges of 520.82-544.02 Oe and 20.5841-21.1473 emu/g,*** observations confirm that dysprosium(x=0.03)doped MCC-soft ferrites may be applicable in transformer cores,microwave absorbance,and telecommunication devices.

Controllable design of the catalytic electrodes with hierarchical superstructures is expected to improve their electrochemical ***,a self-supported integrated electrode(NiCo-ZLDH/NF)with a unique hierarchical quaternary superstructure was fabricated through a self-sacrificing template strategy from the metal–organic framework(Co-ZIF-67)nanoplate arrays,which features an intriguing well-defined hierarchy when taking the unit cells of the NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo-LDH)as the primary structure,the ultrathin LDH nanoneedles as the secondary structure,the mesoscale hollow plates of the LDH nanoneedle arrays as the tertiary structure,and the macroscale three-dimensional frames of the plate arrays as the quaternary ***,the distinctive structure of NiCo-ZLDH/NF can not only accelerate both mass and charge transfer,but also expose plentiful accessible active sites with high intrinsic activity,endowing it with an excellent electrochemical performance for urea oxidation reaction(UOR).Specially,it only required the low potentials of 1.335,1.368 and 1.388 V to deliver the current densities of 10,100 and 200 mA cm^(-2),respectively,much superior to those for typical *** NiCo-ZLDH/NF as the bifunctional electrode for both anodic UOR and cathodic HER,an energy-saving electrolysis system was further explored which can greatly reduce the needed voltage of 213 mV to deliver the current density of 100 mA cm^(-2),as compared to the conventional water electrolysis system composed of *** work manifests that it is prospective to explore the hierarchically nanostructured electrodes and the innovative electrolytic technologies for high-efficiency electrocatalysis.

Owing to the atomically thin nature,two-dimensional(2D)oxide materials have been widely reported to exhibit exciting transport and dielectric properties,such as fine gate controllability and ultrahigh carrier mobility,that outperform their bulk ***,unlike the successful synthesis of bulk oxide single crystals,reliable methods for synthesizing large-area single crystal of 2D oxide,that would suppress the negative influence from defective grain boundaries,remain unavailable,especially for nonlayered ***,we report that the lattice symmetry between the substrate and cerium dioxide(CeO_(2))would allow for the aligned nucleation and epitaxial growth of CeO_(2)on sapphire substrates,enabling the wafer-sized growth of CeO_(2)single *** careful tuning of the growth temperature and oxygen flow rate contributed to the harvesting of CeO_(2)wafer with reduced thickness and enhanced growth *** removal of grain boundaries improved the dielectric performance in terms of high dielectric strength(Ebd≈8.8 MV·cm^(-1)),suppressed leakage current,along with high dielectric constants(εr≈24).Our work demonstrates that with fine dielectric performance and ease of synthesizing wafer-sized single crystals,CeO_(2)can function as potential candidate as gate insulator for 2D-materials based nanoelectronics,and we believe the reported protocol of aligned nucleation can be extended to other 2D oxides.

Developing high ionic conducting electrolytes is crucial for applying proton-conducting fuel cell （PCFCs） *** current study investigates the effect of alumina on the structural,morphological,electrical,and electrochemical properties of *** oxygen vacancies are induced in CeO2by a general doping concept that enables fast ionic conduction at low-temperature ranges（300–500°C） for *** refinement of the X-ray diffraction （XRD） patterns established the pure cubic fluorite structure of Aldoped CeO2（ADC） samples and confirmed Al ions’fruitful integration in the *** electronic structure of the alumina-doped ceria of the materials （10ADC,20ADC,and 30ADC） has been *** a result,it was found that the best composition of 30ADC-based electrolytes induced maximum lattice oxygen *** corresponding PCFC exhibited a maximum power output of 923 mW/cm2at 500°***,the investigation proves the proton-conducting ability of alumina-doped ceria-based fuel cells by using an oxide ion-blocking layer.

Silica has three major varieties of crystalline. Quartz is the main andabundant ingredient in the crust of our earth. While other varieties are formedby the heating of quartz. Silica quartz is a rich chemical structure containingenormous properties. Any chemical network or structure can be transformedinto a graph, where atoms become vertices and the bonds are converted toedges, between vertices. This makes a complex network easy to visualize towork on it. There are many concepts to work on chemical structures in termsof graph theory but the resolvability parameters of a graph are quite advanceand applicable topic. Resolvability parameters of a graph is a way to getting agraph into unique form, like each vertex or edge has a unique identification bymeans of some selected vertices, which depends on the distance of vertices andits pattern in a particular graph. We have dealt some resolvability parametersof SiO2 quartz. We computed the resolving set for quartz structure and itsvariants, wherein we proved that all the variants of resolvability parameters ofquartz structures are constant and do not depend on the order of the graph.

Due to their complex structure,2-D models are challenging to work with;additionally,simulation,analysis,design,and control get increasingly difficult as the order of the model ***,in particular time intervals,Gawronski and Juang’s time-limited model reduction schemes produce an unstable reduced-order model for the 2-D and 1-D *** revealed some stability preservation solutions to address this key flaw which ensure the stability of 1-D reduced-order systems;nevertheless,these strategies result in large approximation ***,to the best of the authors’knowledge,there is no literature available for the stability preserving time-limited-interval Gramian-based model reduction framework for the 2-D discrete-time *** this article,2-D models are decomposed into two separate sub-models(i.e.,two cascaded 1-D models)using the condition of minimal *** reduction procedures are conducted on these obtained two 1-D sub-models using limited-time *** suggested methodology works for both 2-D and 1-D ***,the suggested methodology gives the stability of the reduced model as well as a priori error-bound expressions for the 2-D and 1-D *** results and comparisons between existing and suggested methodologies are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested methodology.

A Double-Branch Xception Architecture for Acute Hemorrhage Detection and Subtype Classification

This study presents a deep learning model for efficient intracranial hemorrhage(ICH)detection and subtype classification on non-contrast head computed tomography(CT)*** refers to bleeding in the skull,leading to the most critical life-threatening health condition requiring rapid and accurate *** is classified as intra-axial hemorrhage(intraventricular,intraparenchymal)and extra-axial hemorrhage(subdural,epidural,subarachnoid)based on the bleeding location inside the *** computer-aided diagnoses(CAD)-based schemes have been proposed for ICH detection and classification at both slice and scan ***,these approaches performonly binary classification and suffer from a large number of parameters,which increase storage ***,the accuracy of brain hemorrhage detection in existing models is significantly low for medically critical *** overcome these problems,a fast and efficient system for the automatic detection of ICH is *** designed a double-branch model based on xception architecture that extracts spatial and instant features,concatenates them,and creates the 3D spatial context(common feature vectors)fed to a decision tree classifier for final *** data employed for the experimentation was gathered during the 2019 Radiologist Society of North America(RSNA)brain hemorrhage detection *** model outperformed benchmark models and achieved better accuracy in intraventricular(99.49%),subarachnoid(99.49%),intraparenchymal(99.10%),and subdural(98.09%)categories,thereby justifying the performance of the proposed double-branch xception architecture for ICH detection and classification.
