This study describes a glucocapparin determination method. Based on rapeseed determination of glucosinolate (GSL), the equation of the average straight regression line is Y = 100.42X – 0.03 (R2 = 0.9998). Enzymatic hydrolysis of glucocapparin extracted from leaves and fruits of B. senegalensis, analyzed by SPME-GC-MS confirmed the presence of methylisothiocyanate as the main hydrolysis glucocapparin product. Monitoring glucocapparin contents in B. senegalensis leaves and fruits collected in 4 localities in Senegal showed differences between organs according localities and periods of harvest. Glucocapparin content was very high in dry season particularly in January and the lowest rates were recorded during the rainy period between August and November.

The main objective of this study is to evaluate the seasonal performance of 20 MW solar power plants in Senegal. The analysis revealed notable seasonal variations in the performance of all stations. The most significant yields are recorded in spring, autumn and winter, with values ranging from 5 to 7.51 kWh/kWp/day for the reference yield and 4.02 to 7.58 kWh/kWp/day for the final yield. These fluctuations are associated with intense solar activity during the dry season and clear skies, indicating peak production. Conversely, minimum values are recorded during the rainy season from June to September, with a final yield of 3.86 kWh/kW/day due to dust, clouds and high temperatures. The performance ratio analysis shows seasonal dynamics throughout the year with rates ranging from 77.40% to 95.79%, reinforcing reliability and optimal utilization of installed capacity. The results of the capacity factor vary significantly, with March, April, May, and sometimes October standing out as periods of optimal performance, with 16% for Kahone, 16% for Bokhol, 18% for Malicounda and 23% for Sakal. Total losses from solar power plants show similar seasonal trends standing out for high loss levels from June to July, reaching up to 3.35 kWh/kWp/day in June. However, using solar trackers at Sakal has increased production by up to 25%, demonstrating the operational stability of this innovative technology compared with the plants fixed panel. Finally, comparing these results with international studies confirms the outstanding efficiency of Senegalese solar power plants, other installations around the world.

Omni Processors(OP)are machines which use sludge as a fuel to generate electricity and clean water,but create ash at the same *** the present study,fly ash and bottom ash are investigated as materials for potential reuse in the construction ***,the granular size,density and Blaine finesse are ***,the chemical composition and microstructure are obtained by means of X-ray fluorescence and Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(SEM-EDS),***,ashes reactivity is determined by two chemical methods(modified Chapelle test,bound water content R3)and a mechanical method(pozzolanic activity index).The characterization results indicate two material types:fly ash similar to cement and bottom ash similar to fine ***’s why the mortars mechanical strength with fly ash 0%-30%is better than that with bottom ash at the same *** ash slightly decreases the mechanical strength of mortars while bottom ash induces a much more significant decrease.

The disposal of waste has become an environmental issue due to the limited available landfilling space. This paper aims to compare the characteristics of hydrated lime with fine sewage sludge ash (FSSA) and coal fly ash (CFA). Multiple techniques, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), compressive strengths, thermophysical properties, and setting time were used to assess the physicochemical characteristics of the lime-based materials. X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction were used to determine the chemical composition and phases of ashes, lime and binders. The results showed that the chemical composition of ashes is similar to that of cement. Besides glass, the main minerals identified in CFA and FSSA are quartz (SiO2) and anhydrite (CaSO4). Moreover, calcium aluminium oxide (Ca3Al2O6) was detected for CFA and phosphorus calcium silicate (Ca2SiO4-Ca3(PO4)2) for FSSA and minor phases were detected for both. FTIR measurements were carried out to characterize the inorganics components of different samples. Compressive strengths of mortars with different formulations have shown that both have a long-term positive effect which might be related to a pozzolanic activity. For the CFA the L3 binder consisting of 60% of coal fly ash and 40% lime has a higher compressive strength than the others while for the FSSA the L4 binder consisting of 80% fine ash and 20% lime has a higher compressive strength than the others. Both binders setting start times are greater than that of cement but shorter than that of lime. The study of the thermophysical properties of binders shows that they have a higher thermal resistance than cement mortar. 在过去十年中,电动汽车（EV）已经渐渐取代传统的汽油汽车。电动汽车不仅环保,而且与智能电网结合使用时,开辟了新的可能性,实现了车辆与智能电网生态系统,通常称为车辆到电网（V2G）。这不仅鼓励转向环保型电动汽车/插电式混合动力电动汽车（PHEV）,而且还积极支持电网负载管理,并且对于涉及此类生态系统的整体而言实体是新的,可提供经济效益。尽管如此,隐私和安全的保护仍然是智能电网面临的严重问题。V2G使用的设备种类小、价格便宜、资源有限,容易受到多重攻击。为V2G系统设计的协议必须安全、轻便,并保护车主的隐私。物理安全也很重要,因为电动汽车和充电站（CS）通常不受人类保护。为了解决这些问题,我们为V2G系统提出了一种基于物理不可克隆（PUF）的用户密钥交换认证（SUKA）协议。所提出的协议使用PUF在EV和网络服务器之间实现两步相互认证,且满足轻便、安全且保护隐私的功能。仿真表明,与其他先进的V2G认证协议相比,我们提出的协议具有更好的性能并提供更多的安全特性。通过形式化的安全模型和分析证明了该协议的安全性。

Technological and Environmental Behavior of Coal Fly Ash in Lime-Based Materials

Coal fly ash is considered an industrial by-product derived from coal combustion in thermal power plant. It is one of the most complex anthropogenic materials. Its improper disposal has become an environmental concern and resulted in a waste of recoverable resources. The aim of this paper is to study the physico-chemical characteristics of binders based on coal fly ash and lime in order to develop an eco-cement. The various characterization tests carried out are X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction, compressive strengths, thermophysical properties and setting time. X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction were used to determine the chemical composition and phases of fly ash, lime and binders. This allowed us to see that the chemical composition of fly ash is similar to that of cement. Compressive strengths of mortars containing 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% of fly ash have shown that fly ash has a long-term positive effect which might be related to a pozzolanic activity. The L3 binder consisting of 60% of coal fly ash and 40% lime has a higher compressive strength than the others. The binder setting start time is greater than that of cement but shorter than that of lime. The study of the thermophysical properties of the L3 binder shows that it has a higher thermal resistance than cement mortar. Moreover, it heats up less quickly because of its low effusivity compared to that of the latter. This analysis highlighted the principal characteristics that must be taken into account to use coal fly correctly in lime-based materials.

Nuchal Cord at Delivery and Neonatal Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Objective: The present study was aimed at evaluating the outcome of pregnancies with a nuchal cord. Methods: A retrospective population-based study of all deliveries during the years 2011-2020 in Philippe Maguilen SENGHOR Center was conducted. Perinatal outcome of patients with and without nuchal cord was compared. Results: Among 44,958 deliveries during the study period, 1.8% had a nuchal cord, documented at birth (n = 807). Higher rates of labor induction (9.1% vs. 3.2%;p 0.001) and non-reassuring fetal heart rate patterns (RR = 2.366;CI: 1.631 - 3.432) were noted among pregnancies with nuchal cord as compared with the control group. The cesarean delivery rate was significantly higher among pregnancies with a nuchal cord (39.5% vs. 21.8%;RR = 2333;CI: 2.023 - 2.692). Although 5 min Apgar scores lower than 7 were more common in pregnancies with a nuchal cord (7.8% vs. 3.8%;RR = 2.117;CI: 1.629 - 3.363). There was no statistical significance between the two groups for the perinatal mortality. Conclusion: Nuchal cord is associated with prolonged labor and adverse perinatal outcome.

Profile of Cardiovascular Diseases of Diabetics Admitted in Fann and Dantec Cardiology Departments

Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the most important cause of morbidity and mortality in type 2 diabetes (T2D). The objective of this study was to describe the profile of cardiovascular diseases of diabetics admitted at the cardiology departments of Aristide Le Dantec and Fann hospitals. Patients and Methods: This was a retrospective, descriptive and analytical study conducted on January 1st and December 31st, 2020 at the Dantec and Fann cardiology departments in Dakar. We studied epidemiological, diagnostic, therapeutic and evolutionary data. The data 7 was analyzed with STATA 14 software. Results: Of the 1483 patients hospitalized in both cardiology departments, one hundred and thirty-three (133) were diabetic, the hospital frequency was 9.01%. The average age was 62.3 ± 11.2 years. The sex ratio (M/F) was 0.8. Almost half (47.4%) of patients had a duration of diabetes greater than 10 years. Cardiovascular risk factors were dominated by physical inactivity (84.2%), menopause (81.9%) and hypertension (64.7%). Heart failure was the most common clinical manifestation with 45.1%. The prevalence of acute coronary artery disease in our study was 37.59%, followed by lower limbs peripheral arterial disease (9.7%) and stroke (3%). Concerning the treatment, 119 patients were on anti-diabetic treatment. Most patients were on aspirin (79%), cholesterol-lowering drugs (78.95%) and ACE inhibitor (77.44%). Percutaneous coronary intervention was performed in 19 patients. 12.03% of patients diabetics died during hospitalization. Conclusion: Cardiovascular events are common during type 2 diabetes. Their management is important to avoid complications that can be fatal.

In this work, the total energies of doubly excited states (ns2) 1Se, (np2) 1De, (nd2) 1Ge, (nf2) 1Ie, (ng2) 1Ke, and (nh2) 1Me of the helium isoelectronic sequence with Z ≤ 10 are calculated in the framework of the variational method of the Screening Constant by Unit Nuclear Charge (SCUNC). These calculations are performed using a new wavefunction correlated to Hylleraas-type. The possibility of using the SCUNC method in the investigation of high-lying Doubly Excited States(DES) in two-electron systems is demonstrated in the present work in the case of the (nl2) 1Lπ doubly excited states, where accurate total energies are tabulated up to n = 20. All the results obtained in this paper are in agreement with the values of the available literature and may be useful for future experimental and theoretical studies on the doubly excited (nl2) 1Lπ states of two-electron systems.
