This study aims to experiment with the mechanical properties of polypropylene(PP)/thermoplastic elastomer/nano-silica/compatibilizer nanocomposite using the melt mixing *** addition of polyolefin elastomers has proved to be an approachable solution for low impact strength of PP,while it would also reduce the Young's modulus and tensile *** is why reinforcement would be applied to this combination to enhance the elastic *** mechanical properties of the prepared composites were devised to train an artificial neural network to predict these properties of the system in 6256 unknown ***,the sensitivity analysis was performed and the share of each input parameter on the respective output values was ***,a novel parameter called nanocomposite evaluation criterion(NEC)is introduced to analyze the suitability of the nanocomposites considering the mechanical ***,the formulation with optimal mechanical properties of toughness,elongation at break,tensile strength,Young's modulus,and impact strength was obtained.

As corona virus disease(COVID-19)is still an ongoing global outbreak,countries around the world continue to take precautions and measures to control the spread of the *** of the excessive number of infected patients and the resulting deficiency of testing kits in hospitals,a rapid,reliable,and automatic detection of COVID-19 is in extreme need to curb the number of *** analyzing the COVID-19 chest X-ray images,a novel metaheuristic approach is proposed based on hybrid dipper throated and particle swarm *** lung region was segmented from the original chest X-ray images and augmented using various transformation ***,the augmented images were fed into the VGG19 deep network for feature *** the other hand,a feature selection method is proposed to select the most significant features that can boost the classification ***,the selected features were input into an optimized neural network for *** neural network is optimized using the proposed hybrid *** experimental results showed that the proposed method achieved 99.88%accuracy,outperforming the existing COVID-19 detection *** addition,a deep statistical analysis is performed to study the performance and stability of the proposed *** results confirm the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.

The purpose of the present paper is to study the entropy hs（Ф） of a quantum dynamical systems Ф = （ L, s, Ф）, where s is a bayessian state on an orthomodular lattice L. Having introduced the notion of entropy hs（ Ф, A） of partition A of a Boolean algebra B with respect to a state s and a state preserving homomorphism Ф, we prove a few results on that, define the entropy of a dynamical system hs（Ф）, and show its invariance. The concept of sufficient families is also given and we establish that hs （Ф） comes out to be equal to the supremum of hs （Ф,A）, where A varies over any sufficient family. The present theory has then been extended to the quantum dynamical system （ L, s, Ф）, which as an effect of the theory of commutators and Bell inequalities can equivalently be replaced by the dynamical system （B, s0, Ф）, where B is a Boolean algebra and so is a state on B.

Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a chronic and common form of dementia that mainly affects elderly *** disease is dangerous because it causes damage to brain cells and tissues before the symptoms appear,and there is nomedicinal or surgical treatment available yet *** loss of memory and functionality control in multiple degrees according to AD’s progression ***,early diagnosis of AD can hinder its *** imaging tools such as magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),computed tomography(CT)scans,positron emission tomography(PET),*** help in medical diagnosis of ***,computer-aided diagnosis(CAD)such as deep learning applied to brain images obtained with these tools,has been an established strategic methodology that is widely used for clinical assistance in prognosis of *** this study,we proposed an intelligent methodology for building a convolutional neural network(CNN)from scratch to detect AD stages from the brain MRI images dataset and to improve patient *** is worth mentioning that training a deep-learning model requires a large amount of data to produce accurate results and prevent the model from overfitting ***,for better understanding of classifiers and to overcome the model overfitting problem,we applied data augmentation to the minority classes in order to increase the number of MRI images in the *** experiments were conducted using Alzheimer’s MRI dataset consisting of brain MRI scanned *** performance of the proposed model determines detection of the four stages of *** results show high performance of the proposed model in that the model achieved a 99.38%accuracy rate,which is the highest so ***,the proposed model performance in terms of accuracy,precision,sensitivity,specificity,and f-measures is promising when compared to the very recent state-of-the-art domain-specific models existing in the literature.

Adapted European seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a primary weight and length of 23 mg and 9.92 mm,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning micro-diet(54%crude protein from fish meal,powder milk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artemia enriched with fortification emulsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitamin C(FOVC),or Fish oil+20%Vitamin E(FOVE),or Fish oil+10%Vit.C+10%Vit.E(FOCE),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artemia with DHAS and FOVE exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVC displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessment exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an improvement in the structure with DHAS,FOVE,FOVC,and FOCE co-additives compared to *** peroxidase enzyme(GPx)recorded the highest rates(P<0.05)in groups fed Artemia supplemented with DHAS and FOVE followed by FOCE and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augmented Artemia nauplii with fish oil+vitamin E in single or in companion with vitamin C as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

Gas–liquid flow mass transfer in a T-shape microreactor stimulated with 1.7 MHz ultrasound waves

This paper describes the application of ultrasound waves on hydrodynamics and mass transfer characteristics in the gas–liquid flow in a T-shape microreactor with a diameter of 800 μm. A 1.7 MHz piezoelectric transducer(PZT) was employed to induce the vibration in this microreactor. Liquid side volumetric mass transfer coefficients were measured by physical and chemical methods of CO_2 absorption into water and Na OH solution. The approach of absorption of CO_2 into a 1 mol·L^(-1) Na OH solution was used for analysis of interfacial areas. With the help of a photography system, the fluid flow patterns inside the microreactor were analyzed. The effects of superficial liquid velocity, initial concentration of Na OH, superficial CO_2 gas velocity and length of microreactor on the mass transfer rate were investigated. The comparison between sonicated and plain microreactors(microreactor with and without ultrasound) shows that the ultrasound wave irradiation has a significant effect on kLa and interfacial area at various operational conditions. For the microreactor length of 12 cm, ultrasound waves improved kLa and interfacial area about 21% and 22%, respectively. From this study, it can be concluded that ultrasound wave irradiation in microreactor has a great effect on the mass transfer rate. This study suggests a new enhancement technique to establish high interfacial area and kLa in microreactors.

Infertility and gynaecological cancer are two major problems in the field of women's health, where both have serious implications on a woman's physical, social and emotional wellbeing. There are well established links between many aspects of infertility and different types of gynaecological malignancies, including etiology, pathogenesis and disease management. In this special issue there are valuable articles that highlight different aspects of the relationship between infertility and gynaecological oncology. The issue covers conditions that represent risk factors for both infertility and gynaecological neoplasia. There is emphasis on the role of the fallopian tube being a critical organ for both conditions. There is a review on the advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment with consideration of the preservation of patient fertility. The various technologies for fertility preservation are reviewed and their strengths and weaknesses discussed. One of the important fertility preservation techniques is cryopreservation of embryo oocytes or ovarian tissue. This special issue emphasises that fertility preservation is now an important consideration in oncology clinics, and the options available to patients are routinely offered. Future developments will offer women in this difficult situation more options for fertility preservation, with an individualised approach for each patient. Equally, for infertile patients it is important to assess the risk of malignancy so as to provide optimal and timely intervention.
