Detection and Identification of Gonococci Resistance to Ceph.losporin and Determination th. Most Effective Empirical Treatment for Gonococcal Ureth.itis in Male h.man in Egypt

Introduction: Gonorrh.eae and antimicrobial resistance AMR of gonococci is a major h.alth.problem today, because emerged resistance to last line empirical treatment for gonorrh.eae ceph.losporins in many countries is predictable to be untreatable disease in near future. Wh. GASP, Wh. GLASS and Wh.’s global action plan on AMR recommends to expand nationally and internationally to collect data to monitor AMR of gonococci for public h.alth.policies. Objective: Our aim is to detect resistance of gonococci to Ceph.- losporins and determine th. most effective empirical treatment for un-com- plicated gonococcal ureth.itis in males in Egypt. Meth.ds: We depended in our meth.dology on selected gonococci from male ureth.al disch.rge specimens on Th.er Martien medium;collected 33 isolates during th.ee years from 2017 to 2020;used antibiotics with.MIC according to international standards and measuring IZD according to antimicrobial susceptibility testing reference ranges in international standards. Results: By statistical studies, resistance to ceph.losporins was as follows: Ceph.adine 97%, Cefaclor 87.9%, Cefoxitin 97%, Ceftriaxone 90.9% and 42.4% to Cefepime, th.t sh.ws h.tero-genecity in resistance inside ceph.losporin group;wh.le resistance to Macrolides group represented by Azith.omycin and Tetracyclins group represented by Doxycycline was as follows: Azith.omycin 39.4%, Doxycycilne 27.3%;finally fluoroquinolones, th. most effective group, resistance, was as: Levofloxacin 15.2%, Ciprofloxacin 15.2% and Ofloxacin 24.2%. Conclusion: Th. most effective empirical treatment for uncomplicated gonococcal ureth.itis in males in EGYPT is Fluoroquinolone;especially Levofloxacin ranks first susceptibility as 78.8% and 15.2% resistance followed by Ciprofloxacin susceptibility as 69.7% and 15.2% resistance, finally Ofloxacin susceptibility as 66.7% and 24.2% resistance;for Ceftriaxone not more recommended in EGYPT as empirical treatment for uncomplicated gonococcal ureth.itis, it is su

Ch.nging climate intensifies h.at stress,resulting in a greater risk of workplace productivity decline in timber office buildings with.low internal th.rmal *** impact of climate ch.nge induced h.at exposure on indoor workplace productivity in timber office buildings h.s not been extensively ***,furth.r investigation to reduce th. work capacity decline towards th. end of th. century is ***,h.at exposure in a net zero-carbon timber building near Brussels,Belgium,was evaluated using a reproducible comparative approach.with.different internal th.rmal mass *** analysis indicated th.t strategies with.increased th.rmal mass were more effective in limiting th. effects of h.at exposure on workplace *** medium and h.gh.th.rmal mass strategies reduced workplace productivity loss to 0.1%in th. current,0.3%and 0.2%in th. midfuture,and 4.9%and 3.9%for future *** comparison,baseline with.low th.rmal mass yielded a decline of 2.3%,3.3%,and 8.2%.Th. variation in maximum and minimum wet-bulb globe temperatures were also lower for medium and h.gh.th.rmal mass strategies th.n for low th.rmal mass *** study findings lead to th. formulation of design guidelines,identification of research.gaps,and recommendations for future work.

Salinity is a major abiotic stress th.t h.nders plant development and productivity and influences agricultural *** priming is a tech.ique used to boost germination and seedling growth.under abiotic stress.A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate th. impact of seed priming with.potassium nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 mM NaCl)on two maize verities(MNh.60 and 30T60)for th. growth.development and metabolic attributes results revealed th.t in maize variety MNh.60,KNO_(3)priming’s significantly enh.nced growth.parameters th.n in maize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with.KNO_(3)enh.nced carotenoids and total ch.oroph.ll in th. 30T60 variety th.t protected th. maize plants from salt ***,it was sh.wn th.t priming with.1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect th.m from oxidative damage by salt stress minimizing reactive oxygen species(ROS)formation th.ough.increased levels of malondialdeh.de(MDA),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of th. present study confirm th.t th. use of th. KNO_(3)seed priming tech.ique is a lowcost,environmentally friendly tech.ique for mitigating adverse impacts of salt stress in maize crops by activating th. antioxidant defense system and improving ch.oroph.ll and osmolyte contents.

Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via diffusion(MCvD)h.ve been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TDDS)***,because th. MCvD is unreliable and th.re exists molecular noise and inter symbol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire th. reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if th. separation distance between th. nano transmitter and nano receiver is *** th.s work,we propose an approach.for optimizing th. performance of th. nano system using cooperative molecular communications with.a nano relay sch.me,wh.le accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift *** fractions of th. molecular drug th.t sh.uld be allocated to th. nano transmitter and nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by th.Modified Central Force Optimization(MCFO)*** th. previous work,th. probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form *** is used as an objective function to determine th. optimal velocity of th. drug molecules and th. detection th.esh.ld at th. nano *** simulation results sh.w th.t th. probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing th. drift velocity,detection th.esh.ld,location of th. nano-relay in th. proposed nano system,and molecular drug budget.

We investigate th. th.rmodynamics properties of mesoscopic quantum nanowire devices, such.as th. effect of electron-ph.non relaxation time, Peltier coefficient, carrier concentration, frequency of th.s field, and ch.nnel width. Th. influence of time-varying fields on th. transport th.ough.such.device h.s been taken into consideration. Th.s device is modelled as nanowires connecting to two reservoirs. Th. two-dimensional electron gas in a GaAs- AlGaAs h.terojunction h.s a Fermi wave length.wh.ch.is a h.ndred times larger th.n th.t in a metal. Th. results sh.w th. oscillatory beh.viour of dependence of th. th.rmo power on frequency of th. induced field. Th.se results agree with.th. existing experiments and may be important for electronic nanodevices.

Th.rmal sh.t noise, th.rmal voltage and th.rmo power are studied th.ough.a carbon nanotube quantum dot coupled to two leads with.random rough.ess of amplitude on each.of th. two boundaries, under th. effect of microwave field, and magnetic field. Th. expressions for th. th.rmal sh.t noise and th.rmal energy are deduced wh.n th. barrier strength.and contact area are taken into consideration. A model for such.mesoscopic devices is proposed as a carbon nanotube quantum dot coupled to two leads with.random rough.ess of amplitude on each.of th. two boundaries. Th. results sh.w oscillatory beh.viors of th. dependence of th. th.rmal sh.t noise on th. studied parameters. Th. th.rmopower oscillates with.th. variation of th. contact area, and th. peak h.igh.s decrease linearly with.th. contact area and increases with.temperature. Th.s trend of beh.vior is due to th. interplay of th. induced microwave ph.tons and th. tunneling rate th.ough.th. side bands. Th.s research.is important for using a model as a h.gh.frequency sh.t noise detector and th. th.rmopower is sensitive to th. energy dependence of th. conductance.
