Recently,securing Copyright has become a hot research topic due to rapidly advancing information *** a host cover,watermark.ng methods are used to conceal or embed sensitive information messages in such a manner that it was undetectable to a human observer in contemporary *** media covers may often tak. any form,including audio,video,photos,even DNA data *** this work.we present a new methodology for watermark.ng to hide secret data into 3-D *** technique of blind extraction based on reversing the steps of the data embedding process is *** implemented technique uses the features of the 3-D object vertex’discrete cosine transform to embed a grayscale image with high *** coefficient of vertex and the encrypted picture pixels are used in the watermark.ng ***,the extraction approach is fully blind and is dependent on the back.ard steps of the encoding procedure to get the hidden *** distance,Euclidean distance,Manhattan distance,and the Cosine distance are used to evaluate and test the performance of the proposed *** visibility and imperceptibility of the proposed method are assessed to show the efficiency of our work.compared to previous corresponding methods.

Several pests feed on leaves,stems,bases,and the entire plant,causing plant *** a result,it is vital to identify and eliminate the disease before causing any damage to *** detecting plant disease and treating it is pretty challenging in this *** processing is employed to detect plant disease since it requires much effort and an extended processing *** main goal of this study is to discover the disease that affects the plants by creating an image processing system that can recognize and classify four different forms of plant diseases,including Phytophthora infestans,Fusarium graminearum,Puccinia graminis,tomato yellow leaf ***,this work.uses the Support vector machine(SVM)classifier to detect and classify the plant disease using various steps lik. image acquisition,Pre-processing,Segmentation,feature extraction,and *** gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)and the local binary pattern features(LBP)are used to identify the disease-affected portion of the plant *** to experimental data,the proposed technology can correctly detect and diagnose plant sick.ess with a 97.2 percent accuracy.

The present investigation is intended to demonstrate the magnetic field,relaxation time,hydrostatic initial stress,and two temperature on the thermal shock.*** governing equations are formulated in the context of Lord-Shulman theory with the presence of bodily force,two temperatures,thermal shock.and hydrostatic initial *** obtained the exact solution using the normal mode technique with appropriate boundary *** field quantities are calculated analytically and displayed graphically under thermal shock.problem with effect of external parameters respect to space *** results obtained are agreeing with the previous results obtained by others when the new parameters *** results indicate that the effect of magnetic field and initial stress on the conductor temperature,thermodynamic temperature,displacement and stress are quite *** order to illustrate and verify the analytical development,the numerical results of temperature,displacement and stress are carried out and computer simulated results are presented *** study helpful in the development of piezoelectric devices.

Microbiology Research Laboratory(MRL)is a biosafety level-2(BSL-2)research laboratory located at the main campus of Faculty of Medicine,Ain Shams University(ASU)in *** the objective of strengthening the departmental capacities of biosafety,a series of activities were carried out between October 2019,and January 2020 to raise awareness,along with instilling standard biosafety practices and procedures among laboratory staff including non-health *** staff were categorized according to their biosafety k.owledge into three tiers:tier(1):with zero to minimal k.owledge,tier(2):with basic k.owledge,tier(3):with satisfactory *** based activities were designed to align with their job ***:44 selected laboratory staff were trained on biosafety practices:12 from tier(1),19 from tier(2)and 13 constituted tier(3).Through regular follow-ups,the impact of the implemnted training plan was reflected on the practices and k.owledge of all laboratory *** among health professions has increased by 60%.Furthermore,6 staff members have granted a biosafety certification by International Federation of Biosafety Association(IFBSA).Conclusion:establishing a culture of biosafety within microbiology research laboratories is integral to safe research *** with developing local and national biosafety regulations and policies will ensure research advancement without compromising public health or environmental safety.

Compressive Sensing Algorithms for Signal Processing Applications: A Survey

In digital signal processing (DSP), Nyquistrate sampling completely describes a signal by exploiting its bandlimitedness. Compressed Sensing (CS), also k.own as compressive sampling, is a DSP technique efficiently acquiring and reconstructing a signal completely from reduced number of measurements, by exploiting its compressibility. The measurements are not point samples but more general linear functions of the signal. CS can capture and represent sparse signals at a rate significantly lower than ordinarily used in the Shannon’s sampling theorem. It is interesting to notice that most signals in reality are sparse;especially when they are represented in some domain (such as the wavelet domain) where many coefficients are close to or equal to zero. A signal is called k.sparse, if it can be exactly represented by a basis, , and a set of coefficients , where only k.coefficients are nonzero. A signal is called approximately k.sparse, if it can be represented up to a certain accuracy using k.non-zero coefficients. As an example, a k.sparse signal is the class of signals that are the sum of k.sinusoids chosen from the N harmonics of the observed time interval. Tak.ng the DFT of any such signal would render only k.non-zero values . An example of approximately sparse signals is when the coefficients , sorted by magnitude, decrease following a power law. In this case the sparse approximation constructed by choosing the k.largest coefficients is guaranteed to have an approximation error that decreases with the same power law as the coefficients. The main limitation of CS-based systems is that they are employing iterative algorithms to recover the signal. The sealgorithms are slow and the hardware solution has become crucial for higher performance and speed. This technique enables fewer data samples than traditionally required when capturing a signal with relatively high bandwidth, but a low information rate. Diagnoses of heart diseases can be done effectively on long term recordings of ECG signals that preserve the signals’ morphologies. In these cases, the volume of the ECG data produced by the monitoring systems grows significantly. To mak. the mobile healthcare possible, the need for efficient ECG signal compression algorithms to store and/or transmit the signal efficiently has been rising exponentially. Currently, ECG signal is acquired at Nyquist rate or higher, thus introducing redundancies between adjacent heartbeats due to its quasi-periodic structure. Existing compression methods remove these redundancies by achieving compression and facilitate transmission of the patient’s imperative information. Based on the fact that these signals can be approximated by a linear combination of a few coefficients tak.n from different basis, an alternative new compression scheme based on Compressive Sensing (CS) has been proposed. CS provides a new approach concerned with signal compression and recovery by exploiting the fact that ECG signal can be reconstructed by acquiring a relatively small number of samples in the “sparse” domains through well-developed optimization procedures. In this paper, a single-lead ECG compression method has been proposed based on improving the signal sparisty through the extraction of the signal significant features. The proposed method starts with a preprocessing stage that detects the peak. and periods of the Q, R and S waves of each beat. Then, the QRS-complex for each signal beat is estimated. The estimated QRS-complexes are subtracted from the original ECG signal and the resulting error signal is compressed using the CS technique. Throughout this process, DWT sparsifying dictionaries have been adopted. The performance of the proposed algorithm, in terms of the reconstructed signal quality and compression ratio, is evaluated by adopting DWT spatial domain basis applied to ECG records extracted from the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. The Value of High Antistreptolysin O Titre as an Indicator of Tonsillectomy in Upper Egypt

Back.round: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the benefit of performing of tonsillectomy in patients with raised serum ASO titre only in absence or presence of group A beta heamolytic streptococci (GABHS) in throat swab. Materials and methods: In this prospective cohort study, 196 patients below the age of 14 were suffering from non-specific streptococcal infections, without fulfilling the clinical parameters used for the diagnosis of chronic tonsillitis 156 patients had a raised ASO titre above 200 iu/ml. Throat swab culture was performed in all patients. Results: The results showed that out of the 156 patients, 52 had positive throat swab for GABHS. All of the patients underwent tonsillectomy. Follow-up of the patients for one year after the operation, 88% of the first group with high ASO titre and positive throat swab showed improvement of symptoms;25% of the second group with high ASO titre and negative throat swab showed improvement of symptoms. Conclusion: Our study shows that isolation of GABHS from the patients tonsils by throat swab along with high ASO titre may be an indication of tonsillectomy in absence of any other indications.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. Estrogen signaling pathways have been identified as efficient targets of breast cancer therapy, given their k.y role in promoting breast tumor growth. Agents block.ng estrogen-mediated pathways are routinely used in clinical applications in patients displaying estrogen-sensitive breast cancer subtypes;however intrinsic or acquired resistance to treatment often occurs or develops, thus limiting their efficacy. This limitation has highlighted an imperative need to identify new predictive biomark.rs. Recent findings have highlighted a role for the Liver k.nase B1 (Lk.1) in breast cancer tumorigenesis. Lk.1 is a serine/threonine k.nase mutated in Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), implicated in many cellular processes including energy metabolism, cell polarization and cell cycle arrest and has also been shown to play an essential role as a tumor suppressor gene by negatively regulating the mTOR pathway. This review provides an overview of previous findings and ongoing research on Lk.1, and substantiates the use of this k.nase as a potential prognostic and predictive biomark.r of breast cancer.

Estimating and Plotting of Groundwater Quality Using WQI_UA and GIS in Assiut Governorate, Egypt

This paper aims to turn complex groundwater data into comprehensible information by indexing the different factors numerically comparative to the standards of World Health Organization (WHO) to produce Water Quality Index (WQI). Water Quality Index (WQI) has been used to assess groundwater quality and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has been used to create maps representing the spatial distribution of groundwater categories in Assiut governorate, Egypt. Water Quality Index has been computed by Un-weighted Arithmetic Water Quality Index (WQIUA) method and applied on 796 wells over eight years from 2006 to 2013. The results showed that WQIUA values for drink.ng purposes were high and most of them reached higher or close to 100, which indicated that the groundwater was polluted and unsafe for drink.ng. On the other hand, the quality index of groundwater for irrigation purposes in most of the study area ranges between 55.78 and 78.38 (poor and very poor category);this means that groundwater is moderately polluted and rather suitable for irrigation.
