Many types of research focus on utilizing Palmprint recognition in user identification and *** Palmprint is one of biometric authentication(something you are)invariable during a person’s life and needs careful protection during enrollment into different biometric authentication *** and irreversibility are critical requirements for securing the Palmprint template during enrollment and *** paper proposes an innovative HAMTE neural network model that contains Hetero-Associative Memory for Palmprint template translation and projection using matrix multiplication and dot product multiplication.A HAMTE-Siamese network is constructed,which accepts two Palmprint templates and predicts whether these two templates belong to the same user or different *** HAMTE is generated for each user during the enrollment phase,which is responsible for generating a secure template for the enrolled *** proposed network secures the person’s Palmprint template by translating it into an irreversible template(different features space).It can be stored safely in a trusted/untrusted third-party authentication system that protects the original person’s template from being *** results are conducted on the CASIA database,where the proposed network achieved accuracy close to the original accuracy for the unprotected Palmprint *** recognition accuracy deviated by around 3%,and the equal error rate(EER)by approximately 0.02 compared to the original data,with appropriate performance(approximately 13 ms)while preserving the irreversibility property of the secure ***,the brute-force attack has been analyzed under the new Palmprint protection scheme.

This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-Mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.

The study was sought to enhance the synthesis of thermal stableβ-cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase(β-CGTase)using potato wastewater as a low-cost medium and assess the degree to which it is efficient for industrial production ofβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD)from raw potato *** bacteria producingβ-CGTase was isolated from Saudi Arabia and the promising strain was identified as Bacillus licheniformis using phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA ***-encapsulated cultures exhibited twice-fold ofβ-CGTase production more than free *** electron microscopy(SEM)of polymeric capsules indicated the potential for a longer shelf-life,which promotes the restoration of activity in bacterial cells across semi-continuous fermentation ofβ-CGTase production for 252 *** optimal conditions forβ-CGTase synthesis using potato wastewater medium were at 36 h,pH of 8.0,and 50°C with 0.4%potato starch and 0.6%yeast extract as carbon and nitrogen sources,*** purified enzyme showed a specific activity of 63.90 U/mg with a molecular weight of∼84.6 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE *** high enzyme activity was observed up to 60°C,and complete stability was achieved at 75°*** levels of activity and stability were shown at pH 8.0,and the pH range from 7.0–10.0,*** enzyme has an appreciable affinity for raw potato starch with a Km of 5.7×10−6 M and a Vmax of 87.71μmoL/mL/min.β-CD production was effective against 25 U/g of raw potato *** outcomes demonstrated its feasibility to develop a fermentation process by integrating the cost-effective production ofβ-CGTase having distinctive properties forβ-CD production with ecofriendly utilization of potato wastewater.

Small non-protein coding micro-RNAs are regularly exported out of cells, both in health and disease. More than ninety percent of extracellular miRNAs are associated with lower-molecular-mass complexes bound to Argonaute 2 (Ago2), nucleophosmin-1 (NPM1) and high density lipoproteins (HDL), whereas the rest (~10%) are membrane-vesicle-encapsulated within exosomes, shedding microvesicles and apoptotic bodies. Regardless of the debate of the nature of circulating miRNA as byproducts of routine cell activities or mediators of cell-cell communication, proper understanding of the molecular behaviors of miRNA in health and disease, is expected to open a new gate for the discovery of new diagnostic tools and possibly therapeutic implementation in the near future.

Efficient Approach for Monitoring and Controlling Water Parameters Utilizing Integrated Treatment Based on WSNs

Research works of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) applications and its constraints solutions occupy wide area around the world and attract many researchers. In this paper, an important one of environmental WSN applications is presented that is the water monitoring applications. An efficient approach for monitoring and controlling water parameters in real-time is implemented utilizing merging between WSN and designed simple workstation. For implementation simplicity, two water parameters (pH and temperature) are monitored and controlled in the proposed approach. Most of past work of water monitoring presented different proposed monitoring scenarios for different water parameters only. This research work utilizes the concept of interactive WSN nodes. The interactive nodes interact with the monitored water parameters to control its value. In the base station, the collected data is analyzed and the real-time value of the monitored parameters appears on the designed Graphic User Interface (GUI). The GUI is designed using the Matlab program. Through the GUI, the operator can switch the control between automatic and manual. ZigBee module is used for implementing the wireless communications between the nodes and the workstation. Due to the cost and simplicity, two sensors only are used in the proposed approach. Different real-time experiments are performed to test and measure the effectiveness and performance of the presented approach. These experiments reveal that the presented approach is effective for water treatment and efficient more than the past proposed water monitoring scenarios.

Controllable synthesis of Na P zeolite and its application in calcium adsorption

NaP zeolite particles were prepared through a template-free hydrothermal condition at 100oC. Parameters like Na2O/Si O2 and Si O2/Al2O3 molar ratios, gel aging time and aging temperature were investigated for regulating the crystallization of the final product. The samples at different synthesis stages were characterized with N2 adsorption at-196oC, field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), temperature programmed desorption of ammonia adsorption, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric and differential scanning calorimetry analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The experimental results evidenced that a high ordering crystallinity of Na P zeolite was obtained at Na2O/Si O2 and Si O2/Al2O3 molar ratios of 1.10 and 1.40, respectively, and a temperature of 100°C for 4 days of aging. FE-SEM image exhibited polycrystalline aggregates of Na P zeolite with crystallite sizes ranging up to 5.04 μm with cactus/cabbage like structures. The quantitative analysis of the total number of acid sites was found to increase as Na2 O increases. The Na P zeolite sample with a Na2O/Si O2 molar ratio of 1.13 exhibited a large fraction of the acid sites on its external surface, contrary to that synthesized with a relevant ratio of 1.10. The optimized Na P zeolite could be successfully bestowed with excellent sorption properties of Ca(II) in aqueous solution. The kinetic parameters for Ca(II) adsorption were thoroughly investigated.

Background: The response of ovaries during controlled ovarian stimulation is the most important factor for evaluating the pregnancy outcome in assisted reproductive techniques. Aim: The study is to assess the role of a nurse in giving induction of ovulation medications at assisted reproduction university center versus home medications by private In Vitro Fertilization and infertility center on clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Subjects and Methods: Case-control research design, conducted at two centers (Banon private center for IVF and Assisted Reproductive Unit at Women health hospital, Assiut University) during the period from February 2018 to November 2018. The sample size included 150 women undergoing IVF for each group. Results: There is no statistically significant difference between women given IVF medications by the nurse at the public IVF center and women take IVF medication in the home at Banon IVF center as regards the outcome of IVF. Majority of infertile patients are satisfied with the care, they received and nearly third of them are satisfied with outcome of IVF in both groups, and there is statistically significant difference between satisfaction in public IVF center and satisfaction in private center in relation to information provided about IVF procedure, staff willingness to listen carefully and help patients;regular progress update on condition is in place with p value (0.000, 0.005, 0.003) respectively. Conclusion: IVF outcome isn’t significantly related to where induction medication was taken either at IVF center or at the home because infertile couples are keen to comply with all instructions on how to take medications with correct route, correct dose and on time. Recommendations: Empower the role of nurse as a health educator for women undergoing IVF about importance of stage of induction and take medications with correct route, correct dose and on time on outcome of IVF;other studies should also be conducted in other centers to furt

Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is often silent in diabetic patients, and it is typically in ad-vanced stages of development by the time it manifests. Various forms of stress testing have been investigated to detect obstructive CAD in diabetes mellitus. Ob-jectives: To assess the diagnostic value of dobutamine stress pulsed-wave Doppler tissue imaging (DTI) compared with standard wall motion analysis in de-tection of myocardial ischemia in diabetic patients with suspected CAD. Methods: The study comprised 46 diabetic patients with suspected CAD underwent dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) with DTI within 4 weeks before coronary angiography(CA). Dobutamine infusion started at 5 μ/kg/min and in-creased up to 40 μ/kg/min with additional atropine during submaximal heart rate responses. In addition to wall-motion score index (WMSI) analysis, pulsed- wave DTI examination of basal and mid segments of posteroseptal, lateral, anterior, inferior and antero- septal walls was performed. Myocardial velocities were measured at rest in the apical 4, 3 and 2-cham- ber views. The measurements were repeated at low dose (10 - 15 μ/kg/min) and at peak stress (40 μ/kg/min). DTI measurements included peak systolic velocity (S), peak early diastolic velocity (E) and peak late diastolic velocity (A) and the results were com-pared to WMSI analysis. Patients were classified into two groups according to CA results;group (I) di-abetics with positive CA (n = 27) and group (II) di-abetics with negative CA (n = 19). Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in duration of diabetes, global WMSI at rest or the ? changes (stress-rest/rest) of WMSI (P > 0.05). Global S and global E were significantly lower in group I compared to group II at peak stress (11.3 ± 3.7 cm/sec vs. 14.5 ± 2.2 cm/sec, p < 0.01) and (11.3 ± 1.6 cm/sec vs. 13.1 ± 2.1 cm/sec, p < 0.01) respectively. AIM To evaluate the evolution, trends in surgical approaches a n d r e c o n s t r u c t i o n t e c h n i q u e s, a n d i m p o r t a n t lessons learned from performing 1000 consecutive pancreaticoduodenectomies(PDs) for periampullary *** This is a retrospective review of the data of all patients who underwent PD for periampullary tumor during the period from January 1993 to April 2017. The data were categorized into three periods, including early period(1993-2002), middle period(2003-2012), and late period(2013-2017).RESULTS The frequency showed PD was increasingly performed after the year 2000. With time, elderly, cirrhotic and obese patients, as well as patients with uncinate process carcinoma and borderline tumor were increasingly selected for PD. The median operative time and postoperative hospital stay decreased significantly over the periods. Hospital mortality declined significantly, from 6.6% to 3.1%. Postoperative complications significantly decreased, from 40% to 27.9%. There was significant decrease in postoperative pancreatic fistula in the second 10 years, from 15% to 12.7%. There was a significant improvement in median survival and overall survival among the *** Surgical results of PD significantly improved, with mortality rate nearly reaching 3%. Pancreatic reconstruction following PD is still debatable. The survival rate was also improved but the rate of recurrence is still high, at 36.9%.
