This research paper defines the theoretical foundations and computational implementation of a non-conventional modeling and simulation methodology,inspired by the needs of problem solving for biological,agricultural,aquacultural and environmental *** challenging practical problem is to develop a framework for automatic generation of causally right and balance-based,unified models that can also be applied for the effective coupling amongst the various(sophisticated field-specific,sensor data processing-based,upper level optimization-driven,etc.)*** scientific problem addressed in this innovation is to develop Programmable Process Structures(PPS)by combining functional basis of systems theory,structural approach of net theory and computational principles of agent based *** offers a novel framework for the automatic generation of easily extensible and connectible,unified models for the underlying complex *** models can be generated from one state and one transition meta-prototypes and from the transition oriented description of process *** models consist of unified state and transition *** local program containing prototype elements,derived also from the meta-prototypes,are responsible for the case-specific *** integrity and consistency of PPS architecture are based on the meta-prototypes,prepared to distinguish between the conservation-laws-based measures and the *** simulation is based on data flows amongst the state and transition elements,as well as on the unification based data transfer between these elements and their calculating *** architecture and its AI language-based(Prolog)implementation support the integration of various field-and task-specific models,*** better understanding is helped by a simple *** capabilities of the recently consolidated general methodology are discussed on the basis of some preliminary applications,focusing on the recently studied

Fxcessive forest exploitation significantly contributes to land degradation and the creation of human-made *** are sometimes ignored in studies on the biodiversity of coarse woody *** investigated whether the type of stump,*** stumps(naturally created)and cut stumps(formed during forestry operations)had an impact on the species composition and species diversity as well as due to this fact they can be characterized by plant *** research covered 728 spruce stumps(287 broken and 441 cut stumps)that were inhabited by lichens,liverworts,mosses and vascular plants in mountain forest belt(Karkonosze Mts.,Poland).The following types of microhabitats were included in the research:the upper surface and the lateral surface of a stump with both bark and *** are statistically significant compositional differences between the two types of stumps,which was demonstrated by ordination analyses and indicator species *** to the generalized linear models,the probability of occurrence increases in cut stumps in case of liverworts and vascular plants and also along the decomposition *** generalized linear mixed-effects model showed that there was a higher species richness of liverworts,mosses and vascular plants on the cut stumps and less drier but the reverse situation was in *** generalized additive models for their cover showed similar *** all of the taxonomic groups were affected by altitude both in terms of species composition and total cover on the *** concluded that cut stumps are an important type of deadwood for biodiversity and provide a convenient habitat,especially for many lichens and bryophytes.

The conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid was carried out by the one-pot process *** catalyst used in this conversion is Cu-modified HY zeolite synthesized using pro-analytical precursors and alternative precursors from natural resources i.e.,Indonesian natural zeolite and *** crystal structure and physicochemical properties of catalysts were determined by various characterization techniques such as XRD,FTIR,SEM-EDX,TEM,SAA,and TPD-NH_(3).Based on XRD analysis,it shows that HY and CuHY,both from synthetic and alternative precursors,are confirmed to have typical peaks of Y *** mapping images show a uniform distribution of Cu on the HY *** addition,the TEM analysis also shows uniform particle size *** results of catalytic glycerol conversion show that Cu-modified HY catalysts give a higher acrylic acid yield than *** results also show that the highest yield of acrylic acid was obtained in 27.5%and 25.8%at a dehydration time of 3 h using pro-analytical and natural resources CuHY catalyst,*** Cu-modified HY catalysts having weak acid sites show the best catalytic activity in the conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid.

Under optimal process conditions,pyrolysis of polyolefins can yield ca.90 wt%of liquid product,i.e.,combination of light oil fraction and heavier *** this work,the experimental findings reported in a selected group of publications concerning the non-catalytic pyrolysis of polyolefins were collected,reviewed,and compared with the ones obtained in a continuously operated bench-scale pyrolysis *** process parameters were used for the pyrolysis of waste and virgin counterparts of high-density polyethylene,low-density polyethylene,polypropylene and a defined mixture of those(i.e.,25:25:50 wt%,respectively).To mitigate temperature drops and enhance heat transfer,an increased feed intake is employed to create a hot melt plastic *** 1.5 g·min^(-1) feed intake,1.1 L·min^(-1) nitrogen flow rate,and a moderate pyrolysis temperature of 450℃,the formation of light hydrocarbons was favored,while wax formation was limited for polypropylene-rich *** of virgin plastics yielded more liquid(maximum 73.3 wt%)than that of waste plastics(maximum 66 wt%).Blending polyethylenes with polypropylene favored the production of liquids and increased the formation of gasoline-range *** products were mainly composed of C3 hydrocarbons,and no hydrogen production was detected due to moderate pyrolysis temperature.

Research on bivalves is fast-growing,including genome-wide analyses and genome *** characteristics qualify oysters as a valuable model to explore repetitive DNA sequences and their genome *** we char-acterize the satellitomes of five species in the family Ostreidae(Crassostrea angulata,***,***,***,Ostrea edulis),revealing a substantial number of satellite DNAs(satDNAs)per genome(ranging between 33 and 61)and peculiarities in the composition of their *** satDNAs were either associated to or derived from transposable elements,displaying a scarcity of transposable element-unrelated satDNAs in these *** to the non-conventional satellitome constitution and dominance of Helitron-associated satDNAs,comparative satellitomics demanded more in-depth analyses than standardly *** analyses(including ***,the first bivalve species with a defined satellitome)revealed that 13 satDNAs occur in all six oyster genomes,with Cg170/HindIII satDNA being the most abundant in all of *** the“satDNA library model”highlighted the necessity to adjust this term when studying tandem repeat evolution in organisms with such *** repetitive sequences with potential variation in the organizational form and repeat-type affiliation are examined across related species,the introduction of the terms“TE library”and“repetitive DNA library”becomes essential.

Despite all efforts,long-term changes in the adult sex ratios of breeding duck populations are still unclear;this uncertainty is especially true for male-bias populations,which are often under the scrutiny of researchers lacking convenient results for the active protection of endangered *** with male-bias populations are usually strongly affected by a decline in population size that leads to a higher extinction *** this study,we examined our long-term data of the abundance of breeding populations in six duck species(Mallard Anas platyrhynchos,Gadwall Mareca strepera,Red-crested Pochard Netta rufina,Common Pochard Aythya ferina,Tufted Duck Aythya fuligula,and Common Goldeneye Bucephala clangula)from fishponds in South Bohemia,Czechia,between 2004 and *** evidence was used to assess long-term changes in the adult sex ratio in these breeding populations and investigate the possible effects of the NAO index(North Atlantic Oscillation index)on them,indicating climate conditions in *** determined a long-term decrease of the proportion of females in the breeding season in two of the six examined species:Common Pochard and Red-crested Pochard,which is driven by the long-term increase in the number of males in contrast to the decreasing or stable number of females likely caused by different migration behaviours between females and *** the case of Common Pochard,in breeding populations,we estimated 60-65%of males in the early 2000s rising to 75-80%in the early ***,we establish no significant effects linked to climate conditions of the previous winter in these species as a crucial cause of the changes of the proportion of females in the breeding population.
