Over the last decade,there is a surge of attention in establishing ambient assisted living(AAL)solutions to assist individuals live *** a social and economic perspective,the demographic shift toward an elderly population has brought new challenges to today’s *** can offer a variety of solutions for increasing people’s quality of life,allowing them to live healthier and more independently for *** this paper,we have proposed a novel AAL solution using a hybrid bidirectional long-term and short-term memory networks(BiLSTM)and convolutional neural network(CNN)*** first pre-processed the signal data,then used timefrequency features such as signal energy,signal variance,signal frequency,empirical mode,and empirical mode *** convolutional neural network-bidirectional long-term and short-term memory(CNN-biLSTM)classifier with dimensional reduction isomap algorithm was then used to select ideal *** assessed the performance of our proposed system on the publicly accessible human gait database(HuGaDB)benchmark dataset and achieved an accuracy rates of 93.95 percent,*** reveal that hybrid method gives more accuracy than single classifier in AAL *** suggested system can assists persons with impairments,assisting carers and medical personnel.

Gaining an understanding of the effects and dynamics of the solar wind is crucial for the study of space weather,Earth's magnetosphere,spacecraft protection,the dynamics of the Solar System,and various other *** show that Alfvén waves effectively transfer energy to resonant *** study demonstrates how inertial Alfvén waves deliver their energy to resonant plasma particles in different solar environments under certain *** analysis shows that inertial Alfvén waves experience more rapid damping with increasing parallel wavenumber,ambient magnetic field strength,and particle number density,coupled with a decrease in *** rate of energy transfer to resonant particles intensifies with higher temperatures and reduced parallel wavenumber and particle number *** with higher initial velocities actively participate in Landau damping,especially in regions with a stronger ambient magnetic field.

Background: Critical Thinking (CT) dispositions in nursing are prominent predictors of competence in delivering high-quality care, and of professionalism, in newly graduated nurses. CT skills, in isolation of CT dispositions, do not guarantee success in the workplace, because Critical Thinking Dispositions (CTD) are important elements of intellectual reasoning that simulate a person towards using the CT skills. Therefore, nursing educational programs should promote lifelong learning rather than focusing on transferring the content of nursing knowledge only. And for this purpose, quality education is the key. Education should focus on teaching from diverse perspectives, incorporating various teaching learning strategies that are congruent with the modern era. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore critical thinking dispositions among final year Baccalaureate Nursing students of various military colleges of nursing, in Pakistan. Methodology: A descriptive qualitative exploratory study design was used to investigate the CTD of BSc final year nursing students. The study population included twelve willing nursing students, from six military colleges across the country. Demographic information and consent was taken from the participants of the study. In-depth interviews, through a semi structured interview guide, and probes were used to obtain data related to personal experiences of CTD amongst the nursing students. Results: Data analysis showed two broad themes: 1) Perceptions of CT, and 2) Experiences of CT dispositions. In theme one, the emerging category was: Clarity of CT;whereas in theme two, the categories that emerged were: a) Truth Seeking, b) Open Mindedness, c) Inquisitiveness, and d) Self Organization. Conclusion: The findings of the study revealed positive dispositions towards truth seeking, open mindedness, and self-organization, whereas disposition towards inquisitiveness was weak. 土壤酶以及化学计量比是表征土壤养分可用性和微生物养分限制的关键指标。然而,对川西亚高山天然林转换为人工林后土壤酶活性和化学计量比的变化特征及其关键驱动因素尚不清晰。本研究以川西亚高山云杉天然次生林和人工林为对象,测定了两种林分的土壤理化性质和酶活性。结果表明:(1)天然林土壤碳氮比(C∶N)显著低于人工林(P<0.05),其土壤碳磷比(C∶P)和氮磷比(N∶P)则均显著高于人工林土壤(P<0.05);(2)天然林的酶碳氮比(C∶N_(EEA))和酶碳磷比(C∶P_(EEA))显著高于人工林,而酶氮磷比(N∶P_(EEA))却显著低于人工林(P<0.01);人工林的碳质量指数CQI1和CQI2显著高于天然林(P<0.05),而矢量长度和矢量角度显著低于天然林(P<0.01);(3)天然林土壤微生物受到了一定程度的碳、磷限制,人工林土壤微生物则受氮严重限制;(4)冗余分析结果表明,全氮是影响酶化学计量比的主要因素。以上研究结果表明,在本区域内人工林土壤养分管理中,需充分考虑微生物对氮素的需求。

Ray tracing is a computer graphics method that renders images realistically. As the name suggests, this technique primarily traces the path of light rays interacting with objects in a scene [1], permitting the calculation of lighting and reflecting impact [2]. As ray tracing is a time-consuming process, the need for parallelization to solve this problem arises. One downside of this solution is the existence of race conditions. In this work, we explore and experiment with a different, well-known solution for this race condition. Starting with the introduction and the background section, a brief overview of the topic is followed by a detailed part of how the race conditions may occur in the case of the ray tracing algorithm. Continuing with the methods and results section, we have used OpenMP to parallelize the Ray tracing algorithm with the different compiler directives critical, atomic, and first-private. Hence, it concluded that both critical and atomic are not efficient solutions to produce a good-quality picture, but first-private succeeded in producing a high-quality picture.

川西亚高山地区天然林向人工林的转换造成了土壤生态功能的退化,而细菌群落对土壤生态功能维持和提升有重要的调节作用;然而,关于天然林向人工林转换对土壤细菌群落及功能群影响的研究目前还比较缺乏.以川西亚高山云杉天然林和人工林为研究对象,采用高通量测序和Faprotax功能预测相结合的研究方法测定土壤细菌群落组成、多样性和功能群,分析森林转换对它们的影响,阐明驱动变化的关键因子.结果表明:云杉天然林土壤细菌群落的Shannon指数显著高于云杉人工林土壤,而Simpson指数显著低于人工林.主坐标分析(PCoA)显示天然林和人工林土壤细菌群落组成存在明显差异.两个林分共同拥有81.61%的OTUs数量,属水平上相对丰度大于1%的土壤细菌群落组成基本一致,共有23个属.其中慢生根瘤菌属(Bradyrhizobium)、Vicinamibacterales和KD4-96是两个森林类型中具有显著差异的优势属.通过功能预测分析发现,云杉人工林中化能异养作用、有氧化能异养作用和固氮作用优势细菌功能群的相对丰度显著高于天然林.冗余分析(RDA)结果表明土壤pH、含水率、全氮、铵态氮、微生物生物量氮是影响土壤细菌群落组成和功能群的主要因子.综上,川西亚高山云杉天然林向人工林转换显著影响土壤细菌群落多样性和组成,并提高了与碳氮循环相关的细菌功能群的相对丰度;上述研究结果可为深入理解森林转换对土壤生态功能的影响提供科学依据.
