This work aims at investigating the strain effect,created by varying pH solution and continuous heating cycle,on the cation exchange process in the case of Na-rich montmorillonite sample in contact with bi-ionic solution with variable concentration,saturated respectively by Co2+ and Cu2+ *** ionic exchange process is characterized using XRD analysis obtained through the comparison of experimental XRD patterns with calculated ones,which allowed us to determine several structural parameters related to the nature,abundance,size,position and organization of exchangeable cation and water molecule in the interlamellar space along the ***,the proposed theoretical models,for the stressed samples,show that the structure presents an interstratified hydration character and proves the coexistence of more than two ''crystallite'' specie in the *** perturbation types have an obvious effect on the selective exchange process for all stressed samples,where the interlayer space is characterized by the coexistence of more one exchangeable cation.

With the growing number of Web services on the internet,there is a challenge to select the best Web service which can offer more quality-of-service(QoS)values at the lowest *** challenge is the uncertainty of QoS values over time due to the unpredictable nature of the *** this paper,we modify the interval data envelopment analysis(DEA)models[Wang,Greatbanks and Yang(2005)]for QoS-aware Web service selection considering the uncertainty of QoS attributes in the presence of desirable and undesirable *** conduct a set of experiments using a synthesized dataset to show the capabilities of the proposed *** experimental results show that the correlation between the proposed models and the interval DEA models is ***,the proposed models provide almost robust results and represent more stable behavior than the interval DEA models against QoS ***,we demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed models for QoS-aware Web service *** results indicate that the proposed models significantly improve the fitness of the resultant compositions when they filter out unsatisfactory candidate services for each abstract service in the preprocessing *** models help users to select the best possible cloud service considering the dynamic internet environment and they help service providers to improve their Web services in the market.

To meet the escalating electricity demand and rising fuel costs,along with notable losses in power transmission,exploring alternative solutions is *** turbines demonstrate high efficiency under ideal International Organization for Standardization(ISO)conditions but face challenges during summer when ambient temperatures reach 40℃.To enhance performance,the proposal suggests cooling inlet air by 15℃using a vapor absorption chiller(VAC),utilizing residual exhaust gases from a combined cycle power plant(CCPP)to maximize power ***,diverting a portion of exhaust gases to drive an organic Rankine cycle(ORC)for supplementary power generation offers added *** integrated approach not only boosts power output but alsominimizes environmental impact by repurposing exhaust gases for additional *** study presents a detailed energy and economic analysis of a modified combine cycle power plant,in kotri,Pakistan.R600A is used as organic fuel for the ORC while LiBr-H2O solution is used for the *** performance parameters,efficiency and energy utilization factor,Four energetic parameters,Work output of ORC,modified CCPP,original CCPP and cooling rate,and one economics parameter,payback period were examined under varying ambient conditions and mass fraction of exhaust gases from outlet of a gas turbine(ψ).A parametric investigation was conducted within the temperature range of 18℃to 50℃,relative humidity between 70%and 90%,and theψranging from 0 to *** findings reveal that under elevated ambient conditions(40℃,90%humidity)withψat 0,the Energy Utilization Factor(EUF)exceeds 60%.However,the ORC exhibits a low work output of 100kWalongside a high cooling load of 29,000 ***,the modified system demonstrates an augmented work output of approximately 81,850 kWcompared to the original system’s 78,***,the integration of this systemproves advantageous across all ***,the payback period of the system

Recent advancements of the intelligent transportation system(ITS)provide an effective way of improving the overall efficiency of the energy management strategy(EMSs)for autonomous vehicles(AVs).The use of AVs possesses many advantages such as congestion control,accident prevention,and ***,energy management and traffic flow prediction(TFP)still remains a challenging problem in *** complexity and uncertainties of driving situations adequately affect the outcome of the designed *** this view,this paper presents novel sustainable energy management with traffic flow prediction strategy(SEM-TPS)for *** SEM-TPS technique applies type II fuzzy logic system(T2FLS)energy management scheme to accomplish the desired engine torque based on distinct *** addition,the membership functions of the T2FLS scheme are chosen optimally using the barnacles mating optimizer(BMO).For accurate TFP,the bidirectional gated recurrent neural network(Bi-GRNN)model is used in AVs.A comprehensive experimental validation process is performed and the results are inspected with respect to several evaluation *** experimental outcomes highlighted the supreme performance of the SEM-TPS technique over the recent state of art approaches.

A distributed generation network could be a hybrid power system that includes wind-diesel power generation based on induction generators(IGs)and synchronous generators(SGs).The main advantage of these systems is the possibility of using renewable energy in their *** most important challenge is to design the voltage-control loop with the frequency-control loop to obtain optimal responses for voltage and frequency *** this work,the voltage-control loop is designed by an automatic voltage regulator.A linear model of the hybrid system has also been developed with coordinated voltage and frequency *** frequency response and voltage deviations are compared for different load disturbances and different reactive *** gains of the SG and the static volt-ampere reactive compensator(SVC)controllers in the IG terminal are calculated using the Black Widow Optimization(BWO)algorithm to insure low frequency and voltage *** BWO optimization algorithm is one of the newest and most powerful optimization methods to have been introduced so *** results showed that the BWO algorithm has a good speed in solving the proposed objective function.A 22%improvement in time adjustment was observed in the use of an optimal ***,an 18%improvement was observed in the transitory values.
