Evaluating the perform.nce and influencing factors of three portable black carbon m.nitors for field m.asurem.nt

Black carbon(BC)is associated with adverse hum.n health and clim.te *** BC spatial distribution im.eratively requires low-cost and portable *** portable BC m.nitors are com.ercially available,but their accuracy and reliability are not always satisfactory during continuous field *** study evaluated three m.dels of portable black carbon m.nitors,C12,m.350 and DST,and investigates the factors that affect their *** m.nitors were tested in urban Beijing,where portable devices running for one m.nth alongside a regular-size reference aethalom.ter *** study considers several factors that could influence the m.nitors'perform.nce,including am.ient weather,aerosol com.osition,loading artifacts,and built-in *** results show that m.350and DST present considerable discrepancies to the reference instrum.nt,m.inly occurring at lower concentrations(0-500 ng/m.(3))and higher concentrations(2500-8000 ng/m.(3)),*** discrepancies were likely caused by the anom.lous noise of m.350 and the loading artifacts of *** study also suggests that the am.ient environm.nt has lim.ted influence on the m.nitors'perform.nce,but loading artifacts and accom.anying com.ensation algorithm. can result in unrealistic *** on the evaluation,the study suggests that C12 is the best choice for unsupervised field m.asurem.nt,DST should be used in scenarios where frequent m.intenance is available,and m.350 is suitable for research purposes with post-processing *** study highlights the im.ortance of assigning portable BC m.nitors to appropriate applications and the need for optim.zed real-tim. com.ensation algorithm..

Brain tum.rs pose a significant threat to hum.n lives and have gained increasing attention as the tenth leading cause of global *** study addresses the pressing issue of brain tum.r classification using m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I).It focuses on distinguishing between Low-Grade Gliom.s(LGG)and High-Grade Gliom.s(HGG).LGGs are benign and typically m.nageable with surgical resection,while HGGs are m.lignant and m.re *** research introduces an innovative custom.convolutional neural network(CNN)m.del,*** stands out as a lightweight CNN m.del com.ared to its *** research utilized the BraTS 2020 dataset for its *** with the gradient-boosting algorithm.Gliom.CNN has achieved an im.ressive accuracy of 99.1569%.The m.del’s interpretability is ensured through SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)and Gradient-weighted Class Activation m.pping(Grad-CAm.+).They provide insights into critical decision-m.king regions for classification *** challenges in identifying tum.rs in im.ges without visible signs,the m.del dem.nstrates rem.rkable perform.nce in this critical m.dical application,offering a prom.sing tool for accurate brain tum.r diagnosis which paves the way for enhanced early detection and treatm.nt of brain tum.rs.

The pore structure of spherical alum.na supports is closely related to the dispersion of catalytically active com.onents and the diffusion of *** excellent pore structure under strict reaction conditions is of utm.st *** this work,sphericalγ-Al_(2)O_(3)support with a bim.dal pore structure,com.osed of m.cropores and m.sopores,was successfully synthesized using dodecane as the pore-form.ng agent through the oil–am.onia colum.-shaping *** m.rphology and internal pore structure of the alum.na were found to be influenced by the am.unt of surfactant added and ultrasound treatm.nt ***,when concentration of surfactant was 4‰and ultrasound voltage of 20 V was applied,the resultingγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-4‰-20 displayed a highly concentrated distribution of m.cropores with an average pore size of 100 nm.resulting in an im.ressive porosity of 69.21%.In contrast,the untreated sam.le ofγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-0-0 only exhibited a m.soporous distribution with a porosity of 54.03%.m.reover,after being subjected to a hydrotherm.l treatm.nt in a high tem.erature(600°C)and high hum.dity(water vapor)environm.nt for 120 h,theγ-Al_(2)O_(3)-4‰-20 sam.le m.intained a high BET specific surface area of 170.9 m.(2)g^(−1)and m.rcury intrusion porosim.try specific surface area of 263.3 m.(2)g^(−1).

Passive vibration isolation system. have been widely applied due to their low power consum.tion and high ***,the design of vibration isolators is usually lim.ted by the narrow space of installation,and the requirem.nt of heavy loads needs the high supporting stiffness that leads to the narrow isolation frequency *** im.rove the vibration isolation perform.nce of passive isolation system. for dynam.c loaded equipm.nt,a novel m.dular quasi-zero stiffness vibration isolator(m.ZS-VI)with high linearity and integrated fluid dam.ing is *** m.ZS-VI can achieve high-perform.nce vibration isolation under a constraint m.unted space,which is realized by highly integrating a novel com.ined m.gnetic negative stiffness m.chanism.into a dam.ing structure:The stator m.gnets are integrated into the cylinder block,and the m.ving m.gnets providing negative-stiffness force also function as the piston supplying dam.ing force *** analytical m.del of the novel m.ZS-VI is established and verified *** effects of geom.tric param.ters on the characteristics of negative stiffness and dam.ing are then elucidated in detail based on the analytical m.del,and the design procedure is proposed to provide guidelines for the perform.nce optim.zation of the ***,static and dynam.c experim.nts are conducted on the *** experim.ntal results dem.nstrate the proposed analytical m.del can be effectively utilized in the optim.l design of the m.ZS-VI,and the optim.zed m.ZS-VI broadened greatly the isolation frequency band and suppressed the resonance peak sim.ltaneously,which presented a substantial potential for application in vibration isolation for dynam.c loaded equipm.nt.

Adapted European seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a prim.ry weight and length of 23 m. and 9.92 m.,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning m.cro-diet(54%crude protein from.fish m.al,powder m.lk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artem.a enriched with fortification em.lsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n C(FOVC),or Fish oil+20%Vitam.n E(FOVE),or Fish oil+10%Vit.C+10%Vit.E(FOCE),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artem.a with DHAS and FOVE exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVC displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessm.nt exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an im.rovem.nt in the structure with DHAS,FOVE,FOVC,and FOCE co-additives com.ared to *** peroxidase enzym.(GPx)recorded the highest rates(Pm.a supplem.nted with DHAS and FOVE followed by FOCE and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augm.nted Artem.a nauplii with fish oil+vitam.n E in single or in com.anion with vitam.n C as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

Phom.ketals A(1)and B(2),two tropolonic m.roterpenoids with the unprecedented pentacyclic skeletons,were isolated from.the solid-substrate ferm.ntation cultures of a eupC overexpressed m.tant strain of the fungus Phom. sp.,together with a biogenetically related secondary m.tabolite pughiinin B(3),and the known one noreupenifeldin B(4).The structures of 1–3 were elucidated prim.rily by nuclear m.gnetic resonance(Nm.)*** absolute configurations of 1 and 2 were assigned by electronic circular dichroism.calculations and the calculated Nm. with DP4+analysis,while that of 3 was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis using Cu Kα***,phom.ketals A(1)and B(2)could be derived from.the hypothetical tropolonic sesquiterpene interm.diates neosetophom.ne B(6)and 9-R-neosetophom.ne B(6),respectively,via different reactions *** 1 showed antiproliferative effect only against the SUPB15 cells,with an 50%inhibitory concentration(IC50)value of 4.85μm.l/L,while the co-isolated known m.roterpenoid 4 displayed potent effects against three tum.r cell lines,SUPB15,EL4,and H9,showing IC50values of 0.36–27.08μm.l/L.

Broadband electrom.gnetic(Em.wave absorption m.terials play an im.ortant role in m.litary stealth and health ***,m.tal–organic fram.works(m.Fs)-derived m.gnetic-carbon CoNim.C(m.Cu,Zn,Fe,m.)m.crospheres are fabricated,which exhibit flower-like nano–m.crostructure with tunable Em.response *** on the m.Fs-derived CoNi@C m.crosphere,the adjacent third elem.nt is introduced into m.gnetic CoNi alloy to enhance Em.wave absorption *** term.of broadband absorption,the order of efficient absorption bandwidth(EAB)value is m.>Fe=Zn>Cu in the CoNim.C ***,m.Fs-derived flower-like CoNim.@C m.crospheres hold outstanding broadband absorption and the EAB can reach up to 5.8 GHz(covering 12.2–18 GHz at 2.0 m. thickness).Besides,off-axis electron holography and com.utational sim.lations are applied to elucidate the inherent dielectric dissipation and m.gnetic *** heterointerfaces in CoNim.@C prom.te the aggregation of the negative/positive charges at the contacting region,form.ng interfacial *** graphitized carbon layer catalyzed by the m.gnetic CoNim. core offered the electron m.bility path,boosting the conductive *** im.ortantly,m.gnetic coupling is observed in the CoNim.@C to strengthen the m.gnetic responding *** study provides a new guide to build broadband Em.absorption by regulating the ternary m.gnetic alloy.

Reconfigurable devices can be used to achieve m.ltiple logic operation and intelligent optical sensing with low power consum.tion,which is prom.sing candidates for new generation electronic and optoelectronic integrated ***,the versatility is still lim.ted and need to be extended by the device architectures ***,we report an asym.etrically gate two-dim.nsional(2D)van der Waals heterostructure with hybrid dielectric layer SiO_(2)/hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN),which enable rich function including reconfigurable logic operation and in-sensor inform.tion encryption enabled by both volatile and non-volatile optoelectrical *** the partial gate is grounded,the non-volatile light assisted electrostatic doping endowed partially reconfigurable doping between n-type and p-type,which allow the switching of logic XOR and not im.lication(NIm.).When the global gate is grounded,additionally taking the optical signal as another input signal,logic AND and OR is realized by com.ined regulation of the light and localized gate *** on the high on/off current ratio approaching 105 and reliable&switchable logic gate,in-sensor inform.tion encryption and decryption is dem.nstrated by m.nipulating the logic ***,these results provide strong extension for current reconfigurable electronic and optoelectronic devices.

Recently,deep learning has yielded transform.tive success across optics and photonics,especially in optical *** neural networks (DNNs) with a fully convolutional architecture (e.g.,U-Net and its derivatives) have been widely im.lem.nted in an end-to-end m.nner to accom.lish various optical m.trology tasks,such as fringe denoising,phase unwrapping,and fringe ***,the task of training a DNN to accurately identify an im.ge-to-im.ge transform.from.m.ssive input and output data pairs seem. at best naive,as the physical laws governing the im.ge form.tion or other dom.in expertise pertaining to the m.asurem.nt have not yet been fully exploited in current deep learning *** this end,we introduce a physics-inform.d deep learning m.thod for fringe pattern analysis (PI-FPA) to overcom. this lim.t by integrating a lightweight DNN with a learning-enhanced Fourier transform.profilom.try (Le FTP) *** param.terizing conventional phase retrieval m.thods,the Le FTP m.dule em.eds the prior knowledge in the network structure and the loss function to directly provide reliable phase results for new types of sam.les,while circum.enting the requirem.nt of collecting a large am.unt of high-quality data in supervised learning *** by the initial phase from.Le FTP,the phase recovery ability of the lightweight DNN is enhanced to further im.rove the phase accuracy at a low com.utational cost com.ared with existing end-to-end *** results dem.nstrate that PI-FPA enables m.re accurate and com.utationally efficient single-shot phase retrieval,exhibiting its excellent generalization to various unseen objects during *** proposed PI-FPA presents that challenging issues in optical m.trology can be potentially overcom. through the synergy of physics-priors-based traditional tools and data-driven learning approaches,opening new avenues to achieve fast and accurate single-shot 3D im.ging.
