Online Food Delivery Platforms(OFDPs)has witnessed phenomenal growth in the past few years,especially this year due to the COVID-19 *** Pandemic has forced many governments across the world to give momentum to OFD services and make their presence among the *** Presence of several multinational and national companies in this sector has enhanced the competition and companies are trying to adapt various marketing strategies and exploring the brand experience(BEX)dimension that helps in enhancing the brand equity(BE)of *** are critical for building brand loyalty(BL)and making companies *** can experience different kinds of brand experiences through feeling,emotions,affection,behavior,and *** present research work is taken up to analyze the factors affecting BEX and its impact on BL and BE of the OFDPs and analyze the mediating role of BL in the relationship between BEX and BE of the OFDPs in the Indian context.A survey of 457 Indian customers was carried out.A questionnaire was used for data collection and a mediation study was used to test hypothesized *** computational analysis reveals that BEX influences the BL and BE of *** study further indicates that BL mediates the relationship between BEX and BE of *** effective marketing and relationship management practices will help company to enhance BEX that will enable in enhancing BL and raising BE of their *** therefore provides a more thorough analysis of BEX constructs and their consequences than previous *** of the managerial implication,limitations,and scope of future research are also presented in the study.

Cadmium(Cd)induces several effects in different tissues,but our knowledge of the toxic effects on organelles is insuffi *** observe the progression of Cd effects on organelle structure and function,HuH-7 cells(human hepatic carcinoma cell line)were exposed to CdCl2 in increasing concentrations(1μM–20μM)and exposure times(2 h–24 h).During Cd treatment,the cells exhibited a progressive decrease in viability that was both time-and *** treated cells displayed progressive morphological changes that included cytoplasm retraction and nuclear condensation preceding a total loss of cell *** with 10μM for 12 h led to irreversible *** these drastic and irreparable damages,treated cells(5μM for 12 h)presented a progressive loss of mitochondrial function and cytoplasm acidifi cation as well as dysfunction and disorganization of microfi laments and endoplasmic *** damages led to the induction of apoptotic events and an increase in autophagic bodies in the *** results revealed that Cd affects multiple intra-cellular targets that induce alterations in the mitochondria,cytoskeleton,endoplasmic reticulum and acidic compartments,ultimately culminating in cell death via apoptotic and autophagic pathways.

Establishment of Local Diagnostic Reference Levels in Conventional Radiography: A Pilot Study in Dakar, Senegal

Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) are indicators that allow assessing the quality of equipment and procedures from the point of view of the doses delivered to patients and subsequently initiate corrective actions if necessary. The purpose of this study is to encourage health professionals to investigate patient radiation doses and to determine whether those doses comply with the principles of radiation protection in medical fields so as to improve practices by reducing patient exposure without reducing clinical effectiveness. To perform this work, we have investigated patient doses for different radiological examinations from six (6) medical centers in Dakar, including the following nine routine types: chest (PA), abdomen (AP), pelvis (AP), cervical spine (AP), lumbar spine (AP, Lat), hip (AP), thoracic spine (AP, Lat). Three types of data were collected, i.e., X-ray tube machine data, patient data and output measurements. The data were analyzed statistically and the median, minimum, maximum, and third quartile values were calculated and displayed throughout boxplots graphs for all exams and medical centers. The two sigma range (95% confidence interval) was also checked. Comparison of third quartiles of Entrance Surface Dose (ESD) and Dose Area Product (DAP) by type of examination with recommended international DRLs was performed. The third quartile of ESD for pelvis (AP) and thoracic spine (AP) was up to 16% and 38% higher, respectively than their corresponding DRLs in the European Commission Report RP 180 Part 2. For all exams, except thoracic spine (lat), the third quartiles of the dose area product were higher than the corresponding DRLs in the above report. The source of dose variability between medical centers was related to many parameters such as poor radiographic techniques, lack of modern X-ray machines and adequately documented radiation protection practices. Experimental setup of transient decay which occurs between two steady state operating points is recalled. The continuity equation is resolved using both the junction dynamic velocity (Sf) and back side recombination velocity (Sb). The transient excess minority carriers density appears as the sum of infinite terms. Influence of magnetic field on the transient excess minority carriers density and transient photo voltage is studied and it is demonstrated that the use of this technique is valid only when the magnetic field is lower than 0.001 T.

In this study,biodiesel fuel was produced from rapeseed oil via transesterification *** optimum reaction conditions were determined by varying alcohol type and its concentration considering their influence on the yield and properties of produced *** and ethanol were alcohol used in the transesterification *** density of biodiesel was measured at 15℃according to EN ISO 12185 test method and its viscosity was determined at 40℃by using a Brookfield digital viscometer(DV-II+Pro).Shimadzu Auto-Calculating Bomb calorimeter CA-4AJ was used to measure the high heating *** optimum transesterification conditions found were alcohol:oil ratio of 18:1,1%of potassium hydroxide as catalyst,60 min of reaction time,60℃of reaction temperature and stirring speed of 650 *** properties under these conditions satisfied the regulatory standards and are slightly similar to those of mineral diesel tested in same *** methanol gives better results compared to ethanol.

Northeastern Tropical Atlantic SST and Sahel Rainfall Variability

The SST variability during the summer period in the northeastern tropical Atlantic region (NTA) is characterized by an alternation of warming/cooling which represents 87% of the total variability. The aim of this paper is to study the atmospheric responses as well as the precipitation associated with these oceanic conditions. Based on Reynolds’s SST from 1982 to 2019, a normalized Northern Tropical Atlantic index (NTAI) is computed into the region between 15° - 25°W;12° - 16°N and a composite analysis is then performed. It is shown that the NTAI is significantly correlated with the SST’s first principal component mode (PC1) in this region. Moreover, the composite of SST anomalies and atmospheric parameters exhibits a strong local ocean-atmosphere interaction which highly impacts the large-scale atmospheric circulation in West Africa, particularly in the western Sahel. An in-depth analysis shows that the atmospheric response to the warm (cold) SST is a cyclonic (anticyclonic) circulation in the lower layers near the West Africa Coast. This cyclonic (anticyclonic) circulation strengthens/reduces the moisture transport towards the continent in the low levels. In the middle layers of the atmosphere (500 hPa), the warm (cold) composite is associated with a decrease (increase) in the intensity of the African Easterly Jet (AEJ) whereas, in the upper atmosphere (200 hPa), the strengthening (weakening) of the Tropical Easterly Jet (TEJ) is observed. With regard to the composite precipitation field, a positive/negative SST anomaly is associated with significantly enhanced/reduced rainfall in the western Sahelian region. It is found that this relationship (correlation) increases as we are closer to the coasts.

Homozygous Hemoglobinosis CC: A Series of 3 Cases and a Review of the Literature

Hemoglobinosis C occurs mainly in Africa and America with a high frequency in West Africa. In Senegal, homozygous hemoglobinopathy CC constitutes a very rare profile of which only 3 cases are followed in the clinical hematology department of Dakar. The 1st case is a 49-year-old female patient, with notion of 1st degree consanguinity, and a long history of abdominal pain who presented a poorly tolerated anemic syndrome and splenomegaly. The biological assessment showed moderate anemia (7.6 g/dL) with microcytic hypochromia and a CC profile (HbC = 99.2%;HbA2 = 0.8%) on hemoglobin electrophoresis. The second case was a 22-year-old female patient with a notion of 2nd degree consanguinity who presented a Chauffard triad. The haemogram showed mild anaemia (11 g/dL), microcytic and hypochromic. Hemoglobin electrophoresis confirmed a CC profile (HbC = 95.3%;HbA2 = 4.7%). The third patient was 27 years old, with a history of diffuse abdominal pain and 2nd degree consanguinity. The haemogram and haemoglobin electrophoresis confirmed the CC profile (HbC = 94.6%;HbA2 = 5.4%). The negativity of the Emmel test in front of this presentation suggestive of sickle cell disease means that this type of hemoglobinopathy is diagnosed late in our regions. We therefore recommend the systematic performance of hemoglobin electrophoresis in the presence of any chronic hemolytic anemia.
