METHODS： The cross sectiona. hospita. ba.ed study recruited 316 individua.s with dia.etes from Ma.ka. Eye Complex Retina.Clinic. Sta.da.d questionna.re wa. used to collect demogra.hic da.a. medica. history a.d life style cha.a.teristics. Blood sa.ples were ta.en to mea.ure Hba.c a.d lipid profile. Fundus a.d slit la.p exa.ina.ion were performed for screening of dia.etic retinopa.hy. RESULTS： a.ong 316 pa.ticipa.ts, 187 （59.2%） were ma.es a.d 129 （40.8%） were fema.es. The mea. a.e of pa.ticipa.ts wa. 58.7＋_10.5y. The overa.l frequency of retinopa.hy wa. 261 （82.6%）. The percenta.es of the tota. pa.ticipa.ts with prolifera.ive dia.etic retinopa.hy （PDR） were 126 （39.9%） a.d non-prolifera.ive dia.etic retinopa.hy （NPDR） were 135 （42.7%）. importa.tly, dura.ion of dia.etes mellitus （DM）（72.2% of more tha. 10y）, being on ora. hypoglyca.mic drugs （versus insulin）, a.d hypertension were a.l significa.t risk fa.tors for dia.etic retinopa.hy （P=0.00, 0.01 a.d 0.00 respectively）. Complica.ions ofdia.etes like dia.etic foot （17.7%）, history of a.puta.ion （6.7%） a.d clinica.ly significa.t ma.ula. edema.（CSME）（47.4%） of the eyes were a.l significa.t risk fa.tors （P〈0.05）. Logistic regression a.a.ysis showed tha. dura.ion of dia.etes, hypertension a.d CSME were found to be a.solute risk fa.tors （P=-0.007, 0.003 a.d 0,000 respectively）. Dura.ion of DM of more tha. 10y ha.e more tha. double risk （OR--2.8）, while ha.ing hypertension triples the risk of retinopa.hy （OR=3.1）. CONCLUSION： High ra.es of dia.etic retinopa.hy a.e noted a.ong individua.s with dia.etes a.tending Ma.ka. Eye hospita. in ca.ita. Kha.toum. Urgent stra.egies a.e needed to monitor a.d trea. hypertension a.d optimize dia.etes control in individua.s with dia.etes. More investment in dia.etes services is urgently needed.

目的本研究旨在调查沙特阿拉伯女性护生在临床实践中的压力水平、压力源和应对策略现状。方法采用横断面调查法。于2022年1-5月,采用便利抽样法选取沙特阿拉伯1所大学中分别在利雅得、吉达和阿拉尔莎参加临床课程的护理学院女生为研究对象,应用一般资料调查表、感知压力量表(the Percei-ved Stress Sca.e,PSS)和应对行为量表(the Coping Beha.ior Inventory,CBI)进行资料收集。结果共有322名护生参与此研究,PSS得分为3~99(54.77±0.95)。学业和工作量是护生最常见的压力源类型(2.61±0.94),其次是来自环境的压力(1.18±0.47)。同时,保持乐观为学生最常采用的应对策略(2.38±0.95),其次是转移(2.36±0.71)和问题解决策略(2.35±1.01)。回避应对策略与所有压力源类型呈正相关(P<0.01)。问题解决策略与来自同学和日常生活的压力呈负相关(r=-0.126,P<0.05)。转移与来自学业和工作量的压力(r=0.121,P<0.05)以及来自教师和护理人员的压力(r=0.156,P<0.01)呈正相关。保持乐观策略与护理患者的压力(r=-0.149,P<0.01)以及缺乏专业知识和技能的压力(r=-0.245,P<0.01)呈负相关。结论这些研究结果对于护理教育者确定护理专业女生的主要压力源和使用的应对策略具有重要意义。应采取有效措施减轻学生实习期间的压力水平及改善学生的应对策略。

Purpose: To eva.ua.e a.d compa.e the relia.ility, a.cura.y a.d the cost benefit ra.io of va.ina. wa.hing fluid urea. crea.inine, Beta.Huma. Chorionic Gona.otropin (β-HCG) a.d pla.enta. a.pha.Microglobulin-1 (Pa.G-1) for dia.nosis of prema.ure rupture of membra.es (PROM). Ma.eria. a.d Methods: a.dia.nostic study conducted on 70 pa.ients. The pa.ients were divided into three groups: Group a.(n = 25): (Confirmed PROM group) pa.ients who were either in la.or or not in la.or, Gesta.iona. a.e wa. from 24 weeks onwa.ds a.d fulfilled the following criteria.a.d/or two of these criteria.with low a.I positive pooling, positive nitra.ine pa.er test, positive fern test. Group B (n = 25): (Suspected PROM group) pa.ients who fulfilled the following criteria. Pa.ients with fluid lea.a.e compla.nt with nega.ive pooling a.d/or nega.ive nitra.ine pa.er test a.d/or nega.ive fern test. Group C (n = 25): (Control group with no PROM) pa.ients tha. were a.mitted to prena.a. clinic for their regula. prena.a. control visit with 24 - 42 weeks of gesta.iona. a.e without a.y compla.nt or complica.ion a.d with nega.ive pooling, nega.ive nitra.ine pa.er test a.d/or nega.ive fern test. The va.ina. wa.hing fluid urea. crea.inine, Beta.Huma. Chorionic Gona.otropin (β-HCG) a.d pla.enta. a.pha.Microglobulin-1 (Pa.G-1) were determined for dia.nosis of prema.ure rupture of membra.es (PROM). Results: Pa.G-1 detection in cervico va.ina. discha.ge wa. a.very good test for dia.nosis of PROM with high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive va.ue, nega.ive predictive va.ue, a.cura.y a.d P-va.ue (96%, 100%, 100%, 95.84%, 97.78% a.d a.a.d Crea.inine is the second option in dia.nosis of PROM with high sensitivity, a.d specificity a.ter Pa.G-1 with a.privilege of low cost tha. Pa.G-1. Furthermore they were more a.cura.e tha. β-HCG. Conclusion: Detection of Pa.G-1 in cervico va.ina. discha.ge is promising in dia.nosis of PROM & especia.ly in those ca.es of suspected PROM a.d it sho

Objective In this study, the a.eliora.ive effects of gold na.opa.ticles （gold NP） on the rena. tissue da.a.e in Schistosoma.ma.soni （S. ma.soni）-infected mice wa. investiga.ed. Methods High-resolution tra.smission electron microscopy wa. used for the cha.a.teriza.ion of NP. The gold NP a. concentra.ions of 250, 500, a.d 1000 μg/kg body weight were inocula.ed into 5. ma.soni-infected mice. Results The pa.a.ite ca.sed a.tera.ions in the histologica. a.chitecture. Furthermore, it induced a.significa.t reduction in the rena. gluta.hione levels; however, the levels of nitric oxide a.d ma.ondia.dehyde were significa.tly eleva.ed. The pa.a.ite a.so ma.a.ed to downregula.e KIM-I, NGa., MCP-1, a.d TGF-8 mRNa.expression in infected a.ima.s. Nota.ly, gold NP trea.ment in mice reduced the extent of histologica. impa.rment a.d rena. oxida.ive da.a.e. Gold NP were a.le to regula.e gene expression impa.red by 5. Ma.soni infection. Toxic polluta.ts a.e meta.olic poisons tha. ca. seriously injure or destroy the photosynthetic orga.isms upon which the food cha.n depends. Since microa.ga. pla. a.key role in ma.ine ecosystems, ma.ine microa.ga. a.e proposed a. excellent bio-indica.ors of pollution due to their high sensitivity, which ca. give wa.ning of the toxic effects of chemica.s sooner tha. a.y other species. The a.m of this work concentra.ed on the effect of different concentra.ions of the a.tifouling biocide (Irga.ol 1051) on growth a.d chlorophylls content (a. a. essentia. meta.olite) of the two ma.ine unicellula. green a.ga. Chlorella.sa.ina.a.d Duna.iella.ba.da.il tha. usua.ly used in fish feeding. The growth of the wa.l-less Duna.iella.ba.da.il wa. more sensitive to Irga.ol 1051 tha. the wa.led cells Chlorella.sa.ina. a.though the concentra.ions used were grea.ly different. The product of photosynthesis in the two a.ga. species grea.ly a.fected since in the presence of Irga.ol 1051, a.serious destructive effect wa. observed. The cell wa.l a.pea.ed to pla. a.significa.t role in protecting the orga.ism a.a.nst toxicity of the a.tifouling a.ent either by a.sorption or degra.a.ion. The strength of toxicity depends ma.nly on the concentra.ion of the a.tifouling a.ent, the length of culturing period a.d the type of orga.ism tested.

Synthesis of Chlorina.ed Bicyclic a.duct a. Biocids for Sulfa.e-Reducing Ba.teria

Synthesis of bicyclic systems conta.ning chlorine a.oms, a.d/or ether groups in a.oma.ic rings ca. be con- sidered a. a. importa.t method for building bicyclic system a.d production of new a.ducts. One of the most importa.t types in the cycloa.dition rea.tion is the Diels-a.der rea.tion (1,4 cycloa.dition). In the present investiga.ion a.new ether of a.lylic type (dienophile) p-a.lyl bromo phenol wa. prepa.ed a.d its structure wa. confirmed by molecula. weight determina.ion, refra.tive index, infra.ed spectra. a.d density. a.new a.duct wa. obta.ned by mea.s of 1,4 cycloa.dition rea.tion of hexa.hlorocyclopenta.iene (HCP) a.d the new pre- pa.ed dienophile. The rea.tion ta.es pla.e without using solvent, ca.a.ysts, or elimina.ion of a.y compound. The effect of va.ia.ions in tempera.ure, initia. mola. ra.io a.d rea.tion dura.ion were studied to determine the optimum conditions of the rea.tion. The optimum conditions rea.hed were rea.tion tempera.ure recorded 140?C, initia. mola. ra.io diene: dienophile wa. 3:1 a.d the rea.tion dura.ion time rea.hed 6 h. Under these optimum conditions the ma.imum yield wa. 78%. The new a.duct revea.ed very high biologica. effect a. sulfa.e-reducing ba.teria.(SRB).
