Background: Complications linked to postpartum & pregnancy are one of the major causes of female death. In order to understand the causes of complications and encourage women to take sufficient action in order to receive emergency treatment, a critical step should therefore be taken to minimize complications related to pregnancy, in order to ensure the safety of both women and newborns. Aim of the work: Evaluate the effectiveness of the education programs for pregnant women on obstetric danger signs in rural areas and help minimize the incidence of pregnancy loss and comorbidities. Methods: A quasi-experimental design on 70 women from a population of through 372 women in six-month in antenatal clinics recruited from the previously mentioned settings with pre- and post-test was conducted at antenatal clinics (M.C.H centers) affiliated to the available geographical health zones in el-fayoum rural area including: Al-sheikh hassan at sanorse. The Isolation of Vibrio cholera and Other Enteric Bacteria with Molecular Characterization of Vibrio cholera during the Outbreak of Baghdad/Iraq in 2015

Vibrio cholera, causing acute watery diarrhea known as cholera disease, affects all ages and both genders. Cholera infection outbreaks in Iraq have been reported for several years. The recent cholera outbreak, emerged throughout 2015, was investigated using bacteriological laboratory tests, singleplex and multiplex PCR technique for the detection of V. cholera from stool samples. Furthermore the toxigenic potential coupled with the antibiotic susceptibility test for cholera and other bacteria were also investigated. The stool samples were collected from 5698 patients admitted to Al-Yarmouk Teaching hospital and health care centers in Baghdad/Al-Karkh, Iraq, from the 1st of August to the 30th of December 2015. The V. cholera was isolated from 194 cases (3.4% of the cases age between 21 - 50 years). In addition, other enteric infections: Salmonellosis and Shigellosis 7 and 21 respectively, protozoan parasite Giardia lamblia and Entamoeba histolytica 2 and 43 cases respectively were also reported. High percentage of V. cholera infection was detected in October (122 cases, 62.8%), compared with other enteric infections that show high percentage of diarrheal disease in September and November. The results have confirmed that the cholera outbreak was caused by V. cholera O1, biotype el Tor, and serotype Inaba. Seven virulence genes were identified ctxA, toxR, zot, ace, rfbO1, tcpA and ompW. Moreover, the cholera isolated strains were found sensitive to most antibiotic but resistant to nalidixic acid.

Chemical Composition,Cytotoxic and Anti-arthritic Activities of Hexane Extracts of Certain Schinus Species

The genus Schinus(Anacardiaceae)comprises about 29 species that are utilized in both traditional and current medicine to alleviate various disorders such as rheumatism,bronchial infections,stomach upset,menstrual disturbance,bronchitis,and *** this study we aimed to investigate the chemical composition of hexane extracts obtained from Schinus polygamous and Schinus terebinthifolius leaves as well as their cytotoxic and anti-arthritic *** GC-MS analysis of *** leaves revealed identification of fifty-five components:being betulin(6.54%),phytol acetate(5.27%),lupeol(3.96%),palmitic acid methyl ester(3.58%)and heptacosane(3.25%).While,seventeen compounds were identified in *** leaves,predominately characterized by phytol(14.70%),lupeol(13.33%),linolenic acid methyl ester(11.17%),palmitic acid methyl ester(7.74%),and 28-oxours-12-en-3-yl acetate(7.44%).Both extracts showed moderate cytotoxic activities against hepatocellular carcinoma cells with IC_(50) values of 102.65 and 65.55μg/mL,*** colorectal carcinoma cell line presented IC_(50) values of 217.78 and 83.55μg/mL,***,both extracts provided moderate anti-arthritic effects(IC_(50):80.12 and 63.09μg/mL,respectively)using protein denaturation test,compared to diclofenac sodium(IC_(50)=15.12μg/mL).

本文研究的是关于埃及中东部沙漠*** Missikat花岗岩侵入体外围与脉状铀矿床交接部位的构造。内容包括不同的构造特征,如交接部位的构造强度、不同地段的裂隙开度,长度以及横切和沿着含铀玉髓脉体上下接触带所呈现的构造格局,它们与地下采矿工程的对应情况。与玉髓脉体有关的构造活动,依据其擦痕面的擦痕来看是沿着旋转断层面的。显微构造分析沿此断层面也显示出位移。影像的线性构造分析显示出在花岗岩体中主要断裂的走向。地表铀矿化主要断裂走向为NEE—SWW和NW—SE,在采矿工程中发现逆时针旋转的断裂构造与地表走向为NE—SW的断裂构造有关。同时还发现了另外一组走向从NWW—SEE转到NW—SE的断裂构造。地表走向为NEE—SWW向的断裂和它在地下相对应的断裂走向为NE—SW向,且朝深部旋转角度继续增大。因而存在有铀矿向深部增加的可能性;作用在本区晚期的挤压应力来自NW和NNW方向;在此期间首先发生位移是NEE向扭性断裂,然后复活、张开和脉体贯入的硅化阶段,第二次活化的铀矿化阶段。
