Hydrogel is considered a. a. importa.t ma.eria. in our world nowa.a.s a. it is used in ma.y importa.t a.d significa.t a.plica.ions such a. in tissue engineering a.d a.riculture. There a.e hundreds of types of such ma.eria.s, where most of them ca. be ea.ily prepa.ed. The ma.n objective of this work is to prepa.e one of the hydrogel types which could be very useful in the a.riculture of deserts where pla.ts in dry pla.es require wa.er in order to grow up. There a.e ma.y pla.es a.ound the world where ra.ning occurs only once or twice a.yea.. There a.e a.so pla.es where it does not ra.n a. a.l. Therefore, hydrogels a.e required in order to a.sorb wa.er in la.ge qua.tities either during ra.ning or irriga.ion instea. of esca.ing to underground a.d then eject them to the roots of pla.ts over time a. the pla.ts require wa.ering. In this resea.ch a.hydrogel ba.ed on a.ryl a.ide, Poly 2-a.ryla.ide-2-Methyl-1-Propa.e Sulphonic a.id, (Pa.PS) wa. prepa.ed by using different percenta.es of a.suita.le cross-linking a.ent, Methylene-bis-a.ryla.ide. The cross-linker content is very importa.t fa.tor a.fects the ra.e a.d a.ount of a.sorbed wa.er. The highest a.ount of a.sorbed wa.er a. 25°C wa. observed by using 0.6% cross-linking a.ent ba.ed on monomer ma.s. The tempera.ure of a.sorbed wa.er a.d its pH va.ue a.e a.so essentia. fa.tors tha. a.fect the ra.e a.d the a.ount of a.sorbed wa.er a.d were investiga.ed in this work. The highest a.ount of a.sorbed wa.er wa. recorded a. pH = 12 a.d a. 60°C. The a.ount a.d the ra.e of wa.er a.sorbed by Sodium Polya.ryla.e Hydrogel were a.so investiga.ed a. 25°C. The a.riculture a.plica.ions of hydrogel ba.ed on Sodium Polya.ryla.e were exa.ined using Fenugreek seeds impla.ting.

Modified DB propella.ts, ba.ed on energetic nitra.ine(RDX) were ma.ufa.tured by solventless extrusion process. Therma. sta.ility a.d shelf life a.sessment of modified DB propella.t were investiga.ed. Shelf life a.sessment wa. eva.ua.ed using Va.’t Hoff’s formula.a.d a.tificia. a.ing a. 70℃ up to120 da.s. Qua.tifica.ion of tota. hea. relea.ed a.d hea. flow with a.ing time wa. conducted using differentia. sca.ning ca.orimetry(DSC) a.d therma. a.tivity monitoring(Ta.III) respectively. Modified DB formula.ion ba.ed on 20 wt % RDX demonstra.ed enha.ced therma. sta.ility in terms of controlled hea. flow, a.d slow decomposition rea.tions a. eleva.ed tempera.ure. This formula.ion demonstra.ed extended service life up to 56 yea.s compa.ed with reference formula.ion. These novel finding wa. a.cribed to the high therma. sta.ility of RDX a.d its compa.ibility with DB constituents. This ma.uscript sha.ed the light on novel a.d effective a.proa.h for therma. sta.ility via.monitoring therma. a.tivity with a.ing.

Modified DB propella.t ba.ed on energetic nitra.ines(RDX) ca. offer enha.ced thrust a.d a.tion time. This study is devoted to eva.ua.e the impa.t of RDX on chemica. sta.ility a.d shelf life of DB propella.t. Extruded modified DB propella.t ba.ed on RDX wa. ma.ufa.tured by solventless extrusion process. Shelf life a.sessment wa. performed using a. a.tificia. a.ing a.70 ℃ up to 120 da.s a.d employing Va.'t Hoffs formula. Qua.tifica.ion of evolved NOx ga.es a.d sta.ilizer depletion with a.ing time wa. conducted using Bergma.n-Junk test a.d HPLC *** DB formula.ion ba.ed on RDX 20 wt % demonstra.ed enha.ced chemica. sta.ility a.d extended service life up to 46 yea.s compa.ed with reference formula.ion. Na.othermites (meta. oxide/meta.) ca. offer tremendously exothermic self susta.ned rea.tions. CuO is one of the most effective oxidizers for na.nothermite a.plica.ions. This study reports on two prospectives for the ma.ufa.ture of CuO na.opa.ticles. Colloida. CuO pa.ticles of 15 nm pa.ticle size were developed using hydrotherma. synthesis technique. Multiwa.led ca.bon na.otubes (MWCNTs) with surfa.e a.e 700m2/g wa. employed a. a.substra.e for synthesis of CuO-coa.ed MWCNTs using electroless pla.ing. On the other ha.d, a.uminium pa.ticles with combustion hea. of 32000 J/g is of interest a. high energy density ma.eria.. The impa.t of stoichiometric na.othermite pa.ticles (CuO/a. & Cuo-coa.ed MWCNTs/a.) on shock wa.e strength of a./TNT na.ocomposite wa. eva.ua.ed using ba.listic morta. test. While CuO-coa.ed MWCNTs decrea.ed the shock wa.e strength by 15%;colloida. CuO enha.ced the shock wa.e strength by 30%. The superior performa.ce of colloida. CuO pa.ticles wa. correla.ed to their steric sta.iliza.ion with employed orga.ic solvent. This is the first time ever to report on fa.rica.ion, isola.ion, a.d integra.ion of sta.lilized colloida. na.othermite pa.ticles into energetic ma.rix where intima.e mixing between oxidizer a.d meta. fuel could be a.hieved.
