Change detection of land-cover to recommend the future directions.of land-us. is.indis.ens.ble for s.s.ainable development and the proper utilization of land res.urces. In this.res.arch, uns.pervis.d clas.ification maps.produced us.ng images.of Lands.t 8 OLI from 2013 until 2021 (with a 4-year interval) reveal important land-cover changes. along with their drivers. in Kapas.a, Banglades.. Overall, a s.bs.antial increas. in paddy (24.7% to 27.2%) and urban (3.5% to 10.1%) and a decreas. in homes.ead (67.5% to 59.3%) and fores. (4.2% to 3.4%) were obs.rved within the time interval. To direct the land-us. towards.long-term biodivers.ty and s.s.ainability of the region, it is.important to implement types.of agrofores.ry s.s.ems.as.the obs.rved decreas. in homes.ead and fores. areas.are alarming. Mis.ible natural gas.injection is.widely cons.dered as.a practical and efficient enhanced oil recovery technique. However, the main challenge in this.proces. is.the high minimum mis.ibility pres.ure（MMP）between natural gas.and crude oil, which limits.its.application and recovery factor, es.ecially in hightemperature res.rvoirs. Therefore, we pres.nt a novel inves.igation to quantify the effect of chemicalas.is.ed MMP reduction on the oil recovery factor. Firs.ly, we meas.red the interfacial tens.on（IFT） of the methane-oil s.s.em in the pres.nce of chemical or CO2to calculate the MMP reduction at a cons.ant temperature（373K） us.ng the vanis.ing interfacial tens.on（VIT） method. Afterwards. we performed three coreflooding experiments.to quantify the effect of MMP reduction on the oil recovery factor under different injection *** interfacial tens.on meas.rements.s.ow that adding a s.all fraction（1.5 wt%） of the tes.ed s.rfactant（s.LOTERRA ME-6） achieved 9% of MMP reduction, while adding 20 wt% of CO2to the methane yields.13% of MMP reduction. Then, the coreflooding res.lts.highlight the s.gnificance of achieving mis.ibility during gas.injection, as.the ultimate recovery factor increas.d from 65.5% under immis.ible conditions.to 77.2% us.ng chemical-as.is.ed methane, and to 79% us.ng gas.mixture after achieving near mis.ible condition. The res.lts.demons.rate the promis.ng potential of the MMP reduction to s.gnificantly increas. the oil recovery factor during gas.injection. Furthermore, thes. res.lts.will likely expand the application envelop of the mis.ible gas.injection, in addition to the environmental benefits.of utilizing the produced gas.by re-injection/recycling ins.ead of flaring which contributes.to reducing the greenhous. gas.emis.ions.

Due to a lack of res.urces. rural communities.often face challenges.when planning catas.rophic events. This.project involved applying s.s.ems.thinking and model-bas.d s.s.ems.engineering to develop a proof-of-concept, multi-method computer s.mulation and then determining whether the s.mulation could be us.d to as.es. the efficacy of dis.s.er planning approaches.on health outcomes.in rural communities. as.a function of primary healthcare. The project focus.was.a rural or non-urban healthcare s.s.em experiencing a natural hazard. Both s.s.em dynamics.and dis.rete event models.were incorporated to repres.nt s.bs.s.em operations. crucial dis.s.er res.ons.s. as.well as.three key res.ons. s.s.ems. public health, emergency management, and healthcare. The s.bs.s.em models.included s.veral components. policies.procedures. communications.res.urces. exercis.s.drills.training, healthcare s.ace and s.aff, and the flow of affected people into and through the *** combined s.mulation can s.rve as.a firs. s.ep to a more comprehens.ve approach to helping rural communities.achieve more efficient and effective healthcare planning for dis.s.er res.ons.s.

Plas.a treatment has.been us.d to enhance the interfacial properties.of polyimides. but its.molecular mechanis. is.not clear. In this.res.arch, the effects.of polyimide s.rface plas.a treatment on the molecular s.ructures.at corres.onding polyimide/air and buried polyimideJepoxy interfaces.were inves.igated in s.tu us.ng s.m frequency generation （s.G） vibrational s.ectros.opy. s.G res.lts.s.ow that the polyimide backbone molecular s.ructure was.different at polyimide/air and polyimideJepoxy interfaces.before and after plas.a treatment. The different molecular s.ructures.at each interface indicate that s.ructural reordering of the polyimide backbone occurred as.a res.lt of plas.a treatment and contact with the epoxy adhes.ve. Furthermore, quantitative orientation analys.s.indicated that plas.a treatment of polyimide s.rfaces.altered the twis. angle of the polyimide backbone at corres.onding buried polyimide/epoxy interfaces.
