Objective:To evaluate an endoscopic approach in the management of glomus tumor,and also to investigate and evaluate its appropriateness and ***:Glomus tumors,also known as paragangliomas,are benign primary tumors of the middle *** advent of endoscopic ear surgery has provided new dimensions to the management of this highly vascular *** analysis of six patients of glomus tympanicum,operated between July 2014 and June 2019,with modified Fisch classification Type A and B1,who were managed by a retroauricular transcanal endoscopic *** and postoperative analysis was done for these ***:The chief complaint was pulsatile tinnitus,which disappeared in five cases and reduced in severity in one of *** was improved with reduction in air‐bone gap in all the *** major complications or recurrence were observed in any of the patients after 12 months of follow‐***:This endoscopic approach serves as a safe and reliable technique for tumor *** thus provides postoperative comfort for most of the patients.

The present paper studies the contact problem of an inflated toroidal nonlinear anisotropic hyperelastic membrane laterally pressed between two flat rigid *** material is assumed to be homogeneous,and an anisotropic term is included in the incompressible Mooney–Rivlin hyperelastic ***,two annular-shaped flat membranes,bonded at both equators,are considered in an undeformed state,which results in a toroidal geometry upon uniform internal *** contact problem of the inflated torus laterally pressed between two flat parallel plates is *** different contact conditions,namely frictionless contact and no-slip contact,are considered within the contact *** enclosed amount of gas within the inflated membrane is considered to be constant during the solution of the contact problem,which is solved in a quasi-static *** the case of no-slip contact,the stretch locking has been observed,and the frictionless contact causes the free flow of material *** membrane’s stiffness increases with increasing anisotropic,material,and geometric parameters depicted in the force versus displacement curve under contact conditions.

Seasonal polyphenism is a common phenomenon observed among members of the Lepidopteran subfamily Satyrinae. Melanitis leda, being a member of that subfamily, exhibits seasonal variation in terms of wing patterning. In butterflies, wing patterning is due to the nanostructural architecture of the scales, which reflects and refracts incident light, with or without the combination of pigments. The current scanning electron, fluorescence and optical microscope study divulge fine structural and signal changes that occur with different season in the scales of M. leda and give rise to the different wing pattern in butterfly. The structural and consequent signal changes are likely to be correlated with behavioural processes such as mate selection and escape from predation.

The properties of dust ion acoustic waves are investigated in an unmagnetized multicomponent plasma system consisting of ion beam, charged positive and negative ions, electrons obeying nonthermal-Tsallis distribution and stationary negatively charged dust grains by the conventional Sagdeev pseudopotential method, through which the condition for existence of several nonlinear structures is analyzed theoretically. The dispersion relation for electrostatic waves is derived and analyzed and an expression of the energy integral equation is obtaJned. It is reported here that our plasma model supports solitions, double layers and supersoliton solutions for certain range of parameters. Finally, the effects of different physical plasma parameters on these nonlinear structures are studied numerically. The present theory should be helpful in understanding the salient features of the electrostatic waves in space and in laboratory plasmas where two distinct groups of ions and non-Maxwellian distributed electrons are present.

Wind energy systems (WESs) based on doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) have enormous potential for meeting the future demands related to clean energy. Due to the low inertia and intermittency of power injection, a WES is equipped with a virtual inertial controller (VIC) to support the system during a frequency deviation event. The frequency deviation measured by a phase locked loop (PLL) installed on a point of common coupling (PCC) bus is the input signal to the VIC. However, a VIC with an improper inertial gain could deteriorate the damping of the power system, which may lead to instability. To address this issue, a mathematical formulation for calculating the synchronizing and damping torque coefficients of a WES-integrated single-machine infinite bus (SMIB) system while considering PLL and VIC dynamics is proposed in this paper. In addition, a power system stabilizer (PSS) is designed for wind energy integrated power systems to enhance electromechanical oscillation damping. A small-signal stability assessment is performed using the infinite bus connected to a synchronous generator of higher-order dynamics integrated with a VIC-equipped WES. Finally, the performance and robustness of the proposed PSS is demonstrated through time-domain simulation in SMIB and nine-bus test systems integrated with WES under several case studies.

A series of novel low band gap donor-acceptor （D-A） type organic co-polymers （BT-F-TPA, BT-CZ-TPA and BT-SI-TPA） consisting of electron-deficient acceptor blocks both in main chains （M1） and at the pendant （M2） were polymerized with different electron rich donor （M3-M5） blocks, i.e., 9,9-dihexyl-9H-fluorene, N-alkyl-2,7-carbazole, and 2,6-dithinosilole, respectively, via Suzuki method. These polymers exhibited relatively low band gaps （1.65-1.88 eV） and broad absorption ranges （680-740 nm）. Bulk heterojunction （BHJ） solar cells incorporating these polymers as electron donors, blended with [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester （PC61BM） or [6,6]-phenyl-Cvl-butyric acid methyl ester （PC71BM） as electron-acceptors in different weight ratios were fabricated and tested under 100 mW/cm2 of AM 1.5 with white-light illumination. The photovoltaic device containing donor BT-SI-TPA and acceptor PC71BM in 1：2 weight ratio showed the best power conversion efficiency （PCE） value of 1.88%, with open circuit voltage （Voc） = 0.75 V, short circuit current density （Jsc） = 7.60 mA/cm2, and fill factor （FF） = 33.0%.

The nonlinear features of two-dimensional ion acoustic(IA) solitary and shock structures in a dissipative electron-positron-ion(EPI) quantum plasma are investigated. The dissipation in the system is taken into account by incorporating the kinematic viscosity of ions in plasmas. A quantum hydrodynamic(QHD) model is used to describe the quantum plasma system. The propagation of small but finite amplitude solitons and shocks is governed by the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Burger(KPB) equation. It is observed that depending on the values of plasma parameters(*** diffraction, positron concentration, viscosity), both compressive and rarefactive solitons and shocks are found to exist. Furthermore, the energy of the soliton is computed and possible solutions of the KPB equation are presented numerically in terms of the monotonic and oscillatory shock profiles

Proxy signature schemes enable an entity to del- egate its signing rights to any other party, called proxy signer. As a variant of proxy signature primitive, proxy multi- signature allows a group of original signers to delegate their signing capabilities to a single proxy signer in such a way that the proxy signer can sign a message on behalf of the group of original signers. We propose a concrete ID-based proxy multi-signature scheme from bilinear pairings. The proposed scheme is existential unforgeable against adaptively chosen message and given ID-attack in random oracle model under the computational Diltie-Hellman （CDH） assumption. The fascinating property of new scheme is that the size of a proxy multi-signature is independent of the number of original sign- ers. Furthermore the proposed scheme is simple and com- putationally more efficient than other ID-based proxy multi- signature schemes.
