As an environmental risk factor, psychological stress may trigger the onset or accelerate the progression of Parkinson＇s disease （PD）. Here, we evaluated the effects of acute restraint stress on striatal dopaminergic terminals and the brain metabolism of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahy- dropyridine （MPTP）, which has been widely used for creating a mouse model of PD. Exposure to 2 h of restraint stress immediately after injection of a low dose of MPTP caused a severe loss of striatal dopaminergic terminals as indicated by decreases in the dopamine transporter protein and dopamine levels compared with MPTP administration alone. Both striatal 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium ion （MPP＋） and MPTP concentrations were significantly increased by the application of restraint stress. Striatal monoamine oxidase-B, which catalyzes the oxidation of MPTP to MPP＋, was not changed by the restraint stress. Our results indicate that the enhanced striatal dopaminergic terminal loss in the stressed mice is associated with an increase in the transport of neurotoxin into the brain.

This study investigates the effects of addition of oxygen on the oxidative dehydrogenation （ODH） of methanol when a fluorotetrasilicic mica ion-exchanged with palladium （Pd2^＋-TSM） was used as the catalyst. The reaction proceeded at a very low temperature in the presence of oxygen, and HCOOCH3 was obtained at high selectivity. By calculating the equilibrium conversion, it has been shown that substantial ODH took place for HCOOCH3 production. Consequently, this reaction would make dehydrogenation the dominant reaction at equilibrium. Not all the H dissociated from CH3OH was converted to H20 by oxidation. It has been shown that the H2O was not produced from oxidative dehydrogenation by the direct reaction of CH3OH and O2 when an attempt was made to carry out oxidative dehydrogenation using an isotope oxygen trace method in the gas phase. Therefore, when CHaOH was converted to CO2 and dehydrogenated to HCOOCH3, the C-O bonds were not dissociated.

To investigate how the popular magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet(aluminum 3%,zinc 1%)behaves in cold working,deep drawing experiments at room temperature,along with finite element(FE)simulation,were performed on the cold forming sheet of the AZ31 alloy after being annealed under various *** activities were focused on the fracture pattern,limit drawing ratio(LDR),deformation load,thickness distribution,anisotropic effect,as well as the influences of the annealing conditions and tool configuration on *** results display that punch shoulder radius instead of die clearance,has much influence on the thickness *** anisotropy is remarkable in cold working,which adversely impacts the *** fracture often happens on the side wall at an angle to axis of the deformed *** results also imply that the LDR for the material under present experimental conditions is 1.72,and annealing the material at 450 ℃ for 1 h may be preferable for the cold deep drawing.

Third generation of quinolones,such as levofloxacin and moxifloxacin,-containing regimens are often used in second-line or rescue treatment of Helicobacter pylori ***,the increasing antibiotic resistance to quinolones affects the efficacies of quinolones-containing therapies in recent ***,there is a need to enhance the effectiveness of quinolonescontaining ***,a fourth-generation quinolone,and vonoprazan,a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker,are now available as more effective treatment *** aim of this paper is to summarize the current evidence of quinolone-containing therapies in rescue treatments,and to discuss the importance of drug sensitivity tests or analysis of gyrA mutation before treatments.

Role-Based Access Control(RBAC)policies are at the core of Cybersecurity as they ease the enforcement of basic security principles,e.g.,Least Privilege and Separation of *** ICT systems and business processes evolve,RBAC policies have to be updated to prevent unauthorised access to resources by capturing errors and misalignments between the current policy and ***,such update process is a human-intensive activity and it is expected to meet specific *** paper proposes a semi-automatic RBAC maintenance process to fix and refine an RBAC state when“exceptions”and“violations”are *** are permissions some users realise they miss that are instrumental to their job and should be granted as soon as possible,while violations are permissions that have to be revoked since they are no longer required by their current *** propose a formalisation for the maintenance process which fixes single and multiple exceptions and violations by balancing two conflicting objectives,i.e.,(i)optimising the current RBAC state,and(ii)reducing the transition *** approach is based on a Max-SAT formalisation of the constraint-based optimisation problem,and on PDDL planning to define the transition strategy with minimum *** implementation relies on incomplete Max-SAT solvers and satisficing PDDL planners which provide approximations of optimal *** along with a comparative evaluation show good performance on real-world benchmarks.

Accompanying the increased use of biological and non-biological antirheumatic drugs,a greater number of cases of hepatitis B virus(HBV) reactivation have been reported in inactive hepatitis B surface antigen(HBs Ag) carriers and also in HBs Ag-negative patients who have resolved HBV infection. The prevalence of resolved infection varies in rheumatic disease patients,ranging from 7.3% to 66%. Through an electronic search of the Pub Med database,we found that among 712 patients with resolved infection in 17 observational cohort studies,12 experienced HBV reactivation(1.7%) during biological antirheumatic therapy. Reactivation rates were 2.4% for etanercept therapy,0.6% for adalimumab,0% for infliximab,8.6% for tocilizumab,and 3.3% for rituximab. Regarding non-biological antirheumatic drugs,HBV reactivation was observed in 10 out of 327 patients with resolved infection from five cohort studies(3.2%). Most of these patients received steroids concomitantly. Outcomes were favorable in rheumatic disease patients. A number of recommendations have been established,but most of the supporting evidence was derived from the oncology and transplantation fields. Compared with patients in these fields,rheumatic disease patients continue treatment with multiple immunosuppressants for longer periods. Optimal frequency and duration of HBV-DNA monitoring and reliable markers for discontinuation of nucleoside analogues should be clarified for rheumatic disease patients with resolved HBV infection.

AIM: To investigate and elucidate the molecular mechanism that regulates inducible expression of CD69 by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori ) infection. METHODS: The expression levels of CD69 in a T-cell line, Jurkat, primary human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), and CD4 + T cells, were assessed by immunohistochemistry, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, and flow cytometry. Activation of CD69 promoter was detected by reporter gene. Nuclear factor (NF)-κB activation in Jurkat cells infected with H. pylori was evaluated by electrophoretic mobility shift assay. The role of NF-κB signaling in H. pylori-induced CD69 expression was analyzed using inhibitors of NF-κB and dominant-negative mutants. The isogenic mutants with disrupted cag pathogenicity island (cag PAI) and virD4 were used to elucidate the role of cag PAI-encoding type Ⅳ secretion system and CagA in CD69 ***: CD69 staining was detected in mucosal lymphocytes and macrophages in specimens of pa- tients with H. pylori-positive gastritis. Although cag PAI- positive H. pylori and an isogenic mutant of virD4 induced CD69 expression, an isogenic mutant of cag-PAI failed to induce this in Jurkat cells. H. pylori also induced CD69 expression in PBMCs and CD4 + T cells. The activation of the CD69 promoter by H. pylori was mediated through NF-κB. Transfection of dominant-negative mutants of IκBs, IκB kinases, and NF-κB-inducing kinase inhibited H. pylori-induced CD69 activation. Inhibitors of NF-κB suppressed H. pylori-induced CD69 mRNA expression. CONCLUSION: The results suggest that H. pylori induces CD69 expression through the activation of NF-κB. cagPAI might be relevant in the induction of CD69 expression in T cells. CD69 in T cells may play a role in H. pylori-induced gastritis.
