Objective:The current study aimed to assess the knowledge and attitudes of nurses toward the current COVID-19 pandemic and Omicron *** and Methods:A cross-sectional online survey was *** 277 Egyptian nurses completed an electronic questionnaire comprising demographics with 5 items,nurses’knowledge on Omicron with 18 questions,and nurses’attitudes on Omicron with 5 *** data collected were expressed using numbers,percentages,and mean and standard ***:The mean age of nurses was 27±5 years,nearly 50%of the nurses were bachelor *** total score of correct answers related to knowledge was 75%,showing the different degrees of knowledge about *** majority of nurses showed positive attitudes toward controlling and managing the COVID-19 ***:Egyptian nurses have average knowledge about Omicron and a positive attitude toward controlling the COVID-19 *** should be scope for further assessment to enhance understanding about ***,health education programs should be developed for nursing staff to improve information,beliefs,behaviors,and attitudes towards the Omicron variant in particular and the COVID-19 pandemic in general.

Objective:To determine the risk factors for dehydration in elderly people in one of Elbehira Governorate’s ***:A descriptive correlational design was utilized in this *** study was conducted at Elnemaria village,Markaz Abo Elmatamir,Elbehira Governorate,*** were collected using 3 tools:a structured interviewing questionnaire,a dehydration knowledge questionnaire,and a dehydration risk appraisal ***:The study found that 29.5%of the par ticipants were aged between 65 and *** constituted 51%of the study par *** majority of the study participants regularly took anti-acids,anti-inflammatory drugs,and *** the elderlies comprising the respondents,40%had a low level of knowledge regarding *** than half of the study subjects were at moderate risk for ***:The study showed that half of the par ticipants had diabetes and a medium level of information about *** study also showed in general that the elderly in the village are exposed to a moderate dehydration rate,and there is also a strong relationship between taking different types of medication and the occurrence of dehydration.

Objective:Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)requires comprehensive *** nursing protocols may enhance outcomes,but evidence is *** study evaluated the effect of a structured nursing protocol on RA *** and Methods:In this one-group pre-post study,30 Egyptian RA patients completed assessments before and after a 12-week nursing protocol comprising education,psychosocial support,and self-management *** included clinical evaluation of joint counts,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)and patient-reported Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale(ASES),Health Assessment Questionnaire(HAQ),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)for pain,and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).Results:The study demonstrated significant improvements in both clinical-and patient-reported *** count decreased from 18.4±4.2 to 14.2±3.8(P<0.001),ESR from 30.1±6.8 mm/h to 25.5±6.8 mm/h(P<0.01),and CRP levels from 15.2±3.6 mg/L to 11.8±2.9 mg/L(P<0.01)***-reported outcomes showed a marked increase in ASES score from 140±25 to 170±30(P<0.001)and reductions in HAQ from 1.6±0.4 to 1.3±0.3(P<0.01),VAS pain score from 7.8±1.7 to 6.2±1.2(P<0.001),and HADS anxiety and depression scores from 11±3 to 8±2(P<0.05)and 10±2 to 7±1(P<0.05),***:A structured nursing protocol significantly improved clinical disease activity,physical functioning,pain,self-efficacy,and emotional well-being in RA patients.A multifaceted nursing intervention appears beneficial for optimizing RA outcomes.

Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the effects of foot reflexology on fatigue and sleep quality in school-aged children receiving ***:A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design was *** children of ages 6-12 undergoing in-center hemodialysis were *** Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Inventory of Fatigue Symptom(IFS)scales were administered at *** then received 30 min of foot reflexology massage before hemodialysis sessions 3 days per week for 12 *** administration of the sleep and fatigue scales occurred after the intervention ***:Reflexology massage led to significant improvements in sleep quality components,including duration(0%-30%normal sleepers),efficiency(0%-50%>85%),latency(50%-0%>60 min),disturbances,and daytime *** mean PSQI score decreased from 18.2 to 9.7(P<0.05).Fatigue severity substantially decreased,with the mean IFS score improving from 105.7 to 64.1(P<0.05).Conclusion:Foot reflexology is an effective nursing intervention for reducing fatigue and improving sleep quality in children on hemodialysis,warranting integration into routine care.

Objective:This research study explores the perceptions of gerontological nursing competencies,attitudes toward older individuals,and the willingness to provide care for the elderly among internship nursing *** and Methods:A convenience sample of 350 internship nursing students from Cairo University Faculty of Nursing participated in the *** were collected using a set of comprehensive tools,including personal data and work experience assessment,the Hartford geriatric nurse competency tool,Kogan’s attitudes toward old people scale,and the modified elderly patient care ***:Descriptive analysis revealed balanced gender representation,with 60%identifying as *** percent of participants reported prior experience in gerontological ***-assessed competency scores indicated moderate proficiency in communication,physiological changes,and functional status *** such as pain management and restraint use demonstrated potential gaps in self-perceived *** toward older individuals were predominantly positive,and the willingness to provide care showed positive tendencies,with a minor degree of hesitation ***:The findings underscore the need for targeted interventions in nursing education to address competency gaps,enhance positive attitudes,and alleviate potential hesitations in caregiving for older *** the elderly population continues to grow,nursing education programs must prepare future practitioners to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of older adults.

This paper introduces a simple yet effective approach for developing fuzzy logic controllers(FLCs)to identify the maximum power point(MPP)and optimize the photovoltaic(PV)system to extract the maximum power in different environmental *** propose a robust FLC with low computational complexity by reducing the number of membership functions and *** optimize the performance of the FLC,metaheuristic algorithms are employed to determine the parameters of the *** evaluate the proposed FLC in various panel configurations under different environmental *** results indicate that the proposed FLC can easily adapt to various panel configurations and perform better than other benchmarks in terms of enhanced stability,responsiveness,and power transfer under various scenarios.

The 15%(Co-Mn)/TiO2,(Co/Mn=1/6) catalyst was prepared using fusion procedure and studied for the conversion of synthesis gas to C2 ～ 4 *** effects of calcination conditions and operation conditions such as the H 2 / CO molar feed ratio at different temperatures,gas hourly space velocity(GHSV) and total reaction pressure on the catalytic performance of catalyst were *** stability of the catalyst during 150 h at optimal operation conditions(t = 250℃ H2 /CO= 2/1,GHSV=1 500 h-1 and p =0.3 MPa) has been *** is found that this catalyst is high stable for production C2 ～ 4 *** of both precursors and calcined catalysts by powder X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) specific surface area measurement and thermal analysis methods such as thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) show that the different preparation method influences the catalyst precursor structure and morphology.
