Surface active ionic liquids (SAILs) are considered as prominent materials in enhanced oil recovery thanks to their high interfacial activity. This study reports the preparation and applications of a nanostructure Tripodal imidazolium SAIL as an environmentally-friendly substitute to the conventional surfactants. The product has a star-like molecular structure centered by a triazine spacer, namely [(C_(4)im)_(3)TA][Cl_(3)], prepared by a one-step synthesis method and characterized with FT-IR, NMR, XRD, and SEM analysis methods. The interfacial tension of the system was decreased to about 78% at critical micelle concentration of less than 0.08 mol·dm^(−3). Increasing temperature, from 298.2 to 323.2 K, improved this capability. The solid surface wettability was changed from oil-wet to water-wet and 80% and 77% stable emulsions of crude oil–aqueous solutions were created after one day and one week, respectively. Compared to the Gemini kind homologous SAILs, the superior effects of the Tripodal SAIL were revealed and attributed to the strong hydrophobic branches in the molecule. The Frumkin adsorption isotherm precisely reproduced the generated IFT data, and accordingly, the adsorption and thermodynamic parameters were determined.

This article studies the stability of a functionally graded clamped-clamped micro- plate subjected to hydrostatic and electrostatic pressures. Equilibrium positions of the micro-plate are determined and shown in the state control space. To study the stability of the equilibrium positions, the motion trajectories are given for different initial conditions in the phase plane. Effects of the electrostatic and hydrostatic pressure changes on the deflection and stability of the micro-plate for some sample value of k are studied and values of the applied voltage and hydrostatic pressure leading system to unstable conditions by undergoing a saddle node and homoclinic bifurcations are determined.

The Late Cretaceous Khabr-Marvast tectonized ophiolite is located in the middle part of the Nain-Baft ophiolite belt, at the south-western edge of the central Iranian microcontinent. Although all the volcanic rocks in the study area indicate subduction-related magmatism （e.g. high LILE （large ion lithophile elements） / HFSE （high field strenght elements） ratios and negative anomalies in Nb and Ta）, geological and geochemical data clearly distinguish two distinct groups of volcanic rocks in the tectonized association：（1） group 1 is comprised of hyaloclastic breccias, basaltic pillow lavas, and andesite sheet flows. These rocks represent the Nain-Baft oceanic crust; and （2） group 2 is alkaline lavas from the top section of the ophiolite suite. These lavas show shoshonite affinity, but do not support the propensity of ophiolite.

This article presents a connection between fuzzy preordered structures and hyperstructures. Firstly, we introduce the notion of fuzzy preordered semigroup and then, we construct a semihypergroup associated with it, giving some properties of the associated hyperstructure. Secondly, we define the notion of fuzzy preordered ring in order to construct a fuzzy hyperring.

Global climate change poses a new challenge for species and can even push some species toward an extinction vortex. The most affected organisms are those with narrow tolerance to the climatic factors but many large mammals such as ungulates with a wider ecological niche are also being affected indirectly. Our research mainly used wild sheep in central Iran as a model species to explore how the suitable habitats will change under different climatic scenarios and to determine if current borders of protected areas will adequately protect habitat requirements. To create habitat models we used animal-vehicle collision points as an input for species presence data. We ran habitat models using Max Ent modeling approach under different climatic scenarios of the past, present and future(under the climatic scenarios for minimum(RCP2.6) and maximum(RCP8.5) CO2 concentration trajectories). We tried to estimate the overlap and the width of the ecological niche using relevant metrics. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the protected areas, suitable maps were concerted to binary maps using True Skill Statistic(TSS) threshold and measured the similarity of the binary maps for each scenario using Kappa index. In order to assess the competence of the present protected areas boundary in covering the distribution of species, two different scenarios were employed, which are ensemble scenario 1: an ensemble of the binary maps of the species distribution in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP2.6;and ensemble scenario 2: an ensemble of binary suitability maps in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP8.5. Then, the borders of modeled habitats with the boundaries of 23 existing protected areas in two central provinces in Iran were compared. The predicted species distribution under scenario 1(RCP2.6) was mostly similar to its current distribution(Kappa = 0.53) while the output model under scenario 2(RCP8.5) indicated a decline in the species distribution range. The discrete element method(DEM)is widely used in the realistic simulation of the shapes of *** have considered the simplification of particle shapes owing to the high computational cost of such *** this regard,the modeling of calibrated particles is a major challenge owing to the simultaneous effects of particle *** angle-of-repose test is a standard test method used to calibrate the bulk behavior of simulated *** the present study,the hollow-cylinder(slump)test was modeled for the verification of discrete element *** this regard,a sensitivity analysis was conducted for all effective parameters,namely the static friction,rolling friction,restitution coefficient,sphericity,roundness,particle size distribution,and number of ballast *** results indicate that the rolling friction,roundness,number of particles,and size of particles are the most important parameters in the determination of the angle of repose(AOR).For particles in the range of ballast(20-60 mm),the effect of the number of particles on the angle of repose is reduced when the number is greater than ***,it is concluded that angular particles can be replaced with sub-angular particles(R≈0.2-0.45)with a higher rolling friction coefficient(μ_(r)>0.14).

The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of oxygenate additives into gasoline for the improvement of physicochemical properties of *** Tertiary Butyl Ether（MTBE）,Methanol,Tertiary butyl alcohol（TBA）,and Tertiary amyl alcohol（TAA） blend into unleaded gasoline with various blended rates of 2.5%,5%,7.5%,10%,15%,and 20%.Physicochemical properties of blends are analyzed by the standard American Society of Testing and Materials（ASTM） ***,TBA,and TAA increase density of the mixtures,but MTBE decreases *** addition of oxygenates lead to a distortion of the base gasoline＇s distillation *** Reid vapor pressure（RVP） of gasoline is found to increase with the addition of the oxygenated *** oxygenates improve both motor and research octane *** these four additives,TBA shows the best fuel properties.

Video conferencing applications help people communicate via the Internet and provide a significant and consistent basis for virtual ***,integrity,security,identification,and authentication problems are still *** video conference technologies typically rely on cloud systems to provide a stable and secure basis for executing tasks and *** the same time,video conferencing applications are being migrated from centralized to decentralized solutions for better performance without the need for third-party *** article demonstrates a decentralized smart identification scheme for video conferencing applications based on biometric technology,machine learning,and a decentralized hash table combined with blockchain *** store users'information on a distributed hash table and transactional events on the distributed ledger after identifying users by implementing machine learning ***,we leverage distributed ledger technology's immutability and traceability properties and distributed hash table unlimited storage feature to improve the system's storage capacity and immutability by evaluating three possible *** experimental results show that an architecture based on blockchain and distributed hash table has better efficiency but needs a longer time to execute than the two other architectures using a centralized database.
