Vitamin D&vitamin D receptor(VDR)signaling play a very crucial role in early embryonic heart *** construct this case-control study to investigate the association between maternal serum vitamin D level&VDR gene Fok1 polymorphism and risk of congenital heart defects(CHD)in *** mothers who had term neonates with CHD were considered as *** age-comparable healthy mothers who had neonates without CHD were contemplated as *** serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D]level was tested using *** VDR gene Fok1 polymorphism was analyzed using PCR-based *** was a significant decrease in maternal vitamin D level(P=0.002)and a significant increase in vitamin D deficient status(P=0.007)among cases when compared to *** gene Fok1 genotypes distribution frequency were in accordance with Hardy Weinberg equilibrium(HW)among controls.A significant increase in VDR gene Fok1 F/f&f/f genotypes and f allele were observed in cases compared to controls with estimated odds ratio(95%confidence interval)&P-value of 3(1e8)&P=0.006,11(1e97)&P=0.01 and 3(2e6)&P=0.001 *** was a significant decrease in maternal vitamin D level in neonates with cyanotic CHD(P=0.000)compared to those with a cyanotic CHD while there was no significant difference in VDR Fok1 genotype(P=0.18)&allele(P=0.05)distribution between two *** concluded that maternal vitamin D deficiency and VDR gene Fok1 F/f,f/f genotype and f allele were associated with increased risk of CHD in offspring.

Type 2 diabetes continues to be a serious and highly prevalent public health problem *** 2019,the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world at 12.2%,with its associated morbidity and mortality,was found in the middle East and North Africa *** addition to a genetic predisposition in its population,evidence suggests that obesity,physical inactivity,urbanization,and poor nutritional habits have contributed to the high prevalence of diabetes and prediabetes in the *** risk factors have also led to an earlier onset of type 2 diabetes among children and adolescents,negatively affecting the productive years of the youth and their quality of ***,efforts to control the rising prevalence of diabetes and its complications have been challenged and complicated by the political instability and armed conflict in some countries of the region and the recent coronavirus disease *** strategies,coupled with targeted interventions at the regional,national,and community levels are needed to address and curb the spread of this public health crisis.

Biological treatments as a mean to improve feed utilization in agriculture animals——An overview

As a result of agriculture practices, million tons of agriculture are produced as a secondary or by-products; however, with low nutritive values. many methods are applied to improve the nutritive value and increase its utilization in ruminant＇s nutrition. The biological treatments are the most common with more safe-treated products. In most cases, the biological treatments are paralleled with decreased crude fiber and fiber fractions content with increased crude protein content. Direct-fed microbial and exogenous enzymes to animal are other ways of biological methods for improving nutritive value of feeds. Here in this review, we will try to cover the biological treatments of by-products from different sides view with different types of animals and different animal end-products.

A unique circular path of moving single bubble sonoluminescence in water

Based on a quasi-adiabatic model, the parameters of the bubble interior for a moving single bubble sonoluminescence （m-SBSL） in water are calculated. By using a complete form of the hydrodynamic force, a unique circular path for the m-SBSL in water is obtained. The effect of the ambient pressure variation on the bubble trajectory is also investigated. It is concluded that as the ambient pressure increases, the bubble moves along a circular path with a larger radius and all bubble parameters, such as gas pressure, interior temperature and light intensity, increase. A comparison is made between the parameters of the moving bubble in water and those in N-methylformamide. With fluid viscosity increasing, the circular path changes into an elliptic form and the light intensity increases.

Osteosarcoma is one of the rare bone cancers that affect the individualsaged between 10 and 30 and it incurs high death rate. Early diagnosisof osteosarcoma is essential to improve the survivability rate and treatmentprotocols. Traditional physical examination procedure is not only a timeconsumingprocess, but it also primarily relies upon the expert’s *** this background, the recently developed Deep Learning (DL) models canbe applied to perform decision making. At the same time, hyperparameteroptimization of DL models also plays an important role in influencing overallclassification performance. The current study introduces a novel SymbioticOrganisms Search with Deep Learning-driven Osteosarcoma Detection andClassification (SOSDL-ODC) model. The presented SOSDL-ODC techniqueprimarily focuses on recognition and classification of osteosarcoma usinghistopathological images. In order to achieve this, the presented SOSDL-ODCtechnique initially applies image pre-processing approach to enhance the qualityof image. Also, mobileNetv2 model is applied to generate a suitable groupof feature vectors whereas hyperparameter tuning of mobileNetv2 modelis performed using SOS algorithm. At last, Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU)technique is applied as a classification model to determine proper class *** order to validate the enhanced osteosarcoma classification performance ofthe proposed SOSDL-ODC technique, a comprehensive comparative analysiswas conducted. The obtained outcomes confirmed the betterment of SOSDLODCapproach than the existing approaches as the former achieved a maximumaccuracy of 97.73%.

In vitro Ruminal Gas Production Kinetics of Four Fodder Trees Ensiled With or Without molasses and Urea

This study investigated if the addition of urea （U）, molasses （m） or their 1：1 （v/v） mixture during ensiling increases the nutritional value of forage from four fodder trees （Prunus persica, Leucaena esculenta, Acacia farnesiana, and Prunus domestica）. Forage samples of fodder trees were collected in triplicate （three individual samples of each species） and subjected to an in vitro gas production （GP） procedure. Fermentation at 24 h （GP 24）, short-chain volatile fatty acids （SCFA）, and microbial crude protein production （mCP）, in vitro organic matter digestibility （OmD）, metabolizable energy （mE） and dry matter degradability （DmD） were estimated. Forage samples were incubated for 72 h in an incubator at 39oC and the volume of GP was recorded at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h of incubation using the reading pressure technique. The rumen fermentation profiles were highest for P. persica, which showed the highest （P〈0.0001） DmD, mE, OmD, SCFA, GP 24 and mCP. On the other hand L. esculenta had the lowest （P〈0.0001） DmD, SCFA, mCP; P. domestica had the lowest （P〈0.0001） OmD. The addition of m to silage increased （P〈0.0001） mE and OmD, as well as GP. However, the addition of U and the mixture of U and m reduced （P〈0.0001） DmD, mE, OmD, SCFA, GY 24 and mCP. These results show that P. persica has the highest nutritive value and L. esculenta the lowest for ruminants. Additionally, the addition of m to forage from fodder trees increases rumen GP and fermentation, which may improve nutrient utilization in ruminants.

This study focuses on the heterogeneity of the middle miocene syn-rift Belayim nullipore(reefal)marine sequences in the Gulf of Suez and its impacts on reservoir *** sequences consist of coralline algal reef limestones with a highly complex dual-porosity system of primary and secondary porosities of widely varying *** achieve a precise mathematical modeling of these reservoir sequences,a workflow protocol was applied to separate these sequences into a number of hydraulic flow units(HFUs)and reservoir rock types(RRTs).This has been achieved by conducting a conventional core analysis on the nullipore marine *** illustrate the heterogeneity of the nullipore reservoir,the Dykstra-Parsons coefficient(V)has been estimated(V=0.91),indicating an extremely heterogeneous reservoir.A slight to high anisotropy(λ_(k))has been assigned for the studied nullipore sequences.A stratigraphic modified Lorenz plot(SmLP)was applied to define the optimum number of HFUs and barriers/baffles in each of the studied *** the permeability-porosity,reservoir quality index-normalized porosity index(RQI-NPI)and the RQI-flow zone indicator(RQIFZI)plots,the discrete rock types(DRT)and the R35 techniques enable the discrimination of the reservoir sequences into 4 RRTs/*** RRT4 packstone samples are characterized by the best reservoir properties(moderate permeability anisotropy,with a good-to-fair reservoir quality index),whereas the RRT1 mudstone samples have the lowest flow and storage capacities,as well as the tightest reservoir quality.

Impact of the socioeconomic status on the severity and outcome of community-acquired pneumonia among Egyptian children: a cohort study

Background:Community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)is one of the five leading causes of death among children in developing countries,accounting for approximately three million deaths per *** of the modifiable risk factors of CAP may help to reduce the burden of this *** this study,the impact of the socioeconomic status(SES)on the severity and outcome of CAP among Egyptian children was ***:This was a prospective longitudinal cohort study which included 1,470 children diagnosed with CAP,aged two to 15 years(median age 5.4 years).The diagnosis of CAP was based on clinical and radiological findings.A structured questionnaire and the patients’medical records were used for the data *** subjects were divided into two groups:mild and severe *** and demographic variables were compared,and a multivariate logistic regression analysis was ***:The multivariate analysis showed that a low maternal education level(OR:3.8;95%CI:2.12-6.70;P=.0001),unavailability of adequate medical care(OR:3.1;95%CI:1.99-4.88;P=.0001),a low family income(OR:2.2;95%CI:0.99-4.78;P=.047),and parents’smoking habits(OR:2.0;95%CI:1.15-3.55;P=.014)were significant independent predictive risk factors for severe CAP among Egyptian ***:Public health measures against these socio-demographic risk factors should be identified as priorities in order to help reduce the disease burden of deaths from severe CAP among Egyptian children.

Associations between CD133,CK19 and G2/m in cirrhotic HCV(genotype-4)patients with or without accompanying tumor

Hepatitis C virus(HCV)-cirrhotic patients have the highest threat of developing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and may be at risk of extra hepatic *** present study was designed to investigate CD133 and CK19 in HCV(genotype-4)-cirrhotic patients with/without HCC or extra hepatic cancer,to assess the degree of their correlation with cell cycle abnormalities and finally to assess the role of their combination as diagnostic tool for discrimination of cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic *** study included 77 HCV-cirrhotic patients and 20 healthy non-disease control *** were categorized histo-pathologically into:24 have only liver cirrhosis,26 with HCC,and 27 patients with extra hepatic *** cycle abnormalities,CD133 and CK19 were determined by flow cytometry ***133 and CK19 showed marked elevation in HCC and extra hepatic cancer compared with liver cirrhosis and control subjects(pm liver cirrhosis to *** of the three showed the best AUC(0.978)and accuracy(92.5%)for discrimination of HCC from extra hepatic *** CD133 with G2/m and CK19 comprises an excellent diagnostic panel for discrimination of HCV-cirrhotic patients with HCC from those with extra hepatic cancer.

In computer vision,emotion recognition using facial expression images is considered an important research *** learning advances in recent years have aided in attaining improved results in this *** to recent studies,multiple facial expressions may be included in facial photographs representing a particular type of *** is feasible and useful to convert face photos into collections of visual words and carry out global expression *** main contribution of this paper is to propose a facial expression recognitionmodel(FERm)depending on an optimized Support Vector machine(SVm).To test the performance of the proposed model(FERm),AffectNet is *** uses 1250 emotion-related keywords in six different languages to search three major search engines and get over 1,000,000 facial photos *** FERm is composed of three main phases:(i)the Data preparation phase,(ii)Applying grid search for optimization,and(iii)the categorization *** discriminant analysis(LDA)is used to categorize the data into eight labels(neutral,happy,sad,surprised,fear,disgust,angry,and contempt).Due to using LDA,the performance of categorization via SVm has been obviously *** search is used to find the optimal values for hyperparameters of SVm(C and gamma).The proposed optimized SVm algorithm has achieved an accuracy of 99%and a 98%F1 score.
