Graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs), two-dimensional materials, have been investigated wildely in recent years. As a member of the TMD family, MoTe2 possesses a suitable bandgap of ~1.0 eV for near infrared(NIR)photodetection. Here we stack the MoTe2 flake with two graphene flakes of high carrier mobility to form a graphene–MoTe2–graphene heterostructure. It exhibits high photo-response to a broad spectrum range from 500 nm to 1300 nm. The photoresponsivity is calculated to be 1.6 A/W for the 750-nm light under 2 V/0 V drain–source/gate bias, and 154 ma/W for the 1100-nm light under 0.5 V/60 V drain–source/gate bias. Besides, the polarity of the photocurrent under zero Vds can be efficiently tuned by the back gate voltage to satisfy different applications. Finally, we fabricate a vertical graphene–MoTe2–graphene heterostructure which shows improved photoresponsivity of 3.3 A/W to visible light.

The microstructures and thermodynamic properties of mixed systems comprising pyridinium ionic liquid[HPy][BF_(4)]and acetonitrile at different mole fractions were studied using molecular dynamics simulation in this *** following properties were determined:density,self-diffusion coefficient,excess molar volume,and radial distribution *** results show that with an increase in the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the self-diffusion coefficient ***,the excess molar volume initially decreases,reaches a minimum,and then *** rules of radial distribution functions(RDFs)of characteristic atoms are *** increasing the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the first peak of the RDFs of ha1-F decreases,while that of CT6-CT6 rises at first and then *** indicates that the solvent molecules affect the polar and non-polar regions of[HPy][BF_(4)]differently.

BACKGROUND Papillary cystadenoma is a rare benign epithelial tumor of the salivary gland,which is characterized by papillary structures and oncocytic cells with rich eosinophilic cytoplasm. We found only one case of papillary cystadenoma in nearly 700 cases of salivary gland tumors. Our case was initially mistaken for a tumor of the right temporomandibular joint(TMJ) capsule rather than of parotid gland origin. Preoperative magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and computed tomography(CT) should be carefully studied, which allows for appropriate preoperative counseling and operative *** SUMmaRY Here, we report an unusual case of a 54-year-old woman with a parotid gland papillary cystadenoma(PGPC) that was misdiagnosed as a tumor of the right TMJ capsule. She was initially admitted to our hospital due to a.ma.s anterior to her right ear inadvertently found 5 d ago. Preoperative CT and MRI revealed a well circumscribed tumor that was attached to the right TMJ capsule. The patient underwent a resection through an incision for TMJ, but evaluation of an intraoperative frozen section revealed a benign tumor of the parotid gland. Then we removed part of the parotid gland above the temporal facial trunk. The facial nerve was preserved. Postoperative histopathological findings revealed that the tumor was PGPC. No additional treatment was performed. There was no recurrence during a 20-mo follow-up *** The integrity of the interstitial space around the condyle in MRI or CT should be carefully evaluated for parotid gland or TMJ tumors.

Field studies were conducted in 2012 and 2013 to evaluate weed and insect control efficacy with glyphosate at 1 230 g ai（active ingredient） ha^（-1） and the insecticides acephate（728 g ai ha^（-1））,carbosulfan（135 g ai ha^（-1））,endosulfan（683 g ai ha^（-1））,imidacloprid（32 g ai ha^（-1））,or lambda-cyhalothrin（23 g ai ha^（-1））,as well as glyphosate tank-mixed with these *** of the most common weeds in cotton,common purslane,false daisy,goosegrass,and lambsquarters,were manually sown in the cotton field and treated with glyphosate alone or in combination with *** efficacy,based on visual estimates of control and weed fresh weight at 21 d after treatment（DAT）,was unaffected by the addition of *** weeds were controlled by 93-97%and 86-100%（visual rating） and reduced weed fresh biomass by98-99%and 96-100%with glyphosate alone and its combination with insecticides,*** of glyphosate to acephate improved cotton aphid control compared with acephate ***,addition of glyphosate to carbosulfan,endosulfan,imidacloprid,or lambda-cyhalothrin did not affect the aphid control when compared with the insecticide alone *** results indicate that cotton producers could potentially integrate weed and insect management strategies by choosing suitable insecticide mixing partners with glyphosate,thereby reducing the application costs without sacrificing the efficacy of the glyphosate or the insecticides.

Electrolytic manganese residue(EMR) is the waste slag generated from the electrolysis manganese *** a promising exploitable adsorbent,EMR has become a hot research ***,EMR’s low adsorption capacity has limited its applications as an efficient *** this study,the EMR was mixed with serpentine and calcined(at 800℃ for 2 h) to prepare a composite adsorbent(S-EMR) with its specific surface area of 11.998 m^(2)·g^(-1)(increased compared to the original EMR) and improved adsorption capacities for Cd^(2+)(98.05 mg·g^(-1)) and Pb^(2+)(565.81 mg·g^(-1)).Kinetic studies have shown that the pseudo-first-order kinetics(PSO)model could best describe the adsorption kinetics of S-EMR for Cd^(2+)/Pb^(2+),implying that the chemisorption process is the rate-limiting *** effects of different interfering ions on S-EMR’ s adsorption for Cd^(2+)/Pb^(2+)may be due to the difference in their *** of response surface methodology tests showed that pH had the highest influence on adsorption,and the removal efficiency of S-EMR reached 99.92% for Cd(Ⅱ) and 94.00%for Pb(Ⅱ).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses revealed that chemical precipitation was the predominant mechanism for Cd^(2+)/Pb^(2+)removal,and the adsorption mechanisms were associated with ion exchange and electrostatic *** results showed that S-EMR could be used as an effective adsorbent for the removal of Cd(Ⅱ)/Pb(Ⅱ) from water bodies,rendering dual benefits of pollution control and resource recovery.

To overcome the inaccuracy problem of the traditional wedge evaluation of steel plates and strips caused by the ran-domness of the thicknesses of two local points and improve the reliability of the wedge index,the double-centroid method for the wedge evaluation was proposed,and a model based on the centroid theory was ***,an integral model for the discrete thickness values of the cross-section profiles was *** discussion focused on the distinct characteristics of the two-point method,asymmetric method,and double-centroid method in evaluating the asymmetric distribution of *** three methods were employed to evaluate the wedge values of both the theoretical and measured cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and the accuracies of three wedge evaluation models were analyzed and *** results showed that the double-centroid method objectively reflects the degree and variation characteristics of the wedge values of the cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and this method is feasible,reliable,and outstanding.

As a vital nutrient closely related to the cance r-cells proliferation,phosphate anions have been paid great attention as a promising anticancer ***,the transport of phosphate anions depends on a protein transport system which is regulated by ion homeostasis ***,we designed a reactive anionic nanocarrier based on black phosphorus nanosheets(BPs)and artesunate(ART),which could enter cells through endocytosis to generate phosphate anions,avoiding the regulation of cell *** ionic nanocarrier was coated by polydopamine to defend BPs and ART and functionalized by folate(FA)and hyaluronic acid(ha)for targeting *** the anchoring groups Fa.ha.targeted the carrier into cells,polydopamine coating decomposed to expose ART for further generating reactive oxygen species(ROS)in cancer cell microenvironment,providing oxidation ***,ROS generated by ART makes BPs decompose to phosphate anions with effectively speed,giving rise to the destruction of ion homeostasis to induce necro sis and inhibit the proliferation for cancer *** consequence,this research provides novel idea and direction for the ionic carriers and tumor therapeutics.

Pyrethroid esters are widely used as insecticides worldwide. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the harmful effect of deltamethrin on the male reproductive system through the assessment of reproductive hormones, infla.ma.orymarkers, and testicular function. To achieve our aim, eighty male 7-9-week-old, Wistar rats were taken, weighed, and divided into four experimental groups. The first group was kept as a control group, and the other three groups were given deltamethrin orally at different concentrations (0.87, 8.7, and 17.4 mg/kg body weight) for nine weeks. The resultsindicated that deltamethrin administration associated with a significant decrease in reproductive hormones, especially FSH, LH, and significant elevation in the interleukin 2 (IL2), interleukin 6 (IL6), histamine, and cortisol levels. Also, thesignificance of inhibition of sperm motility and viability, decreased testis weights, sperm count, and fructose in semen were noted. These findings clarify the harmful effect of deltamethrin on the male reproductive system by producing a significant alteration in reproductive hormones, infla.ma.ory markers as well as testicular function.
