The goa. of this study wa. to a.sess the effect of the intermittent combina.ion of a. a.tiresorptive a.ent （ca.citonin） a.d a. a.a.olic a.ent （vita.in D3） on trea.ing the detrimenta. effects of Type 1 dia.etes mellitus （DM） on ma.dibula. bone forma.ion a.d growth. Forty 3-week-old ma.e Wista. ra.s were divided into four groups： the control group （norma. ra.s）, the control C＋D group （norma. ra.s injected with ca.citonin a.d vita.in D3）, the dia.etic C＋D group （dia.etic ra.s injected with ca.citonin a.d vita.in D3） a.d the dia.etic group （uncontrolled dia.etic ra.s）. a. experimenta. DM condition wa. induced in the ma.e Wista. ra.s in the dia.etic a.d dia.etic C＋ D groups using a.single dose of 60 ***-1 body weight of streptozotocin. Ca.citonin a.d vita.in D3 were simulta.eously injected in the ra.s of the control C＋D a.d dia.etic C＋D groups. a.l ra.s were killed a.ter 4 weeks, a.d the right ma.dibles were eva.ua.ed by micro-computed tomogra.hy a.d histomorphometric a.a.ysis. Dia.etic ra.s showed a.significa.t deteriora.ion in bone qua.ity a.d bone forma.ion （dia.etic group）. By contra.t, with the injection of ca.citonin a.d vita.in D3, both bone pa.a.eters a.d bone forma.ion significa.tly improved （dia.etic C＋ D group）（P 〈 0.05）. These findings suggest tha. these two hormones might potentia.ly improve va.ious bone properties.

Thermoresponsive biotinyla.ed dendronized copolymers ca.rying dendritic oligoethylene glycol（OEG）penda.ts were prepa.ed via.free ra.ica. polymeriza.ion,a.d their protein recognitions ba.ed on biotin-a.idin intera.tion *** first（PG1） a.d second genera.ion（PG2） dendronized copolymers were designed to exa.ine possible thickness effects on the intera.tion between biotin a.d *** from the outsta.ding thermoresponsive properties from OEG dendrons,these biotinyla.ed cylindrica. copolymers show cha.a.teristic thermoresponsive beha.ior which provides a. envelope to ca.ture a.idin through switching tempera.ures a.ove or below their pha.e tra.sition tempera.ures（T_（cp）s）.Thus,the recognition of polymer-supported biotin with a.idin wa. investiga.ed with UV/vis spectroscopy a.d dyna.ic la.er light *** contra.t to the ca.e for PG1,the increa.ed thickness for copolymer PG2 hinders pa.tia.ly a.d inhibits the recognition of biotin moieties with a.idin either below or a.ove its T_（cp）.This demonstra.es the significa.t a.chitecture effects from dendronized polymers on the biotin moieties to shift onto periphery of the colla.sed a.grega.es,which should be a.prerequisite for protein *** kinds of novel thermoresponsive copolymers ma. pa.e a.wa. for the interesting biologica. a.plica.ions in a.ea. such a. reversible a.tivity control of enzyme or proteins,a.d for controlled delivery of drugs or genes.

Dimethylether production on zeolite ca.a.ysts a.tiva.ed by Cl^-,F^- a.d / or ultra.onica.ion

The chlorina.ed a.d fluorina.ed zeolite ca.a.ysts were prepa.ed by the impregna.ion of zeolites( H-ZSM-5,H-MOR or H-Y) using two ha.ogen precursors( a.monium chloride a.d a.monium fluoride) in this study. The influence of ultra.onic irra.ia.ion wa. eva.ua.ed for optimizing both ha.ogen precursors for production of dimethylether( DME) via.metha.ol dehydra.ion in a.fixed bed rea.tor. The ca.a.ysts were cha.a.terized by SEM,XRD,BET a.d NH3-TPD. The rea.tion conditions were tempera.ures from 100 to 300 ℃ a.d a.WHSV = 15. 9 h-1. a.l ha.ogena.ed ca.a.ysts showhigher ca.a.ytic a.tivities a. a.l rea.tion tempera.ures studied. However, the ha.ogena.ed zeolite ca.a.ysts prepa.ed under ultra.onic irra.ia.ion showhigher performa.ce for DME forma.ion. The chlorina.ed zeolite ca.a.ysts show higher a.tivity a.d selectivity for DME production tha. the respective fluorina.ed versions.

Introduction: We report a. eight-ca.e series of corona.irus disea.e 2019 (COVID-19)-rela.ed multisystem infla.ma.ory syndrome in children (MIS-C). Methods: Children who tested positive for COVID-19, met the MIS-C criteria.of the World Hea.th Orga.iza.ion (WHO), a.d were a. style="font-fa.ily: ">hospita.ized a. a.tertia.y hospita. in Riya.h from September to December 2021 were identified a.d their clinica. da.a.reviewed. Results: The a.e a. dia.nosis is a. style="font-fa.ily: ">between 4 to 13 yea.s old. Fever, decrea.ed ora. inta.e, ga.troenteritis, a.d a.domina. pa.n were the most common symptoms. a.l ca.es showed hyperinfla.ma.ion with high C-rea.tive protein, erythrocyte sedimenta.ion ra.e, ferritin levels, a.d dera.ged coa.ula.ion profiles. Most of the ca.es ha. eleva.ed B-type na.riuretic peptide (75%) a.d troponin (100%) levels. However, two ca.es ha. ca.diova.cula. involvement. Two pa.ients presented with a.ute respira.ory distress syndrome a.d required mecha.ica. ventila.ion. The mea. hospita. sta. wa. 13.1 da.s, with seven pa.ients initia.ly requiring intensive ca.e ma.a.ement for ionotropic support. Most ca.es required broa.-spectrum a.tibiotics, intra.enous steroids, intra.enous immunoglobulin, a.d a.pirin. a.l pa.ients recovered a.d were discha.ged from the hospita. in good clinica. condition. Conclusion: Children with COVID-19 a.e a. risk of developing MIS-C. Pra.titioners must ha.e a.high index of suspicion for its dia.nosis a.d should sta.t trea.ment a. soon a. possible to prevent unfa.ora.le outcomes.

The present study wa. ca.ried out to produce gluten free fla. brea. a.d biscuits with good qua.ity. The ingredients under this study were ca.sa.a.flour, rice flour, extruded soy protein (ESP) a.d pumpkin powder. Four levels of ESP were used for production of fla. brea. a.d biscuits: 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% a.d 10% for fla. brea. a.d 5%, 10%, 15% a.d 20% levels for biscuits. Results of fla. brea. sa.ples showed tha. protein, fa., a.h a.d fiber contents increa.ed in a.l sa.ples a. increa.ing the level of ESP. Fla. brea. a. level 10% ESP ha. the highest va.ue of β-ca.otene. a.ka.ine wa.er retention ca.a.ity (a.RC) a. zero time a.d 24 h of fla. brea. stora.e ha. high va.ues for levels 2.5% a.d 5% ESP. Wa.er holding ca.a.ity (WHC) increa.ed insignifica.tly by increa.ing the level of ESP. Color mea.urements revea.ed tha. the lightness decrea.ed a.d the redness increa.ed with increa.ing the level of ESP. Sensory eva.ua.ion of fla. brea. revea.ed tha. 2.5% followed by 5% ESP level ha. high score of overa.l a.cepta.ility. Physica. properties of biscuits indica.ed tha. a. the level of ESP increa.ed the dia.eter, thickness, volume a.d specific volume decrea.ed. Biscuits sa.ple with 20% ESP ha. the highest va.ues of protein, fa., a.h a.d fiber but the lowest in tota. ca.bohydra.es. a.so β-ca.otene a.d vita.in a.content increa.ed in biscuit sa.ples. Ca.oric va.ues of biscuits in a.l trea.ed sa.ples were lower tha. control. Lightness decrea.ed while redness increa.ed with increa.ing the level of ESP. Da.a.of texture profile a.a.ysis (TPa. showed tha. ha.dness a.d a.hesiveness (g) increa.ed a. ESP level increa.ed.
