In computer vision,convolutional neural networks have a wide range of *** representmost of today’s data,so it’s important to know how to handle these large amounts of data *** neural networks have been shown to solve image processing problems ***,when designing the network structure for a particular problem,you need to adjust the hyperparameters for higher *** technique is time consuming and requires a lot of work and domain *** a convolutional neural network architecture is a classic NP-hard optimization *** the other hand,different datasets require different combinations of models or hyperparameters,which can be time consuming and *** approaches have been proposed to overcome this problem,such as grid search limited to low-dimensional space and queuing by random *** address this issue,we propose an evolutionary algorithm-based approach that dynamically enhances the structure of Convolution Neural Networks(CNNs)using optimized *** study proposes a method using Non-dominated sorted genetic algorithms(NSGA)to improve the hyperparameters of the CNN *** addition,different types and parameter ranges of existing genetic algorithms are *** study was conducted with various state-of-the-art methodologies and *** have shown that our proposed approach is superior to previous methods in terms of classification accuracy,and the results are published in modern computing literature.

Pure bitumen is not suitable for heavy traffic loads;hence modifiers are used to improve the bitumen ***,cup lump rubber(CLR)has become a preferred modifier due to its outstanding performance and less ***,little is known about the interactions between CLR and ***,this study investigates the behavior of bitumen with *** percentages of CLR(2.5%,5.0%,7.5%,and 10.0%by weight of bitumen)were used to modify conventional 60/70 penetration grade *** modified bitumen was evaluated through different laboratory testing such as dynamic shear rheometer,rotational viscosity,softening point,bending beam rheometer,ductility,and elastic *** testing results show that the addition of CLR increased the bitumen’s rutting resistance by 3 PG grades at high *** low pavement temperatures,the cup lump rubber modified bitumen(CMB)can withstand up to−34℃.Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR)analysis shows that the Aromaticity index at 1600 cm^(−1) rose as the CLR percentage increased,indicating the formation of a binder with a compact *** is expected to improve the elasticity of bitumen throughπ-π*** Force Microscopy(AFM)results showed the Catana phase increased in size and quantity at 5.0%and 7.5%CLR *** contact angle measurement revealed that the binders are hydrophobic and tend to repel the dropped water on the bitumen surface.

AIM:To study the association of apolipoprotein E(APOE) polymorphisms with the susceptibility ofinflammatory bowel disease(IBD) in Saudi ***:APOE genotyping was performed to evaluate the allele and genotype frequencies in 378 Saudi subjects including IBD patients with ulcerative colitis(n = 84) or Crohn's disease(n = 94) and matched controls(n = 200) using polymerase chain reaction and reverse-hybridization ***:The frequencies of the APOE ε2 allele and ε2/ε3 and ε2/ε4 genotypes were significantly higher in IBD patients than in controls(P < 0.05),suggesting that the ε2 allele and its heterozygous genotypes may increase the susceptibility to *** the contrary,the frequencies of the ε3 allele and ε3/ε3 genotype were lower in IBD patients as compared to controls,suggesting a protective effect of APOE ε3 for *** prevalence of the ε4 allele was also higher in the patient group compared to controls,suggesting that the ε4 allele may also increase the risk of *** results also indicated that the APOE ε4 allele was associated with an early age of IBD *** effect of gender or type of IBD(familial or sporadic) on the frequency distribution of APOE alleles and genotypes was noticed in this ***:APOE polymorphism is associated with risk of developing IBD and early age of onset in Saudi patients,though further studies with a large-size population are warranted.

Calibration of CO and CO₂ Monitors Used in Periodic Inspection of Vehicles at Fixed Stations for Environmental Control

Global efforts for environmental cleanliness through the control of gaseous emissions from vehicles are gaining momentum and attracting increasing attention. Calibration plays a crucial role in these efforts by ensuring the quantitative assessment of emissions for informed decisions on environmental treatments. This paper describes a method for the calibration of CO/CO2 monitors used for periodic inspections of vehicles in cites. The calibration was performed in the selected ranges: 900 - 12,000 µmol/mol for CO and 2000 - 20,000 µmol/mol for CO2. The traceability of the measurement results to the SI units was ensured by using certified reference materials from CO/N2 and CO2/N2 primary gas mixtures. The method performance was evaluated by assessing its linearity, accuracy, precision, bias, and uncertainty of the calibration results. The calibration data exhibited a strong linear trend with R² values close to 1, indicating an excellent fit between the measured values and the calibration lines. Precision, expressed as relative standard deviation (%RSD), ranged from 0.48 to 4.56% for CO and from 0.97 to 3.53% for CO2, staying well below the 5% threshold for reporting results at a 95% confidence level. Accuracy measured as percent recovery, was consistently high (≥ 99.1%) for CO and ranged from 84.90% to 101.54% across the calibration range for CO2. In addition, the method exhibited minimal bias for both CO and CO2 calibrations and thus provided a reliable and accurate approach for calibrating CO/CO2 monitors used in vehicle inspections. Thus, it ensures the effectiveness of exhaust emission control for better environment.
