The conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid was carried out by the one-pot process *** catalyst used in this conversion is Cu-modified HY zeolite synthesized using pro-analytical precursors and alternative precursors from natural resources i.e.,Indonesian natural zeolite and *** crystal structure and physicochemical properties of catalysts were determined by various characterization techniques such as XRD,FTIR,SeM-eDX,TeM,SAA,and TPD-NH_(3).Based on XRD analysis,it shows that HY and CuHY,both from synthetic and alternative precursors,are confirmed to have typical peaks of Y *** mapping images show a uniform distribution of Cu on the HY *** addition,the TeM analysis also shows uniform particle size *** results of catalytic glycerol conversion show that Cu-modified HY catalysts give a higher acrylic acid yield than *** results also show that the highest yield of acrylic acid was obtained in 27.5%and 25.8%at a dehydration time of 3 h using pro-analytical and natural resources CuHY catalyst,*** Cu-modified HY catalysts having weak acid sites show the best catalytic activity in the conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid.

Under optimal process conditions,pyrolysis of polyolefins can yield ca.90 wt%of liquid product,i.e.,combination of light oil fraction and heavier *** this work,the experimental findings reported in a selected group of publications concerning the non-catalytic pyrolysis of polyolefins were collected,reviewed,and compared with the ones obtained in a continuously operated bench-scale pyrolysis *** process parameters were used for the pyrolysis of waste and virgin counterparts of high-density polyethylene,low-density polyethylene,polypropylene and a defined mixture of those(i.e.,25:25:50 wt%,respectively).To mitigate temperature drops and enhance heat transfer,an increased feed intake is employed to create a hot melt plastic *** 1.5 g·min^(-1) feed intake,1.1 L·min^(-1) nitrogen flow rate,and a moderate pyrolysis temperature of 450℃,the formation of light hydrocarbons was favored,while wax formation was limited for polypropylene-rich *** of virgin plastics yielded more liquid(maximum 73.3 wt%)than that of waste plastics(maximum 66 wt%).Blending polyethylenes with polypropylene favored the production of liquids and increased the formation of gasoline-range *** products were mainly composed of C3 hydrocarbons,and no hydrogen production was detected due to moderate pyrolysis temperature.

Pharmaceutical residues, mainly antibiotics, have been called "emerging contaminants" in the environment because of their increasing frequency of detection in aquatic and terrestrial systems and their sublethal ecological effects. Most of them are undiscovered. Both human and veterinary pharmaceuticals, including antibiotics, are introduced into the environment via many different routes, including discharges from municipal wastewater treatment plants and land application of animal manure and biosolids to fertilize croplands. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the widespread problem of antibiotic resistance, modem and scientific approaches have been developed to gain knowledge of the entire antibiotic-resistant microbiota of various ecosystems, which is called the resistome. In this review, two omics methods, i.e. culturomics, a new approach, and metagenomics, used to study antibiotic resistance in environmental samples, are described. Moreover, we discuss how both omics methods have become core scientific tools to characterize microbiomes or resistomes, study natural communities and discover new microbes and new antibiotic resistance genes from environments. The combination of the method for get better outcome of both culturomics and metagenomics will significantly advance our understanding of the role of microbes and their specific properties in the environment.

eu（Ⅲ） complexes with chosen Keggin polyoxomatalates, POM, containing organic counter cations （tetrabutylarnmonium, tetrabutylphosphonium, triphenylethylphosphonium）, were synthesized, and their photophysical properties were studied. The synthesized complexes had the general formula of XnH5-n[euSiW11O39], formulated based on the results of elemental and thermogravimetric analysis and FTIR spectroscopy. The photophysical properties of the obtained compounds were investigated using photoluminescence and electrochemiluminescence, eCL, methods in solutions and solids. The most intense luminescence of eu（Ⅲ） was observed for the complexes with tetrabutylarnmonium cations. After the addition of phenanthroline to the XnH5-n[euSiW11O39] solutions, a large increase in the eu（Ⅲ） luminescence intensity and a lengthening of its luminescence lifetime were observed as a result of the formation of ternary complexes. Attempts to apply eCL as a method of light emission by generating species capable of forming excited states in Ln/POMs, i.e., Tb（Ⅲ） and eu（Ⅲ） in the Na9euW10O36 and Na9TbW10O36 complexes, were made. The influence of the POM complexes on the eCL was also tested using the Tb/eDDHA （eDDA=ethylenediamine di（o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid）） complex, which is effective in generating eCL.

Corrosion Resistance of AZ91 Magnesium Alloy after Laser Remelting Treatment

The main objective of the study was the modification of the surface layer of magnesium alloy by the COlaser. The studied material was the commercial AZ91 magnesium alloy. The effectiveness of the alternations caused by the remelting process was verified on the basis of microscopic observation and corrosion investigations, i e, recording of potentiodynamic polarization curves, electrochemical noise measurements and hydrogen evolution rate measurements. For the adopted range of the treatment parameters, favourable changes were observed in the surface layer such as the refinement of structure and more uniform arrangement of individual phases. As a consequence of those favourable structural changes the improvement of the corrosion resistance of the alloy was achieved in comparison to its non-remelted equivalent. For the treated material corrosion rates expressed as corrosion current densities were at least three times lower than the appropriate values for the untreated alloy comparing them for the same period of samples immersion in the test solution. The obtained results have confirmed the effectiveness of the applied surface treatment resulting in favourable changes in the structure and corrosion properties of the AZ91 magnesium alloy.

As the field of assisted reproduction has advanced, many previously untreatable men are now biological fathers. Although finding sperm in men with obstructive azoospermia is not difficult, locating and retrieving spermatozoa in men with non-obstructive azoospermia remains a clinical challenge, largely because sperm production in these men can be patchy or focal in nature. In response to this challenge, strategies such as fine-needle aspiration （FNA） mapping have been developed to find spermatozoa. This review discusses the history, evolution and current clinical utility and findings with FNA mapping for male infertility）. Review of the current literature in the english language on FNA （diagnostic or therapeutic） with a keyword focuses on sperm detection, retrieval, safety and complications. FNA was described in human medicine over 100 years ago. Testis FNA was described 45 years ago and FNA ＇mapping＇ of spermatozoa was described in 1997. This comparative review of the literature on sperm detection and complication rates with FNA and open testis biopsy or microdissection procedures suggests that FNA is highly informative, minimally invasive and is associated with fewer complications than other commonly used approaches to sperm detection in non-obstructive azoospermic patients. FNA mapping has gained considerable traction as an informative, ＇testis sparing＇ technique for sperm detection in non-obstructive azoospermia. With knowledge of sperm presence and location prior to sperm retrieval, FNA maps can help clinicians tailor sperm retrieval to optimize time, effort and extent of procedures needed to procure spermatozoa in these difficult cases.
