Research on Human Activity Recognition Algorithm Based on LSTM-1DCNN

With the rapid advancement of wearable devices,Human Activities Recognition(HAR)based on these devices has emerged as a prominent research *** objective of this study is to enhance the recognition performance of HAR by proposing an LSTM-1DCNN recognition algorithm that utilizes a single triaxial *** algorithm comprises two branches:one branch consists of a Long and Short-Term Memory Network(LSTM),while the other parallel branch incorporates a one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Network(1DCNN).The parallel architecture of LSTM-1DCNN initially extracts spatial and temporal features from the accelerometer data separately,which are then concatenated and fed into a fully connected neural network for information *** the LSTM-1DCNN architecture,the 1DCNN branch primarily focuses on extracting spatial features during convolution operations,whereas the LSTM branch mainly captures temporal *** sets of accelerometer data from five publicly available HAR datasets are employed for training and evaluation *** performance of the proposed LSTM-1DCNN model is compared with five other HAR algorithms including Decision Tree,Random Forest,Support Vector Machine,1DCNN,and LSTM on these five public *** results demonstrate that the F1-score achieved by the proposed LSTM-1DCNN ranges from 90.36%to 99.68%,with a mean value of 96.22%and standard deviation of 0.03 across all evaluated metrics on these five public datasets-outperforming other existing HAR algorithms significantly in terms of evaluation metrics used in this *** the proposed LSTM-1DCNN is validated in real-world applications by collecting acceleration data of seven human activities for training and testing ***,the trained HAR algorithm is deployed on Android phones to evaluate its *** results demonstrate that the proposed LSTM-1DCNN algorithm achieves an impressive F1-score of 97.67%on our self-built *** concl

If {αn}, {βn}, {an}, {bn}, {tn} satisfy certain appropriate conditions, then we suggest and analyze the two modified iterative processes as：{yn=αnxn＋（1-αn）T（tn）xn,xn=βnf（xn）＋（1-βn）yn{u0∈C,vn=anun＋（1-an）T（tn）un,un＋1=bnf（un）＋（1-bn）vnWe prove that the approximate solutions obtained from these methods converge strongly to q ∈∩t≥0 Fix（T（t））, which is a unique solution in F to the following variational inequality：〈（I-f）q,j（q-u）〉≤0 u∈F Our results extend and improve the corresponding ones of Suzuki [Proc. The study aimed to shed light on the post deformation and damage behavior of an extruded Mg-Zn-Zr alloy under a ballistic *** results revealed that the initial microstructure consisted of both{0001}basal and{1010}prismatic fiber *** impact,adiabatic shear bands,pronounce different twinning in big grains,,,andtypes of dislocations,and grain refinement through twinning induce recrystallization accommodated the strain,and absorbed∼65.7%of the energy during impact carried by a soft steel ***,the deformation behavior at the top broad sides of the crater was entirely *** weak basal texture was changed to a strong prismatic texture,which was further proved by typical sigmoidal compressive stress-strain curves.A revised model for the development of the ultra-fine grains adjacent to the crater has been *** microhardness and yield strength was∼33%and∼40%higher and chiefly ascribed to strain hardening in ultra-fine grained near the surface of the perforation *** exit of the perforation path was severely damaged and forms onion-shaped concentric rings which were comprised of melted zones,dimples,and *** on the all interesting findings,this study can be a clue for the development of the lightweight Mg alloy for military and aerospace applications.

Structural and optical properties of thermally reduced graphene oxide for energy devices

Natural intercalation of the graphite oxide, obtained as a product of Hummer＇s method, via ultra-sonication of water dispersed graphite oxide has been carried out to obtain graphene oxide（GO） and thermally reduced graphene oxide（RGO）.Here we report the effect of metallic nitrate on the oxidation properties of graphite and then formation of metallic oxide（MO） composites with GO and RGO for the first time. We observed a change in the efficiency of the oxidation process as we replaced the conventionally used sodium nitrate with that of nickel nitrate Ni（NO_3）_2, cadmium nitrate Cd（NO_3）_2,and zinc nitrate Zn（NO_3）_2. The structural properties were investigated by x-ray diffraction and observed the successful formation of composite of MO–GO and MO–RGO（M = Zn, Cd, Ni）. We sought to study the effect on the oxidation process through optical characterization via UV-Vis spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Infrared（FTIR） ***, Thermo Gravimetric Analysis（TGA） was carried out to confirm 〉 90% weight loss in each process thus proving the reliability of the oxidation cycles. We have found that the nature of the oxidation process of graphite powder and its optical and electrochemical characteristics can be tuned by replacing the sodium nitrate（NaNO_3） by other metallic nitrates as Cd（NO_3）_2, Ni（NO_3）_2, and Zn（NO_3）_2. On the basis of obtained results, the synthesized GO and RGO may be expected as a promising material in antibacterial activity and in electrodes fabrication for energy devices such as solar cell, fuel cell,and super capacitors.

The actuaries always look for heavy-tailed distributions to model data relevant to business and actuarial risk *** this article,we introduce a new class of heavy-tailed distributions useful for modeling data in financial sciences.A specific sub-model form of our suggested family,named as a new extended heavy-tailed Weibull distribution is examined in *** basic characterizations,including quantile function and raw moments have been *** estimates of the unknown parameters of the new model are obtained via the maximum likelihood estimation *** judge the performance of the maximum likelihood estimators,a simulation analysis is performed in ***,some important actuarial measures such as value at risk and tail value at risk are also computed.A simulation study based on these actuarial measures is conducted to exhibit empirically that the proposed model is *** usefulness of the proposed family is illustrated by means of an application to a heavy-tailed insurance loss data *** practical application shows that the proposed model is more flexible and efficient than the other six competing models including(i)the two-parameter models Weibull,Lomax and Burr-XII distributions(ii)the three-parameter distributions Marshall-Olkin Weibull and exponentiated Weibull distributions,and(iii)a well-known four-parameter Kumaraswamy Weibull distribution.

Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication plays a fundamental role in autonomous IoT (Internet of Things)-based infrastructure, a vital part of the fourth industrial revolution. Machine-type communication devices(MTCDs) regularly share extensive data without human intervention while making all types of decisions. Thesedecisions may involve controlling sensitive ventilation systems maintaining uniform temperature, live heartbeatmonitoring, and several different alert systems. Many of these devices simultaneously share data to form anautomated system. The data shared between machine-type communication devices (MTCDs) is prone to risk dueto limited computational power, internal memory, and energy capacity. Therefore, securing the data and devicesbecomes challenging due to factors such as dynamic operational environments, remoteness, harsh conditions,and areas where human physical access is difficult. One of the crucial parts of securing MTCDs and data isauthentication, where each devicemust be verified before data transmission. SeveralM2Mauthentication schemeshave been proposed in the literature, however, the literature lacks a comprehensive overview of current M2Mauthentication techniques and the challenges associated with them. To utilize a suitable authentication schemefor specific scenarios, it is important to understand the challenges associated with it. Therefore, this article fillsthis gap by reviewing the state-of-the-art research on authentication schemes in MTCDs specifically concerningapplication categories, security provisions, and performance efficiency.
