ANAC087 transcription factor positively regulates age-dependent leaf senescence through modulating the expression of multiple target genes in Arabidopsis

Leaf senescence is the final stage of leaf development and appropriate onset and progression of leaf senescence are critical for reproductive success and *** great progress has been made in identifying key genes regulating leaf senescence and elucidating the underlining mechanisms in the model plant Arabidopsis,there is still a gap to understanding the complex regulatory *** this study,we discovered that Arabidopsis ANAC087 transcription factor(TF)positively modulated leaf *** of ANAC087 was induced in senescing leaves and the encoded protein acted as a transcriptional *** constitutive and inducible overexpression lines of ANAC087 showed earlier senescence than control plants,whereas T-DNA insertion mutation and dominant repression of the ANAC087 delayed senescence rate.A quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)profiling showed that the expression of an array of senescence-associated genes was upregulated in inducible ANAC087 overexpression plants including BFN1,NYE1,CEP1,RbohD,SAG13,SAG15,and VPEs,which are involved in programmed cell death(PCD),chlorophyll degradation and reactive oxygen species(ROS)*** addition,electrophoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA)and chromatin immunoprecipitation-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(ChIP-qPCR)assays demonstrated that ANAC087 directly bound to the canonical NAC recognition sequence(NACRS)motif in promoters of its target ***,mutation of two representative target genes,BFN1 or NYE1 alleviated the senescence rate of ANAC087-overexpression plants,suggesting their genetic regulatory *** together,this study indicates that ANAC087serves as an important regulator linking PCD,ROS,and chlorophyll degradation to leaf senescence.

tsRNAs(tRNA-derived small RNAs),as products of the stress response,exert considerable influence on stress response and injury ***,it remains largely unclear whether tsRNAs can ameliorate liver ***,we demonstrate the roles of tsRNAs in alleviating liver injury by utilizing the loss of NSun2(NOP2/Sun domain family,member 2)as a tsRNAs-generating ***,the loss of NSun2 reduces methyluridine-U5(m^(5)U)and cytosine-C5(m^(5)C)of tRNAs,followed by the production of various tsRNAs,especially Class I tsRNAs(tRF-1s).Through further screening,we show that tRF-Gln-CTG-026(tG026),the optimal tRF-1,ameliorates liver injury by repressing global protein synthesis through the weakened association between TSR1(pre-rRNA-processing protein TSR1 homolog)and pre-40S *** study indicates the potential of tsRNA-reduced global protein synthesis in liver injury and repair,suggesting a potential therapeutic strategy for liver injury.

In this paper,through experiments and DEM simulations,it is found that there is a ring-shaped region named Quasi-static Region between the particles expanding outward and the particles collapsing inward during the impact ***-static Region is always generated from the impact point at the same time,and then spreads out at a uniform *** the propagation of Quasi-static Region,the velocity of the particles in the particle extend region varies linearly in space and *** the change rate is only related to the properties of the particle *** simulation results show that the particle flow in Quasi-static Region is elastic-inertial flow,while the particle flow expanding outward and collapsing inward is inertial flow.

Moiré heterostructures, where the constituent 2D materials are stacked vertically at a small angle, feature longwavelength interference pattern at the van der Waals interfaces. One typical example is twisted bilayer graphene. In this moiré heterostructure, the emergence of moiré superlattices can effectively reconstruct the energy bands into dispersionless flat bands at a special twisted angle(so-called ‘magic angle’).

Endoscopic transgastric drainage of a gastric wall abscess after endoscopic submucosal dissection

A 63-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for further examination because of an incidental finding of early gastric *** submucosal dissection(ESD)was successfully performed for complete resection of the *** the first post-ESD day,the patient suddenly complained of abdominal pain after an episode of *** computed tomography(CT)showed delayed perforation after *** patient was conservatively treated with an intravenous proton pump inhibitor and *** the fifth post-ESD day,CT revealed a gastric wall abscess in the gastric *** revealed a gastric fistula at the edge of the post-ESD ulcer,and pus was found flowing into the *** intradrainage stent and an extradrainage nasocystic catheter were successfully inserted into the abscess for endoscopic transgastric *** the procedure,the clinical symptoms and laboratory test results improved *** months later,a follow-up CT scan showed no collection of ***,the intradrainage stent was *** the gastric wall abscess recurred 2 wk after stent removal,it recovered soon after endoscopic transgastric ***,after stent removal and oral antibiotic treatment for 1 mo,no recurrence of the gastric wall abscess was found.

Chemical vapor deposition synthesis of two-dimensional freestanding transition metal oxychloride for electronic applications

Two-dimensional transition metal oxychlorides(MOCl, M = Fe, Cr, V, Ti, Sc) with the metaloxygen plane sandwiched by two layers of chloride ions possess many exotic physical properties. Nevertheless,it is of great challenge to grow two-dimensional single-crystal MOCl because polyvalent nature of transition metal elements usually gives rise to mixed oxyhalides compounds with distinct physical properties. Here, we take VOCl as an example to present a solution for synthesizing 2 D freestanding MOCl with various thicknesses through chemical vapor deposition(CVD) method. The single crystal and elementary composition as well as elements ratio of as-grown samples have been characterized through measurements of X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy, respectively. Furthermore, we demonstrate that 2 D VOCl-based memristive devices show low power consumption and excellent device reliability due to the layered-structure and electrically insulating properties of 2 D VOCl flakes. Besides, we utilize the feature of multilevel resistive switching that memristive devices exhibit to emulate depression and potentiation of synaptic plasticity. This method developed in this study may open up a new avenue for the growth of 2 D MOCl with single crystal and pave the way for high-performance electronic applications.

Goal:To investigate the current status of quality of life of postoperative patients with gynaecological tumours,and to analyse the relevant factors affecting the quality of life of postoperative patients with gynaecological ***:One hundred and fifty-three postoperative gynecological oncology patients who attended the gynaecology and oncology departments of three tertiary hospitals in Henan Province from June 2023 to March 2024 were investigated by convenience sampling *** patients’postoperative survival quality was investigated through the General Information Survey Scale and Quality of Life Score ***:The quality of life measurement scale score of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients in this study was(121.27±10.87),in which there was a difference in the quality of life of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients of different age,education level,marital status,and per capita monthly income of the family,p<***:The quality of life level of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients is generally good,and age,literacy,marital status,and per capita monthly family income are important factors in the postoperative quality of life of gynaecological oncology *** professionals should focus on patients with older age,lower education level,unstable marital status,and poor economic status,and provide personalised targeted interventions to improve their quality of life.

目的:探讨低温等离子体系统治疗扁桃体、腺样体肥大的效果。方法:选取2021年3月—2023年2月于海安市人民医院耳鼻咽喉科行手术治疗的扁桃体、腺样体肥大患者62例为研究对象,经随机数字表法分为等离子组(采用低温等离子体系统治疗)和非等离子组(采取常规鼻内镜切除术治疗),各31例。比较两组治疗效果、手术及术后康复指标、疼痛评分、炎性指标水平。结果:等离子组治疗总有效率高于非等离子组(P=0.022)。等离子组术中出血量少于非等离子组,手术时间、术腔伪膜脱落时间、住院时间均短于非等离子组(P<0.001)。术后12、24、48h,两组脸谱评分法评分均高于术后6h(P<0.05);术后各阶段,等离子组脸谱评分法评分均低于非等离子组(P<0.001)。术后3d,两组白细胞计数、C反应蛋白、降钙素原水平均高于术前,等离子组低于非等离子组(P<0.05)。结论:低温等离子体系统在扁桃体、腺样体肥大患者手术治疗中的应用效果显著,可有效促进患者恢复,缓解术后疼痛,降低炎性反应水平。

Objective Insomnia is the most common complaint in adolescents with mood disorders(MD).However, the psychopathological mechanisms associated with insomnia remain ***, we aimed to explore anxiety's mediating role in the effect of rumination on insomnia in MD *** A total of 569 MD patients were *** completed the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9), 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder(GAD-7) scale, and Insomnia Severity Index(ISI) to self-assess their mood and insomnia *** addition, the 21-item Chinese version of the Ruminative Response Scale(RRS) was used to assess rumination *** 1) The prevalence of insomnia in MD patients was 60.63%, with a higher prevalence in females(63.32%) *** patients(54.39%,x2=3.99, p =0.046).2) Compared to the non-insomnia group, the insomnia group had significantly higher mean PHQ-9 score.3) GAD-7 score(OR=1.322;95% CI: 1.259-1.389) and RRS depression-related rumination score(OR=1.041;95% CI: 1.013-1.069) were both independently associated with insomnia in adolescents with MD.4)Furthermore, the AUCROC was 0.86 for GAD-7 and 0.70 for RRS depression-related ***, when GAD-7 and RRS depression-related rumination scores were combined, we found a higher cumulative AUC value of 0.87 that distinguished MD adolescents with and without insomnia(p <0.001, 95% CI= 0.84-0.90).5) anxiety partially mediated the association between depression-related rumination and insomnia(direct effect = 0.052, SE = 0.025, 95% CI = [0.003, 0.102];indirect effect = 0.191, SE = 0.029, 95% CI = [0.138, 0.251]).Conclusion Our results suggest that depression-related rumination and anxiety are key risk factors for insomnia in adolescents with ***, anxiety can exacerbate the effects of depressionrelated rumination on insomnia, suggesting that clinical interventions to reduce depression-related rumination and anxiety may be a viable consideration for insomnia in adolescents w
