a.m: This study a.med to investiga.e the effect of non-synonymous SNPs (nsSNPs) of the Gluca.on-like peptide-1 Receptor (GLP-1R) gene in protein function a.d structure using different computa.iona. softwa.e. Introduction: The GLP1R gene provides the necessa.y instruction for the synthesis of the insulin hormones which is needed for glucose ca.a.olism. Polymorphisms in this gene a.e a.socia.ed with dia.etes. The protein is a. importa.t drug ta.get for the trea.ment of type-2 dia.etes a.d stroke. Ma.eria. a.d Methods: Different nsSNPs a.d protein-rela.ed sequences were obta.ned from NCBI a.d ExPa.Y da.a.a.e. Gene a.socia.ions a.d intera.tions were predicted using GeneMa.Ia.softwa.e. Deleterious a.d da.a.ing effects of nsSNPs were a.a.yzed using SIFT, Provea., a.d Polyphen-2. The a.socia.ion of the nsSNPs with the disea.e wa. predicted using SNPs & GO softwa.e. Protein sta.ility wa. investiga.ed using I-Muta.t a.d MUpro softwa.e. The structura. a.d functiona. impa.t of point muta.ions wa. predicted using Project Hope softwa.e. Project Hope a.a.yzes the muta.ions a.cording to their size, cha.ge, hydrophobicity, a.d conserva.cy. Results: The GLP1R gene wa. found to ha.e a. a.socia.ion with 20 other different genes. a.ong the most importa.t ones is the GCG (gluca.on) gene which is a.so a.tra.s membra.e protein. Overa.l 7229 va.ia.ts were seen, a.d the missense va.ia.ts or nsSNPs (146) were selected for further a.a.ysis. The tota. number of nsSNPs obta.ned in this study wa. 146. a.ter being subjected to SIFT softwa.e (27 Deleterious a.d 119 Tolera.ed) were predicted. a.a.ysis with Provea. showed tha. (20 deleterious a.d 7 neutra.). a.a.ysis using Polyphen-2 revea.ed 17 proba.ly da.a.ing, 2 possibly da.a.ing a.d 1 benign nsSNPs. a.M： To eva.ua.e the fea.ures a.d outcome of ma.a.ement of ma.igna.t conjunctiva. squa.ous tumors in King Hussein Ca.cer Center（a.referra. tertia.y ca.cer center in the Middle Ea.t）. METHODS： Retrospective ca.e series of 31 eyes for 31 pa.ients with conjunctiva. squa.ous neopla.ia. Ma.n outcome mea.ures included： a.e, gender, la.era.ity, tumor loca.ion, pa.hologica. fea.ures, tumor sta.e, trea.ment moda.ity, a.d outcome. RESULTS： Twenty（65%） pa.ients were ma.es a.d media. a.e wa. 58 y. Twenty-two（71%） eyes ha. the tumor in the na.a. qua.ra.t. Tumor inva.ion to nea.by structures wa. seen in 19（61%） eyes, including the cornea. fornix, eyelid, a.d orbit in 17（55%）, 1（3%）, 2（6%）, a.d 3（10%） eyes, respectively. Eye sa.va.e wa. a.hieved by surgica. excision with cryothera.y followed by topica. chemothera.y in 28（90%） eyes, a.d orbita. exentera.ion wa. necessa.y in 3（10%） eyes due to orbita. tumor inva.ion. Tumor recurrence wa. seen in 7（23%） eyes, a.d the significa.t predictive fa.tors for recurrence were tumor extension onto the nea.by structures（P=0.04）, tumor inva.iveness（P=0.038）, a.d tumor TNM sta.e（P=0.031）. No significa.t cha.ge in visua. a.uity wa. seen, a.d disea.e rela.ed morta.ity wa. 6%（2 pa.ients, both ha. orbita. inva.ion by inva.ive squa.ous ca.cinoma.. CONCLUSION： Conjunctiva. squa.ous ca.cinoma.is more common in ma.es. a.va.ced a.erica. Joint Committee on Ca.cer（a.CC） T-sta.e, tumor loca. inva.ion, more pa.hologica.ly a.gressive tumors, a.d surgica. trea.ment a.one（without a.juva.t thera.y） a.e a.socia.ed with higher risk for recurrence, a.d orbita. inva.ion is the most importa.t poor prognostic fa.tor for meta.ta.is a.d dea.h. Ba.kground: Cervica. ca.cer is the second common ca.cer a.ong women worldwide. It is a.preventa.le ca.cer, a.d ea.ly detection of preca.cerous conditions through the Pa.a.icola.u cytology screening (Pa. smea.) is a.key a.pect of prevention;it is a.cepted worldwide a. a. efficient tool for seconda.y prevention. While the PS test is simple, inexpensive, a.d rela.ively relia.le a. a.method of dia.nosing cervica. ca.cer, most women do not ta.e the test. Therefore, this study is sought to describe the ba.riers to pa. smea. upta.e a.ong Suda.ese women. Ma.eria.s a.d Method: This tota. covera.e observa.iona., a.a.ytica. a.d cross sectiona., hospita.-ba.ed study wa. conducted in Sa.d a.u El Ella.Hospita. in a.ril 2022. The study wa. conducted using a. a.onymous questionna.re to a.sess the perceived ba.riers of 93 pa.ticipa.ts. a.l da.a.were computerized using Microsoft Excel’17 a.d the da.a.were described a.d a.a.yzed using sta.istica. pa.ka.e for socia. science (SPSS23). Results: The findings revea.ed tha. the mea. a.e of the pa.ticipa.ts wa. 39.5 yea.s a.d only 3.2% ha. ever undergone a.pa. smea. test. Identified ba.riers were la.k of informa.ion, not knowing where to go, a.d fea. of pa.n. The ma.ority, 72% a.e willing to routinely perform a.pa. smea. test if well informed a.out it. The study a.so demonstra.es tha. there is a.significa.t correla.ion between perceived ba.riers score a.d willingness to perform the pa. smea. test (p va.ue = 0.008), a.d between the perceived ba.riers score a.d the sociodemogra.hic fa.tors: a.e (p va.ue = 0.006), educa.iona. level (p va.ue = 0.028) a.d occupa.ion (p va.ue = 0.040), but no a.socia.ion with the economic sta.us wa. found (p va.ue = 0.378). Conclusion: The detection ra.e is too low compa.ed to the na.iona. ta.get of over 70%. Therefore, more work is needed to reduce perceived ba.riers to cervica. ca.cer screening by providing educa.ion/ra.sing for popula. a.a.eness;a.dressing misconceptions a.d fa.se beliefs;informing women a.out
