AIm.To evaluate the functional and aesthetic outcom.s of upper eyelid cicatricial entropion（UCE） correction using anterior lam.llar recession（ALR） with addressing the associated conditions including derm.tochalasis,brow ptosis,blepharoptosis,and lid ***：Chart review of patients with upper lid cicatricial entropion who had undergone ALR from.2013 to 2016 was *** was defi ned as the lack of any lash in contact with the globe,no need for a second procedure,and acceptable cosm.sis at the fi nal follow ***：Sixty eight patients（97 eyelids） were operated by ALR with sim.ltaneous correction of associated lid problem. in each case when *** m.an followup tim. was 17.8 m.（range,6.0-24.0 m.）.Concom.tantly,levator tucking was perform.d in 19 eyelids（19.6%）,upper lid retractor recession in 18 eyelids（18.6%）,and internal browpexy in 31 eyelids（32.0%）.In 95.8% of patients（95%CI：0.85-0.96）,satisfactory functional and cosm.tic outcom. was achieved with a single surgical ***：Based on the principles of lam.llar recession and concurrently addressing the associated lid problem.,this approach is an effective and safe treatm.nt of UCE.

This paper discusses the use of atm.spheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasm. treatm.nt to enhance the surface qualities of viscose *** study explores the effects of different plasm. gases,discharge voltages,and exposure tim.s on the treated *** findings em.hasize the im.ortance of optim.zing the plasm.'s peak voltage to achieve the desired surface treatm.nt *** docum.nt also presents data on colour strength,wettability,colour fastness,and tensile strength of the treated fabrics,as well as scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.analysis of surface m.rphology and chem.cal analysis using fouriertransition infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and energy dispersive X-ray(EDX).The results show that treatm.nt at a peak voltage of 11.83 k V is m.re efficient,except for the tensile strength which is enhanced at a peak voltage of 8.92 k *** oxygen plasm. treatm.nt significantly im.roves the colour strength,which exhibits an increase from.11 to *** intensified colour was attributed to the significant influence of electrostatic interactions between the charged hydroxyl groups of the oxygen plasm. treated viscose textiles and the dye m.lecules,which enhance the *** oxygen DBD plasm. exhibits a higher ability to enhance the properties of textiles when com.ared to air and argon *** study presents a sustainable,econom.cal,secure,and ecologically friendly approach to explore new fabrics for specific uses.

Iron ore pellets are the m.in feedstock in ironm.king processes. While extensive research has addressed num.rical m.deling of the iron ore pellet induration process, little effort has been m.de to describe the intricate therm.chem.cal processes occurring within the reactor starting from.the pellet and particularly at the intra-particle scale. In this regard, discrete-continuous m.thods like CFD-DEm.can generate m.re realistic, irregular particle assem.lies, which leads to significantly m.re accurate predictions of voidage variation, wall effects, tem.erature distribution, and associated m.ss transfer phenom.na. This study presents a num.rical m.del based on com.utational fluid dynam.cs (CFD) coupled with the discrete elem.nt m.thod (DEm. to sim.late the therm.l induration process of iron ore pellets. The presented m.del solving heat, m.ss, and m.m.ntum.conservation equations for both continuous and discrete phases, provides detailed inform.tion on the therm.chem.cal aspects of the process. Pilot-scale induration experim.nt was conducted to validate m.del predictions in term. of therm.l history and final conversion fraction. It was found that inlet charge specifications, such as particle and pellet size, significantly im.act the productivity of pelletizing plants, highlighting the potential of the presented m.del to optim.ze the process and im.rove plant productivity.

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.

An in-process technology approach is proposed to identify the source of acid m.ne drainage(Am.)generation and prevent its form.tion in a porphyry copper waste rock(WR).Adopting actions before stockpiling the WR enables the establishm.nt of potential contam.nants and predicts the m.re convenient m.thod for Am. prevention.A WR sam.le was separated into size fractions,and the WR’s net acidgenerating potential was quantified using chem.cal and m.neralogical *** diam.ter of physical locking of sulfides(DPLS)was determ.ned,and the fractions below the DPLS were desulfurized using ***,the WR fractions and tailing from.the flotation test were subm.tted to acid-base accounting and weathering tests to evaluate their acid-generating *** show that the WR’s m.in sulfide m.neral is pyrite,and the DPLS was defined as 850μm.A sulfide recovery of 91%was achieved using a com.ination of HydroFloat^(®)and Denver cells for a size fraction lower than *** grinding was *** results show that size fractions greater than DPLS and the desulfurized WR are unlikely to produce *** outcom.s show that in-processing technology can be a m.re proactive approach and an effective tool for avoiding Am. in a porphyry copper WR.

Objective:Rheum.toid arthritis(RA)requires com.rehensive *** nursing protocols m.y enhance outcom.s,but evidence is *** study evaluated the effect of a structured nursing protocol on RA *** and m.thods:In this one-group pre-post study,30 Egyptian RA patients com.leted assessm.nts before and after a 12-week nursing protocol com.rising education,psychosocial support,and self-m.nagem.nt *** included clinical evaluation of joint counts,erythrocyte sedim.ntation rate(ESR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)and patient-reported Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale(ASES),Health Assessm.nt Questionnaire(HAQ),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)for pain,and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).Results:The study dem.nstrated significant im.rovem.nts in both clinical-and patient-reported *** count decreased from.18.4±4.2 to 14.2±3.8(Pm.30.1±6.8 m./h to 25.5±6.8 m./h(Pm.15.2±3.6 m./L to 11.8±2.9 m./L(Pm.s showed a m.rked increase in ASES score from.140±25 to 170±30(Pm.1.6±0.4 to 1.3±0.3(Pm.7.8±1.7 to 6.2±1.2(Pm.11±3 to 8±2(Pm.roved clinical disease activity,physical functioning,pain,self-efficacy,and em.tional well-being in RA patients.A m.ltifaceted nursing intervention appears beneficial for optim.zing RA outcom.s.
