This paper deals with detecting fetal electrocardiogram FECG signals from single-channel abdominal *** is based on the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)combined with advanced mathematical methods,such as Independent Component Analysis(ICA),Singular Value Decomposition(SVD),and a dimension-reduction technique like Nonnegative Matrix Factorization(NMF).Due to the highly disproportionate frequency of the fetus’s heart rate compared to the mother’s,the time-scale representation clearly distinguishes the fetal electrical activity in terms of ***,we can disentangle the various components of fetal ECG,which serve as inputs to the CNN model to optimize the actual FECG signal,denoted by FECGr,which is recovered using the SVD-ICA *** findings demonstrate the efficiency of this innovative approach,which may be deployed in real-time.

In data analysis tasks, we are often confronted to very high dimensional data. Based on the purpose of a data analysis study, feature selection will find and select the relevant subset of features from the original features. Many feature selection algorithms have been proposed in classical data analysis, but very few in symbolic data analysis （SDA） which is an extension of the classical data analysis, since it uses rich objects instead to simple matrices. A symbolic object, compared to the data used in classical data analysis can describe not only individuals, but also most of the time a cluster of individuals. In this paper we present an unsupervised feature selection algorithm on probabilistic symbolic objects （PSOs）, with the purpose of discrimination. A PSO is a symbolic object that describes a cluster of individuals by modal variables using relative frequency distribution associated with each value. This paper presents new dissimilarity measures between PSOs, which are used as feature selection criteria, and explains how to reduce the complexity of the algorithm by using the discrimination matrix.

The paper presents a robust parallel distributed compensation （PDC） fuzzy controller for a nonlinear and certain system in continuous time described by the Tal^gi-Sugeno （T-S） fuzzy model. This controller is based on a new type of time-varying fuzzy sets （TVFS）. These fuzzy sets are characterized by displacement of the kernels to the right or left of the universe of discourse, and they are directed by a well-defined criterion. In this work, we only focused on the movement of midpoint of the universe. The movements of this midpoint are optimized by particle swarm optimization （PSO） approach.

Large amplitude dust ion acoustic(DIA) solitons as well as double layers(DLs) are studied in a dusty plasma having a high-energy-tail electron distribution. The influence of electron deviation from the Maxwellian distribution and ion streaming on the existence domain of solitons is discussed in the(M, f) space using the pseudo-potential approach. It is found that in the presence of streaming ions and for a fixed f, solitons may appear for larger values of M. This means that in the presence of ion streaming, high values of the Mach number are needed to have soliton. The DIA solitary waves profile is highly sensitive to the ion streaming speed. Their amplitude is found to decrease with an increase of the ion streaming speed. In addition, we find that the ion streaming effect may lead to the appearance of double layers. The results of this article should be useful in understanding the basic nonlinear features of DIA waves propagating in space dusty plasmas, especially those including a relative motion between species, such as comet tails and solar wind streams,etc.

This paper deals with a state model identification of a gas turbine used for gas transport, using a subspace approach of the state space model. This method provides a reliable and robust state representation of the model, taking advantage of its benefits in the control, monitoring, and supervision of this machine. The model for each variable is set so that the state matrices associated with the gas turbine model are determined from their real input/output data. The comparison of the obtained identification results with those of the actual turbine operation serves to validate the proposed model in this work. This numerical algorithm of the subspace identification method is full of information and more accurate in terms of residual modeling error, and expresses a very high level of confidence in the identified turbine system dynamics. Hence, the controllability and observability tests of turbine operation for different input/output variables allowed to validate the real-time operating stability of the turbine.

A Novel Active Learning Method Using SVM for Text Classification

Support vector machines（SVMs） are a popular class of supervised learning algorithms, and are particularly applicable to large and high-dimensional classification problems. Like most machine learning methods for data classification and information retrieval, they require manually labeled data samples in the training stage. However, manual labeling is a time consuming and errorprone task. One possible solution to this issue is to exploit the large number of unlabeled samples that are easily accessible via the internet. This paper presents a novel active learning method for text categorization. The main objective of active learning is to reduce the labeling effort, without compromising the accuracy of classification, by intelligently selecting which samples should be *** proposed method selects a batch of informative samples using the posterior probabilities provided by a set of multi-class SVM classifiers, and these samples are then manually labeled by an expert. Experimental results indicate that the proposed active learning method significantly reduces the labeling effort, while simultaneously enhancing the classification accuracy.

We examine the effect of the electron exchange-correlation on weak and arbitrary amplitude quantum dust ion-acoustic(QDIA) *** reduced quantum hydrodynamic(QHD) model is *** out a fully nonlinear analysis,it is found that the effect of the exchange-correlation on the main quantities for solitary-wave propagation can be quite *** particular,it may be noted that the arbitrary amplitude QDIA soliton experiences a spreading as the phenomenon of exchange-correlation becomes ***,our results show that the exchange-correlation effects inhibit the formation of the flat-bottomed solitons and do not favor their *** turns out that exchangecorrelation and quantum diffraction may act concurrently to set up the conditions for the existence of the QDIA solitary *** results complement and provide new insight into our previously published work on this problem.

The propagation and interaction between ion acoustic multi-solitons in an unmagnetized multicomponent plasma consisting of fluid hot ions, positrons and both hot and cold electrons, are investigated by employing the extended Poincare–Lighthill–Kuo (PLK) method. Two different Kortewege-de Vries (K-dV) equations are derived. The Hirota's method is applied to get the K-dV multi-solitons solution. The phase shift due to the overtaking and head- on collision of the multi-solitons is obtained.

The present work relates to a numerical investigation of double diffusive mixed convection around a horizontal annulus with a finned inner *** solutal and thermal buoyancy forces are sustained by maintaining the inner and outer cylinders at uniform temperatures and *** effects are also considered,with the Boussinesq *** forced convection effect is induced by the outer cylinder rotating with an angular velocity(ω)in an anti-clockwise *** studies are made for various combinations of dimensionless numbers;buoyancy ratio number(N),Lewis number(Le),Richardson number(Ri)and Grashof number(Gr).The isotherms,isoconcentrations and streamlines as well as both average and local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers were studied.A finite volume scheme is adopted to solve the transport equations for continuity,momentum,energy and mass *** results indicate that the use of fins on the inner cylinder with outer cylinder rotation,significantly improves the heat and mass transfer in the annulus.
